Went to Harry's Sports Pub last Friday , try to buy a scratcher in his Lotto machine only to have it take my $20 told the bartender she said I have to wait for the owner in order to get my money back . Came in 3 days in a row only to be told to come back again. I finally got my $20 today 4 days later . I don't understand why an owner would have a machine for lotto that is out of order and only he can refund the money . Good thing I live in Fairfield or I would have been screwed. Will never go back there again . Not a very good way to run your business didn't even get offered a complimentary drink for waiting 4 days . What comes around goes around. read more

Bald headed female bartender refused to cash in a 1$ bill for quarters to shoot pool (of all things) because she believed one of my friends from previously before was underage. You know, I get it.. Make sure you're covering your grounds as far as ID'S. But seriously, PLEASE use some common sense and a little bit of short term memory. Kicked us out. Horrible service and attitude for your PAYING CUSTOMERS!! I will not be returning. Do yourself a favor to avoid this place (or at least the bartender). I went there a couple nights back with my cousin and a friend. I was a little apprehensive because I haven't had great experiences there before with customers. Well tonight, a bouncer that was off the clock came up and aggressively told me to take my backpack off of the pool table and that him and his friends were going to play. I proceeded to try and tell him that I only reason had it on there because we had been waiting over an hour to play pool and I didn't wanna get it taken before my friends could shut up and walk over to the table. My cousin stood up and the bouncer who was off the clock started screaming at him like he was a chihuahua ready to fight a wolf. The bar tender on that night ran over and told him to calm down but then the rest of the night we found out that that bouncer on the clock was the crazy bouncers brother and anyone we tried to make friends with that night wanted nothing to do with us because they're all clicked up and the pos off the clock bouncer was spreading lies. Then my cousins wallet went up and missing and there was nothing on the cameras? Strange....... I wouldn't not go there. They're not good people, and I should know since I go to many dive bars. read more

I had always heard horror stories about this bar as a kid growing up in Fairfield. But now that I have been about 10 times I have to say I really like this bar! Never had a problem, clean and large inside with flat screens from wall to wall, pool table plenty of seating and good service. read more

Great local sports bar. Tons of TVs for watching multiple games and they are always willing to change the channel if your game isn't being shown. A few pool tables, jukebox, hotspot, and poker a couple nights a week. Reasonably priced drinks and never had a problem with any of the other patrons. read more

Yea so, this bar doesn't really cater to the "young" crowd, which may be totally fine for some people, but everytime I set foot into this place I feel dirty! There are ALOT of old, drunk local men and even more old, drunk women. Music is ok... lots of 80's rock (which I really love listening to) but it's really distracting when the old guys are staring at your every move from the bar (ew!). So young, single females BEWARE!!!! So pretty much, the only time I ever come here anymore is to use the ATM machine when I'm next door at Pepperbellys. read more

My rating of Harry's could easily be a 2-2.5 star but there must be some reason that a couple of my friends keep coming back so I've bumped them up a notch (for now). I've stopped in here a few times to meet with some folks and this is what I've noticed... Pros: +The few times I've been here I've never had a problem parking. There's usually street parking nearby and they also have a parking lot in the rear. +Looks like they've got a decent selection of alcohol. +Staff here seem nice enough. +Music selection is usually decent. +A good amount of seating (bar stools and chairs). +Pool table is usually available. Cons: -A lot of TV's but the programming selection seems kind of limited. I actually stopped in here early (before meeting my friends who were getting here a bit later) to watch the Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings basketball game... and they didn't even get the channel! How can you not have a game that features the only two professional basketball teams in Northern California? Oh well. -Cash Only... but they do have an ATM which I've never used. -Is it me or is the whole place lit kind of brightly? Maybe they can dim the lights just a bit and give it an actual bar feel to it. Note: Most of the patrons I've seen there seem to mind their own business but I remember one particular trip there there were at least a couple of shady characters constantly lingering around. Wrap: As long as my friends continue to go here I'm sure I'll make my way back at least a few more times. It just seems like there must be a better alternative around. We'll see! read more

The bartenders are really nice, they have a good selection of drinks to choose from, and there's loads of tv's! They show different games on the screens so it makes it really easy to keep tabs on your teams. The people that go here are friendly. There's 3 pool tables and they have fun karaoke nights that give great entertainment! It's in downtown so if you don't want to eat here you can always go somewhere else that's walking distance. The only con I'd say is the women's bathroom is very small, but overall it's a fun place and would go again! read more

Pros: Inexpensive drinks, tons of tv's, awesome karaoke nights, newly updated pool tables and a good mix of crowd all within walking distance of restaurants in downtown Fairfield. Cons: One tiny stall in the women's bathroom. I love Harry's. My boyfriend and I come here to have a pitcher of beer and play a couple of games of pool all the time. The bartender June is an awesome lady and she makes the best Jack and coke. Came here with a group of friends on a Thursday night not too long ago, got schlammered and sang karaoke with a bunch of beautiful people, inside and out. Really good mix of people that were just there to have a great time. And they have a jukebox that on some days, plays a lot of good music non-stop. I like it..it will be a hangout of mine when in Fairfield..love the row of TV's behind the bar with any type of sport you want to watching playing, only down side is you can get a crick in your neck from looking up at them. I dropped in during the mid day..no one bothered me, left me to my business of eating my sandwich. Drinks were a bit weak for my taste - but I am not a regular so who knows if that is the norm. Yes, it's a dive bar but IMO some of the best people frequent these. I yelped this place while I was in town for a pop warner football game on a Sunday. I was surprised they were open at 10am. I was even more surprised about how many people were at a bar this early. I needed to see my 49ers play so I had zero choice. This place is excellent if your here for football. Especially if you play fantasy football. They have the NFL ticket. A bunch of tv screens with every game available. It was an older crowd. I was probably the youngest person in the building. (Age 28). Everyone seemed relaxed & got along with one another. Assuming it stayed that way after more liquor & more time went on. I only stayed until halftime. I had a pop warner game to attend. Only knock I have at this place is the bar only has all 32 inch tv screens. I didn't taste the food. The cook was making biscuits & gravy considering it was breakfast time. It didn't look at all pleasing. Looked like hog slop in my opinion. I had a couple beers on tap that wasn't at all expensive. $3 apiece I believe. Having all the games available made the experience enjoyable however... They even had a gambling monitor set that I didn't get the opportunity to check out.. I will come again if I'm ever in the area. read more
