This was my first time to hire someone to clean our carpets and ceramic tile floors. I picked Hart's based upon the reviews I read. I discussed our needs with David Hart several times. He was responsive. He came with two vans. They cleaned our 2600 square-foot home in half a day, including carpeted rooms & closets, and rooms with ceramic tile like the kitchen, bathrooms, and central hallway. Two rooms had carpet stains I had not been able to fully spot clean, but their equipment removed them fully. They scrubbed the tile grout and then power cleaned the tiles including the vertical walls in two bathrooms. They worked hard! Made me tired just watching them! Upon completion David presented me with a fair price within the estimated range. It was well worth it. I recommend this business completely, and without reservation! I'd say more like 4.5 stars! An overall good experience! The booking was really easy, the owner answered all my questions fast and I booked my entire cleaning via the Yelp app. Not the priciest quote I got (it was ~$100 with tax) which was nice, and the cleaner was super friendly and very fast (~45 minutes), he even helped me hang it over my railing outside to help it dry! I think the rug looks at least 90% better and I like that there is no odor after cleaning! (which I've read is an issue with some other companies) The rug looks very good, but I'm not entirely sure all of the dirt that could have been removed was removed. Could have just been the lighting in here when he was cleaning, since the area where it's darker is pretty subtle. I think I'm being picky because I can see how well he removed the dirt from the corner (where you can see a spot I cleaned and the dirt ring around it), so I'm just curious if more dirt could have come out of the left side of the rug. Also--this is a white rug--so this issue would probably not even be noticeable on a colored rug. I think some of the urine stains may just be set in there...I've attached pictures of the pee stains (after this cleaning) I was hoping to remove vs what the original carpet looks like in another spot. The smallest amount of odor still remains from them if you get very close. So I'd say if you're trying to get the yellow (& odor) completely out of a white rug, you might be out of luck. read more

Dishonest should be the name of this company. We recently bought a home and the seller gave a receipt from Hart's Steam Cleaning confirming that the carpets were steam cleaned as requested. But as soon as we moved into the house, we smelt a strange odor coming off of the carpets. So we decided to vacuum the carpets again and we were disgusted to find piles of dirt coming off of the carpet from each room. When we contacted the servicing company via email, they confirmed that they had provided the service. In reply, when we asked them for an explanation of why they didn't clean (with pictures), they stopped responding further. Our understanding is that as sellers were out of station, they just paid these guys to get the carpets cleaned, which ofcourse they never did. We finally had to hire a carpet steam cleaner ourselves to get it cleaned. To Mr. David's reply on Jun 13 2022 - "YOU NEVER CONTACTED US AT ALL THEN HOW COULD HAVE YOU OFFERED TO COME BACK AND PROVIDE THE SERVICE???"PLEASE DON'T LIE. Most, of the tile and carpet work they did was ok. All of it however was not. Our master carpet has stains that we inherited with the house. BUT when shampooed or steam cleaned all of the previous times by other companies the stains are lightened for months to the point where only you know where they previously were. Over time they reappear. I used Hart's Steam cleaning after already being signed up to use someone else because their price was less. Huge mistake. I'll not deviate from who we've used in the past again. The stains were unchanged from when they started. No prior spot treating was mentioned and that's always been done successfully in the past with other companies. Some tile areas were missed, which you could see when the light hit the floor just right. No pride in workmanship here, no follow up, just a request to rate them, which I did, reflecting my unhappiness with their work. Left a message asking them to come back out and get the spots out, no return call. Steer well clear of them if you have a few heavily soiled areas or spots like we have. Every other company I've used took great pride in their work and making sure you were completely satisfied with their work. They are NOT the company you want for that. A previous reviewer had the same issue. For a little bit more you can get carpets that almost look new and smell wonderful, along with sparkling tiles. This was not a cheap job and I don't feel they came close to doing the job for the money spent. The photos are AFTER they left and I took them the next day. You tell me if this is what you want your after carpets to look like. I am floored as to how they have such good ratings. Not the experience I had at all. read more
