Papa Z's is a classic American diner restaurant in Fountain Valley and I recently came here to try their breakfast burritos. The restaurant is well-lit and feels more clean & modern comparing with other diner restaurants. [Parking]: Easy and free plaza parking lot. [Ordering]: Customers will need to order at the cashier counter first, grab a number, find an available table, and wait for food to come to your table. Customers cannot preserve or save tables ahead of time. They have Sriracha at the utensil station. [Menu]: Breakfast burrito and French toast are top highlights on Yelp. Customers can request to make their breakfast burritos "wet" (with spanish sauce and cheese) with an extra cost. Other breakfast options include egg omelettes, hot cakes, salads, sandwiches, 1/3 pound burgers, etc. *** Chorizo breakfast burrito (Spicy pork chorizo, eggs, hash browns and cheese in a fresh flour tortilla - $13.90 + wet for extra $1.35): Very generous portion and I could only finish half of burrito. Lovely crispy hash brown and tortilla was great. Tomato-based sauce was solid with a slightly spicy kick. Not sure I would necessary make my breakfast burrito wet again as burrito itself already tasted pretty good. *** Not exactly the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, but it tasted pretty good (a-tier) and I thought it was a good bang for the buck.

Checking for later breakfast, order the meals before seat , no save table Nice service, great food and we enjoyed the breakfast.

While on the run to a wrestling tournament we were in search of breakfast burritos since we knew we'd be there most of the morning/ afternoon. I found this place on Yelp and called in our order for 2 breakfast burritos and we were cutting it short on time so thankfully they were ready when we arrived. The burritos were huge and filling. The pico de gallo added the perfect kick. The girl at the front desk was super friendly and from the 2 minutes I spent there, it's looked clean. My husband thinks they were over priced, about ~$32 for two. Great spot for a quick, tasty breakfast burrito on the go.

My wife got the chicken salad sandwich but didn't care for it. She was jealous of my breakfast so then she ordered a kid's meal with 1 French Toast, 1 Bacon, 1 Egg scrambled soft. She loved it. The egg is cooked properly in a frying pan instead of on the flattop. The French Toast is nice and eggy. The bacon is excellent quality.

I find this place to be kind of a mix between a diner and restaurant. You order and take your seat and then they bring your good to you. We ordered the - Ham & Cheese omelette and the Country Fried Steak breakfast. The country fried steak was amazing. The breading was tasty, meat was cooked well and the gravy had really good flavor. The hash browns are cooked really well and there are a lot of them. The Eggs are an issue. I asked for over medium but I got over wet ( not even cooked easy) almost still clear. And both eggs yolks were broke when served. I wasn't really happy with the eggs but the rest of this plate was really good. The ham & Cheese omelette was large and filled with lots of cheese and ham chunks. The ham was regular chopped deli ham And the cheese was pretty good. But again, with the eggs, they were cooked horribly wrong. The omelette was severely overcooked and totally dried out. I basically just ate the ham and cheese portion of the omelette with the gas browns and toast. The service was great. Employees are friendly, attentive and polite. The seating area is pretty open so not much privacy between tables, but you get to seat yourself.

Papa Z's is a little retro diner located in Huntington Beach that serves breakfast along with a selection of lunch options. My boyfriend and I stopped by for some quick breakfast and we were overall happy with our visit to this local establishment. We arrived to a busy atmosphere and long line but service was speedy so we didn't wait any longer than 10 minutes. I originally wanted to try one of their deliciously looking breakfast sandwiches but I ended up deciding on the bacon omelette instead and it was as good as an omelette gets. My boyfriend ordered a wet chorizo breakfast burrito and he absolutely loved it. I stole a bite of his burrito and he definitely ordered the right item! The red sauce they use was delicious and paired well with the burrito. We'll definitely be back for breakfast when we're in the area again and I recommend to anyone looking for a good bite! Just had 4 bacon and two eggs with hash browns and a Small coffee $21.95. You order at a counter. A server delivers the food but you have to fill your own coffee. The breakfast is delicious but the cost is expensive. Can't afford this place and I know many folks retired can't afford a breakfast like this. Projoe 1950

This is a good brunch spot. The food lately has been a bit too salty for my taste but normally they have really good breakfast food.

How much does delivery cost? Do you need to call in to find out?

Good morning Kelsey, unfortunately, due to ongoing issues with door dash and their drivers we no longer provide delivery. If their policies and rates change in the future we may return to providing delivery.…

Is the Huntington beach location open?

Yes, we had lunch there 3 different times last week.

I went for my usual: a glazed blueberry donut, the works breakfast burrito, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The burrito is massive and kept me full all day, and the salsa adds the perfect kick. The donut was sweet, fluffy, and exactly what I needed to start the morning right. The orange juice had a bit more pulp than I like, which is funny because I usually love pulp, but it was still fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the space was clean, and they even have a few spots that are perfect for photos if you're feeling social media vibes. Breakfast here is always a treat. Highly recommend if you're nearby--this place is still top notch.

Huge, soft croissant filled with cheese and thinly sliced ham. Makes for a solid snack or a small brunch item. The lady warmed it up for us so that we could eat it immediately. Carne Asada lunch burrito ($15): 4/5. Made with carne asada, brown rice, grilled onions, and guac. I honestly didn't really taste much of the guac, but the burrito as a whole still tasted yummy. The carne asada was in the middle of the surprisingly flavorful brown rice, so you get protein and rice in every bite. A bit pricey for the size. Donuts: 4/5. Maple bar and chocolate twist were your standard donuts: pillowy dough topped with the respectively flavored sweet glaze. Not really for me, but my parents liked them. It was a hot day, and there was no AC, but they propped the door open for some airflow. The interior is very plain, with no decorations, and has a few indoor tables, but it's more of a grab-and-go place anyways. The lady who helped us answered our questions but seemed a little impatient, going through the motions to get work done as quickly as possible. It didn't feel like a genuinely welcoming atmosphere to us, and their food, though decently tasty, was pretty pricey, so I wouldn't visit again.

It wasn't that busy yet but after a few minutes, large group of people started showing up. We did have a reservation prior. The cafe is really nice, pretty big and spacious. All of the staff are really nice. We ordered 3 appetizers and 1 main dish to share. I love getting their cloud matcha latte, it has this sweet and salty earthy taste that I love. My bf got the marble coffee, he said it was pretty good as well. Then we had calamari, spicy wontons and THE DAO. Calamari was plentiful in serving, comes with a sauce and I really liked their sauce, it has citrusy taste. The spicy wontons are a crowd favorite as well for me. It definitely puts it on the top spot of spicy wontons I've tried from other spots. THE DAO (yes, it needed the caps lock on the name), this is my top appetizer from this cafe. The first time I tried it, I was craving it for a while. Some people might say it's a simple appetizer, but for me it's the taste and flavor that put it on the top spot. For the main dish we had Xo Chien, it's a crispy rice with pork floss, egg, chinese sausage. It's a delightful dish, and the flavor and texture is pretty nice as well. My bf loves this dish. Definitely recommend going here for a brunch. Can't wait to come back and try their menu for lunch and dinner.
