Love love Harry's !! Top notch 5 star dining in Playa Del Carmen. The food was extremely good! I ordered the salmon, Caesar salad, and side of masked potatoes that was good quality and very delicious!! The service was top notch for sure!! The entire time they Check on you and management was attentive and gave us history of all the sister restaurants. The ambiance is beautiful!! Very modern and upscale!! Good for any occasion with reasonable prices. Also, their lemon drop was good ! I love me a good lemon drop :) I will come back here and I recommend others to come when they visit playa del Carmen! Side note : They give out complimentary cotton candy

Omg! This restaurant was very upscale with a lovely decor and environment. The service was impeccable. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes , Cesar salad and a beef empanada. It was delightful. I also had a lemon drop martini which was made to perfection. Their customary bread rolls were delicious, they melted in your mouth. This restaurant is surrounded by several other restaurants and some shopping stores, clubs, and hookah lounges. Outstanding place to visit if in the Playa de Carmen area. This is one of my highlights of dining.

Amazing experience! I wish we had this restaurant in atlanta. The beef tartare was absolutely delicious. The service by Silver and Lilith was top notch and they were very attentive. I'd definitely come back as the restaurant is super sexy and perfect for date night.

Very cool atmosphere! Very great views of Playa del Carmen! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They brought out their options of steak cuts. They even had an iPad for all the wines and desserts you could swipe through after they grabbed your menus. The food was quite good. The favorite being the carpaccio that had an interesting flavor with the added small pickles on top. Crab cake was absolutely amazing! (Coming from a native Louisianian) The steaks unfortunately weren't the most outstanding, which was slightly disappointing after such delicious appetizers and cocktails. However, loves the baby bell peppers and scoop of hummus the steaks came with! Overall a great experience with pretty good food!

Come here if you want an elevated dinning experience - from entry to exit the staff is courteous and helpful. The place is beautiful, and quiet enough to have a conversation with your date. The food is delicious- servings are quite large! Definitely don't skip the table side ice cream!

Had a great meal here. When in Mexico sometimes you just want something a little more like home. Harry's is an upscale steakhouse that offers USDA, Kobe , Waygu, and Australian brand steaks. We started with a table side mixologist who delivered on the promise of best drinks. We had a dirty martini, old fashioned, and an amaretto sour. All drinks were made to perfection and generously portioned. We didn't have appetizers since we had snacks prior. We all ordered the 8oz filet. Each steak was well seasoned and finished with salt and cooked perfectly to temperature we requested. We also had three sides the creamed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables which included asparagus, zucchini , and peppers. The meal was all around good and the best meal we had in Mexico. The service is great . We also had the Harry's pie which is vanilla ice cream chock full of macadamias on an Oreo cookie crust topped with hardened milk chocolate. The price point all in was 378.00 USD for three people including entrees , three sides, and three alcoholic beverages. This is equivalent to higher end US steak restaurant. Definitely a nice away from home treat option when you have had your fill of tacos if that's even possible. The restaurant is dimly lit well appointed and polished. The noise level is low to moderate dependence on patrons.

The first time it was just for some drinks and then we ate here on New Years Eve. Our bartender was Frank and our server was Esencia Vital. Both were friendly and helpful. We ordered 4 things and all of them were pretty good. We got the Tempura Oysters which were excellent and not greasy at all. The Tiradito Boticario was my favorite. Great texture and flavor without being overwhelmed with sauce. The Camarones Boticario were also quite good. My wife had the Ceviche Boticario and said it was on point. I drank mostly beer which was Corona and I had a glass of white wine. The wine list was limited but they really specialize in their drinks which looked fantastic. We would recommend this place to anyone.

It was very refreshing, well balanced and came in a really cool glass! My second drink was the "Amarra Hombres Cascados". Gin, Aperol, grapefruit juice. It too hit the spot on a really hot day. Definitely a place we will hit when we need a good cocktail!

Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and showcased traditional Mexican cuisine in a way that was both refined and comforting. My favourites were the roasted cauliflower, which was incredibly flavourful, and the birria taco. The taco was excellent, although I personally would have preferred it made with beef instead of lamb. That's purely a personal preference, as the preparation and seasoning were fantastic. The only downside to the experience was the mosquitoes. I was bitten four times in the span of about an hour while dining. The staff even offered bug spray shortly after I sat down, which suggests it's a known issue. While I appreciated the gesture, it did detract from an otherwise excellent meal. Overall, the food alone makes Axiote well worth a visit, and it's easy to see why it's included in the Michelin Guide. If you're planning to dine there, I'd recommend bringing insect repellent and spraying yourself heavily.

Location 5/5, Service 5/5, Food 4/5, Drinks 5/5, Clientele…read more2/5 *more on that below* This spot has one of the best beachside settings in Playa del Carmen. The entire restaurant, including the bar, is literally set in the sand, with tables right on the water just a few feet from the ocean. It's barefoot, toes in the sand dining done right, and the atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit. We did have one hiccup in the evening due to a rowdy group from a drone company that was extremely intoxicated and invasive of our space. Their belongings kept ending up on our table, and there were drunk men taking their shirts off and doing shots just a few feet away. Not sure if they didn't have enough tables or what, but we had made a reservation to celebrate a special event months in advanced, so it was a bit irritating. The servers eventually handled it and intervened multiple times, but at no point were they asked to move or relocate. Once that group settled down, the night became a much more enjoyable experience. We were a party of 12, and every single person raved about both their food and drinks. For drinks we had: Prickly Pear: Made with Orange Blossom Condesa Gin, St Germain, fresh lemon juice, rosemary syrup, mint, and strawberry. Bright and refreshing, though it came with more foam on top than expected. Coco Loco: A fresh whole coconut with Patrón Silver tequila, vodka, rum, gin, pineapple juice, and coconut cream. A true showstopper. Don't be intimidated by the mix of liquor, it is smooth, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. No hangovers were had. Espresso Martini: Simple and clean with a light foam. Well executed, but not a signature cocktail compared to the others. For food we had: We were surprised with an amuse bouche of huitlacoche, often called Mexican truffle. It's a corn fungus with a rich, earthy flavor and this small bite was outstanding and set the tone for the meal. Queso Fundido: Oaxaca cheese with chorizo and flour tortillas. Great flavor, but very thick, making it a bit messy and difficult to serve. Guacamole: Prepared with tomato, onion, cilantro, and cotija cheese. Perfectly seasoned, fresh, and especially enjoyable paired with the queso fundido. Brisket: Served in chileatole sauce with huitlacoche truffle, carrots, and cotija cheese. Comforting, rich, and deeply flavorful. Robalo Guayaba: Guava sea bass served in guava sauce with chiltepín chili. Beautifully cooked with just a little too much sweetness and citrus. It would have benefited from a little bit of heat, or a vegetable or side to pair it with, as it is not served with anything other than a cooked slices of lemon. Creme Brulee Mexicano: A rice pudding infused crème brûlée with caramel and vanilla ice cream. A thoughtful twist on the classic, with the rice pudding adding depth and warmth to the dessert. Knocked down to 4 stars due to the rowdiness of some surrounding guests. We were seated on the sand and needed to walk through the entirety of the restaurant, but people without tables or reservations were standing in the middle of walkways and sitting on the steps down to the beach, many too intoxicated to stand up. I'm hopeful this is not the usual clientele, and I would return for the quality of the food, drinks, and the gorgeous setting.
