We rented the place sight unseen (just pics on the internet) since we were moving from out of state. When we showed up with all our belongings and entered the house, I was shocked at the carpet. They swore up, down, left, right and sideways that the carpets had been cleaned. Ummmm, yeah, right. Take a look at the before/after pics. Matt was wonderfully helpful. In addition to the already-there dirt, I know there were some high traffic areas we contributed to, and my husband and I have cats who, well, shed all over the place and one of them "urps" from time to time. Once Matt was done, it was like we had a new carpet. There were only a couple of small stains (there when we moved in) that he couldn't get out. That's OK. I'm still happy as a clam!! I usually use Stanley Steamer until I found Hart's Carpet Cleaning. Stanley Steamer is TOO expensive and very LAZY with their carpet cleaning. I have been getting my carpets cleaned every 6 months for years. Last week, I was fed up with Stanley Steamer so I decided it was time to find a new Carpet Cleaning Service. I researched on Yelp and found Hart's! Hart's Carpet Cleaning is AMAZING! They came to my apartment yesterday. The carpet cleaner's name was Jerry. Jerry was wonderful and very considerate of my small dog as well! Jerry made sure that I was happy and took the time to move around some of my furniture. Stanley Steamer does not do any of that by the way... I have a 2 bedroom apartment (about 1,300sq ft) w/ 2 large closets and a large living room. To clean the carpets in my entire apartment, it was only about $110.00! If I would have went with Stanley Steamer again, I would easily be paying over $300.00! I don't know how or why I did that for a couple of years with them. What a waste of money! My carpets look and smell wonderful! Terrific, fast communication from David on their cleaning process and in scheduling steam cleaning of the carpeting (5 rooms plus stairs) in my home in Pflugerville. He was very patient and informative over the phone and very flexible on setting up a time. What impressed me the most about Hart's -- in addition to all the local recommendations I've read and heard about this company -- was that David reached out with a specific quote right off the bat in one of our first message exchanges. I love that kind of direct, no-BS communication. An accurate estimate of the service cost and a "contact us if you're interested" note. I already knew they were a fair-priced, high quality service provider, so it was just a matter of setting up a time. So Jerry shows up at the house to do the carpet cleaning as scheduled and very patiently explains how he'll proceed to do the work. Very minimal interruption throughout the process and he moved around the house very efficiently -- not missing a spot in any of the designated areas. From requesting a quote to planning for Rudy's arrival, the process and communication was A+. I had 3 rooms and a living room carpet to clean and the price/review combination was the best out of the 4 companies I checked. The cleaning was great, although there was a tiny spot that still had a tiny odor (I have a pet). I'll do a little additional cleaning, but think the service was 99% what I asked for. Okay, so I somehow lucked out and found the best carpet and tile cleaning company in all of Austin! I can't imagine there to be a better team out there than David Hart's. David was punctual, communicative, super friendly, and so very thorough. My carpets look like new and the tiles feel clean and fresh. Some of the tiled floors were previously badly sealed (amateur job), which made the floors look like it had nasty patches of dried up liquid with cat hair stuck on to it. David apologized profusely for taking the extra time to remove the gunk, even though I was just so grateful that he wanted to do a good job. Also, the grout lines had a color sealant (which is really just paint) applied to it. David explained why some of the grout lines may look dirty, when in fact, it is just the color sealant peeling off due to wear and tear. I no longer feel disgusted to walk around the house barefoot and I am loving my house because of their awesome cleaning job. read more

Unbelievable!! Been in this house for 15 years and have the original carpet. We get it cleaned every 1-2 years. Yes it is pretty beat up. 5 kids and cats have taken their toll on it. We have had what I thought were clean carpets, Until today! These guys have done an absolutely astounding job today and have made this carpet look better than anyone thought possible. Looks bright, clean, almost completely dry after 8 hours. Unreal how good it looks. We also had all of our tile done as well. We've never had them professionally cleaned and WOW what a difference. Our ceramic tile grout had not been cleaned in 15+ years and it showed. So I turned to Yelp looking for a reputable company to do the work. Yelp sent my bid to 5 different companies who all responded. Two of them wanted roughly twice what Hart and two other companies wanted. So I called one of the more expensive companies to find out what process they used. The process described was identical to what the less expensive companies used. I actually called another company before Hart. They came out to give measure, give a quote, etc. All things were in order until they weren't. We ran into scheduling issues, bid issues, etc. Then I contacted Hart and every aspect of the process went smoothly. I hired them to come to my house but had to cancel on them 2 hours before my appointment time due to my husband double booking another service for our house. I received carpet cleaning as a gift from my wonderful boss (work anniversary gift that I asked for) and this is the company he hired. Jerry is the gentleman who was our service provider. He was just wonderful and professional! To be honest I was not expecting the carpets to come out as nicely as they did since they were in terrible shape. We first went over the areas that needed cleaning. He asked for any areas that needed special attention. Our stairs were in bad shape, we have two boys under 4 and the carpet on the stairs show it. The cleaning took less than 2 hours, for a set of stairs a hall and 3 bedrooms. Nearly all the spots were cleaned and gone.
