Great place, huge menu, friendly service. There's a lot of places to get a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings but this place is less expensive. Also little touches like they grill the burger bun on the flat top to give it a crispy crunch. Onion rings and fries are fried well and ranch dressing is thick, not runny. My husband got the chili cheeseburger and he said they put chili on both the top and bottom bun. The burger and toppings were in the middle. It was still messy but a little easier to eat this way. He said the chili was a good tomatoey chili. We tried to come again today for breakfast but the place was packed for Fathers Day. We'll definitely be back many times to come.

Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger combo $16. Fry's tasted like dirty oil.

Ordered a Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger combo. $13.99 on the menu. Fry's tasted like the oil was overused or they had burned something in there recently. The Burger was good, although the cheese wasn't melted. I think if the Fry's had tasted normal I would give 4 stars to this meal.

Gyro combo with side of zucchini

Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. Plenty of seating in the dining area. I ordered the Gyro combo and was ecstatic when I learned I could choose fried zucchini as the side instead of fries. I had been craving fried zucchini for quite some time and am so glad I chose Harry's to fulfill that craving! Piping hot, perfectly battered zucchini which certainly did not appear to be pre frozen. A nice little pile of parmesan cheese was the cherry on top. The gyro was stuffed with plenty of meat, res onions, tomatoes and served with a good portion of tzatziki sauce. Hadn't eaten at Harry's in quite a long time but was very happy to know they are still serving up awesome tasting food after all these years!

Damn I remember when I was a kid I use to eat here a lot, this place and Steve's were the best char burgers you could get back in the early 2000s. Steve's since has had new owners and the quality has drastically went down hill, this place was always solid and delicious. The reason I stopped eating here simply because the way they handle their food is kinda appalling, I also got food poisoning from here back in 2016. I decided to try this place again and ordered a cheese burger and fries. Both of which were very lack luster and not tasty. The burger didn't come with cheese and had an odd sweet taste like maple syrup or powder sugar and also came with 2 long hairs which both looked like pubes so that's not cool (again their hygiene is appalling) and the fries they used to be so crispy and fresh, now they're mushy and tastes stale and gross. I've read about their service when I writing this up, tbh their service has always taken a long time I truthfully don't mind the wait. The interior is some what dated and has always had a lot of wear. The condom machine in the bathroom came in clutch before though so that's why this place is getting 2 stars even though the burger guy needs a hair net

Prices are fair. Food is very good and generous portions. Be careful on the parking lot. I tripped over a cement block and had a fall.

I ordered the Western Bacon Cheezburger Combo, with Onion Rings as my side, and, a Raspberry Iced Tea as my drink. The place was busy-ish, with people eating their food. It's outdoor seating, only, which presents its own challenges when there's a wind blowing. But, I digress. Aside from maybe a couple people conversing, and, the music playing, not to mention skaters from the neighboring skate park rolling up, and/or out, it's relatively quiet. Just as an aside: That wasn't a complaint. In fact, it's primo Real Estate being next door to a Skate Park, as far as I'm concerned. My food was ready in about 12 minutes or so, which was nice. My burger was bigger than the last couple of burgers I've eaten fairly recently , which was great. Definitely tastier than the last couple of burgers I've had. I'll have to eat here a couple more times to truly give it a final verdict, but, I was pleased with my burger. I have yet to give a mention of my onion rings, so, here goes: This is how Onion Rings should be done! Golden Brown, and, not Orange. Tasty, for sure! Overall, like I said, I'm pleased with my experience. I'll have to eat here at least once more to truly get a feel(taste) for their food, but, like I said, I'm pleased.

What an awesome gem of a spot here in Orange County! I've been eyeing checking District 36 Diner…read moreout for the longest time - ever since they opened up earlier this year - but they have the weirdest opening hours! I always thought of them "as the restaurant with the bizarre hours" - literally four hours a day during the week (closed Mondays) - and only slightly longer hours during the weekend. Upon first stepping foot into the space - you're transformed into an old-school diner with Vietnamese influence. The walls are well decorated in Vietnamese memorabilia. I was greeted by Brian almost immediately - who directed me to a spot "wherever I'd like to sit" - and I opted for one of the booths. Brian - is the co-owner of the diner, but is also part of "old-school" Little Saigon culinary royalty - a descendant of the family that founded the OG Song Long restaurant off Bolsa Ave. that has since shut down (known for their Cha Ca Thanh Long dish - which sadly, you can't get here). He is incredibly warm, genuine, and easy to chat with. After trying to decide between their Bo Kho variations (which is my favorite Vietnamese dish next to pho) - I settled for something new for me - their Five Spiced Chicken Fried Steak - which also comes with two eggs your way (I picked "Sunny Side up"), tater tots, and a Diet Coke. The wait was minimal - and the food was awesome! The tater tots tasted fresh - was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and yummy on the inside. I found myself eating those first - while letting the gravy seep into my chicken fried steak to soften it up a bit. The chicken fried steak was perfectly flavored - you could almost taste a bit of pho spices with each bite. The homemade gravy was out of this world amazing - making the chicken breading soft enough for me to eat comfortably. The two sunny side up eggs had perfect yolks - I like to poke, and then suck each yolk up - before eating the whites. I appreciate Brian cranking up the AC since I forgot to bring in my portable fan - and it was a pretty warm day. Hoping to check them out again this Saturday for their take on Bun Bo Hue or maybe one of their Bo Kho dishes! Plenty of parking in the shared lot with a Grocery Outlet and Artisan 7 Leaves (which I stopped by after my lunch here). Hope to see them more busy! Brian told me he'd definitely consider opening longer hours during the week if business picks up. Check them out!! They have a unique twist on traditional diner foods with a bit of Vietnamese flair!

The diner is very clean with interesting artwork and vibrant colors. I got the Five-Spice Chicken Fried Steak, Mama's Crispy Rolls, and a cup of Chicken broth to share. The rolls were hot and crispy with fresh leafy greens. The chicken fried steak was very crispy with a consistency almost like fried chicken. The taste is different from a traditional southern type of chicken fried steak. It had an interesting flavor like a mix of the pho seasoning. It is a brownish yellowish color and tastes a little like curry. It paired well with the tots. This was a hearty but not super heavy brunch dish and having a cup of the chicken broth was perfect to wash everything down. The breakfast burrito looked very good on the menu and I might try that for on another visit. I would recommend this diner for anyone looking for one with a retro modern feel and fusion food and good service.
