So excited to discover this hidden gem tucked inside Laguna Hills! Located on a beautiful golf course, Harvest offers beautiful views, as well as an extensive menu of elevated Californian cuisine and innovative cocktails. We stopped by spontaneously for a weekend brunch after seeing this spot on social media, and were pleasantly surprised that it 100% lived up to the hype! One of our favorites was the ceviche, which came with a tasty mix of cooked white fish, tomato, peppers, onion and cilantro paired with fresh tortilla chips, and is a refreshing option for a hot summer Californian day. I also surprisingly enjoyed the bone marrow, which was so deeply flavorful without being overwhelmingly rich, and paired beautifully with their freshly roasted bread. Also highly recommend trying their cocktails, especially the French, which comes with a creative spin of raspberry sorbet and brut to pour over. Definitely check out this hidden gem restaurant for innovative and elevated Californian cuisine if you're in Laguna!

Loved this place! The crispy octopus and salad were definitely my favorites, and the pork chop was absolutely amazing--so tender and flavorful. The mac and cheese and burger were okay, but the food overall was great. The outdoor ambiance is lovely, especially during sunset, which made the experience even more special. Our waiter was also so lovely and attentive, and he surprised me with the mousse for my birthday!

I can't believe I never knew about the restaurant. It is right across from Aliso Creek beach up in an area called The Ranch. There's a beautiful golf course situated in the basin of a hilly area -- the views are gorgeous. Across from the pro shop, you'll find Harvest, a beautiful restaurant with indoor, outdoor and bar seating. First, you MUST try their giant cinnamon roll. We got ours with the candied bacon on the side and I'm craving it just thinking about it! Everything we ate was delicious. They even have fantastic coffee drinks too! Shout out to Frank for the fabulous service! I can't wait to come back soon.

This is a really beautiful spot. The restaurant itself feels like a nice slightly upscale type of lodge. The menu is really thoughtful and well put together. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. They mention a lot of locally grown produce items on the menu. The Caesar salad was perfect. The wagyu cheesesteak was more bready than I would have liked, but still good. The homemade chips were fabulous. I would get this just to bring home. The apple and pecan pie were really really good. The burger was absolutely massive. Other than the salads, everyone we were with stated that their food was a bit unseasoned. I suggest putting salt and pepper on the tables, if the goal of the chef is to season foods so lightly. Why not 5 stars?? The service was just okay. Our server was really sweet. She tried hard. Little things were missing, like clearing plates. Offering cream with coffee. Refilling or asking for additional beverages. We had to flag her down a few times with empty glasses that had been there for awhile. The busboys were very helpful once we flagged them. I mention it, because that kind of service doesn't match the prices or the vibe I think they are going for. It is still a lovely place, and we will be back. Note: it's valet only.

Such s peaceful slice of heaven made for a memorable dining experience.

Best kept secret (and serene dining setting) in Laguna Beach! We have been here a couple of times and this place doesn't disappoint. The service is impeccable. On this day, our server Edgar went out of his way to deliver outstanding service. My husband asked for something only on the weekday menu and Edgar made it happen - Bravo! He also suggested one of the juices (the carrot and tumeric) and offered a sample so we could try it first (it was delicious). Awesome! That cinnamon roll is the size of a dinner plate, so we split it 3 ways (could have easily served four). The cream cheese frosting isn't overly sweet, so when paired with the candied bacon and maple syrup, it balances out nicely. Yum! Edgar kept my coffee cup full and made sure we didn't need anything. The ceviche is OUTSTANDING. Light chips, fresh fish, expertly seasoned. The addition of the pickled mustard seeds on top add something unique to the flavor profile, so much so that we were googling how to pickle mustard seeds ourselves. Some of the best ceviche we've ever had (and we've had a lot). Could be spicier, but delicious. So the food and service are great - did I mention the view? Sitting on the patio, you overlook a serene canyon and their golf course, and feel like you're in a completely different space. It's so beautiful, peaceful, open, and lush. I could sit on that patio and eat cinnamon rolls and drink my neverending coffee all day long. The ocean-facing restaurants get all the attention in this town. This hidden gem deserves more attention, for sure.

    Happy Birthday

Great service, love the view. Fresh healthy delicious food, loved the porcini risotto and Cobb salad. It was a very hot day so we appreciated the A/C. It was my birthday and Daniel, our kind waiter brought a yummy chocolate moouse and a birthday card.

Cannot tell you how awesome today's lunch was. The ambience was a 10+ setting in a canyon with the hills of Laguna Beach surrounding you . Our server, Jayne was most accommodating. It was such a fine dining experience. From the valet personnel to the bus boys to the chef, everything was amazing if you want an upscale dining experience this bus the place.

I was so happy with my experience here! Harvest is located on a ranch. There is a hotel where you can stay and a golf course as well. Parking for the golf course and the restaurant is valet only but it is free. I didn't make a reservation to go in but they had lots of tables on a weekday. They have both plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. The indoor vibes are very warm and cozy and the outdoor vibes are nice with the views of the ranch. In the indoor seating, they also have couches and booths. Additionally, they have seating where they have large windows and it also overlooks the ranch! The service here was great. Upon seating they got us started with waters and offered to move heaters next to us since it was a cloudy day. We also got blankets to stay warm. Their food was also really good! We wanted to try the breakfast menu but got there at around 12 (which is when they start serving their lunch menu), but even so, the lunch menu had so many options we wanted to try. The appetizers and starters all sound good, and the servers are really warm and nice introducing the menu. We ordered the french onion soup, wild mushroom pasta, and the baked lobster mac and cheese. They were all delicious! The french onion soup is flavored perfectly and I loved the cheese on top. The wild mushroom pasta was also delicious. The pasta was cooked nicely and the mushroom flavor was strong. The mushroom itself is really soft and not hard at all. The lobster mac and cheese had the perfect ratio of lobster to cheese. I really enjoyed my experience at the restaurant. After finishing food at Harvest, you can walk a little next to the golf course, or take pictures in front of the mountains of the ranch. If you go during the Christmas season, they also have a huge christmas tree outside the restaurant.

TLDR; beautiful restaurant, very attentive staff, and mixed flavor food. The drinks were delicious and perfectly made. The appetizers were good and flavorful especially the bread, cheese board, shrimp cocktail, and croquettes. The onion soup was flavorful and good as well. The salmon wasn't bad but something within the flavor of the sauce it was drenched in made it off putting. The reduction in the braised short rib ruined the meal and the potato pie was more of a leftover hash brown. The scallops were alright but could have been cooked a touch longer which left them a little slimey. The milk and cookies saved the dessert because they were delicious! Get these and do not miss out.

Located inside The Ranch at Laguna Beach, the restaurant oversees the golf course from outside patio. The staff is friendly and kind in preparing celebration for special occasions. The majority of the ingredient comes fresh from its own garden, which you can schedule the tour directly with concierge. Highly recommend the tour to dive deep into its sustainability effort and to get some action at the "chicken theatre". The menu changes seasonally to always have the best ingredients, so you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

In a canyon in Laguna Beach: Simply wonderful atmosphere to have a long, leisurely luncheon with longtime friends. Luckily, We came at a non-busy time. It was so extremely relaxing to enjoy food, wine and conversation at a beautiful restaurant in a canyon of Laguna Beach where we could actually hear each other. The patio setting ideal. Our waiter, Edgar, made us feel so welcome and didn't rush us in any way. That being said, I didn't think the food was overly spectacular. It was very good, truly. I would definitely go there again. Perhaps order that special hamburger that my friend had. She said it was delicious. I had the chicken club sandwich - a great combination of fresh ingredients, just a bit dry. If I ordered again, I'm sure I won't insult the cook by asking for a little extra mayo. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert were perfect. We loved having the actual wine bottle brought to our table so we could see it poured directly from the bottle. Class. And a terrific wine list! See Guy S. review who thoughtfully posted the Wine & Spirit list. : ) Overall it was decent food with superb service in a beautiful setting. Valet parking & a little navigation needed to drive up to find the actual restaurant.

Such a beautiful place, restaurant has an amazing view! The service here is excellent, Sal took care of us, he was friendly funny and professional, recommended a few appetizers and we were very happy with the dining experience! Sangria was really good! Apple pie was fresh and good!

Celebrating at harvest is absolutely the best experience you could have whether it be a birthday or a wedding or an anniversary or just life in general.. It's always better at harvest. We had the most amazing waiter , Sal he gave much personal attention. It was fantastic. A handwritten birthday card was given. The dessert was amazing handwritten chocolate on the plate. The food is so good. It's far a table. They have very seasonal delicious fresh food. The pumpkin gnocchi was so delicious the crispy octopus one of my favorites, the French onion soup, and the butternut squash soup. You must try before they go away. The roasted chicken is one of my favorites and for dessert if you can have the apple pie if you have room left, you must try it it is absolutely out of this world just like grandma would make!

She made the reservation one week in advance. We arrived at 5:00 PM, the restaurant's opening time, and were seated after only a 4-minute wait. The restaurant's interior is exactly the style I love, elegant white décor, high ceilings with stylish lanterns, and beautiful windows and doors offering a gorgeous ocean view. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as a beautiful bar. The moment you sit down, you immediately feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the experience. The food quality was outstanding! The Seafood Platter ($160/small) was absolutely amazing. It included six oysters, chilled prawns, Hokkaido scallop crudo, kampachi crudo, Maine lobster tail, and king crab. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The Charred Octopus ($36) with saganaki sauce, spinach, and parsley cream was a very unique and flavorful dish. The Tableside Horiatiki Salad ($53) was refreshing and beautifully prepared. The Branzino ($62/lb) was absolutely delicious! Since the restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, I knew I had to try the Branzino, and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of the amazing Branzino I enjoyed during my trip to Greece. The Grilled Colorado Lamb Chops ($84) were surprisingly tender and flavorful. The Lemon Roasted Potatoes ($18) were great. For dessert, we tried the Baklava Ice Cream Sundae ($21), which was a very yummy and the Citrus Textures ($19), which was beautifully presented and delicious. For drinks, I ordered the Ares ($30) made with Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila, blood orange liqueur, hibiscus, citrus, and cherry wood smoke. It was a unique cocktail and a great addition to the meal. I have to say, there were no disappointing dishes and everything we ordered was excellent! The service was also outstanding. Our server Julia was friendly, professional, and very attentive. She gave us great recommendations and even surprised me with a complimentary birthday dessert. Her wonderful service truly made our dining experience even more memorable. Overall, I had a fantastic birthday celebration at Studio Mediterranean Montage Laguna Beach. With incredible food, excellent service, and a breathtaking ocean view, it is a perfect place for a special occasion. The price is on the higher end, but the quality and experience are worth it. I highly recommend it for birthdays, anniversaries, or any celebration. I will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends!

WARNING... if you book a reservation for a special celebration for this restaurant, please have a…read morebackup plan as they cancelled my reservation and probably many others just one week before our reservation even though I booked it months in advance. I was hoping to leave a 5 star review because the view, food and service from our server Julia were all amazing and memorable. But I was disappointed in the management of this fine dining restaurant establishment... I booked a reservation for a party of 8 to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. I made the reservation a few months ago. But ONE WEEK BEFORE our reservation I got a missed call and voicemail from the restaurant stating that they cancelled our reservation because of a last minute buyout. I was shocked when I got this voicemail because the dinner was only one week away. So I called them back and asked to move my reservation to the next day. I asked what management was going to do for this last minute change and inconvenience and they told me that management said they would "provide enhancements throughout the evening to make up for this". So we showed up to dinner today and I reminded the front desk what had happened and they had no notes about what happened to us. So I asked them to remind the manager what they told me about providing enhancements throughout our dinner. After a memorable meal and amazing service by Julia, we were so full so we were planning on passing on dessert and asked for the check. We got the check and nothing was compensated for by management. So I asked if we can speak to the manager. The manager came and seemed to have no idea about what had happened to us and was not apologetic at all and didn't seem to really care at all about our last minute cancelled reservation. He said he would check to see what happened and came back and said that they were going to give us free dessert... but we were already done with the our meal and had the check in hand. I said we were full and were planning on passing on dessert and asked what they can do for us. And the only thing he offered was free dessert. We asked if they normally offered free desserts for guests celebrating an anniversary and he said he didn't know that we were celebrating an anniversary, but that they would bring an anniversary dessert out along with other free desserts. So we ended up sticking around and eating tons of free desserts even though we told them we were full and were done. At a fine dining establishment, I would have expected more sympathy and attention from the manager from the start, not at the end of our meal after I had to ask to speak to him. Since the restaurant cancelled our reservation a week before our meal, it would have been nice for the manager to come and acknowledge what had happened once we arrived and provide some "enhancements" throughout our dinner as they promised. Instead, he completely lacked sympathy, didn't acknowledge what happened, was not apologetic, didn't even know what had happened to us, didn't even know we were celebrating my parents anniversary, didn't stop by once on his own before I asked to speak to him, didn't compensate anything from our meal after we said we were done and already had our check in hand, but instead brought out desserts that we didn't really want because we were full and were getting ready to leave. Julia is the saving grace of this restaurant and our meal. We still enjoyed our meal and had an amazing time celebrating my parent's anniversary. We didn't let the apathetic management ruin this special day and meal. Below is the voicemail they left us one week before our reservation date. "Good afternoon, Mr. Choi. I'm calling from montage, you're gonna beach dining reservations. This is in regards to your studio Mediterranean reservation for a party of, um, I'm sorry, uh, 5 PM for a party of 8 on Saturday, September 12. At this time, the restaurant does actually have a buyout, so we do have to relocate all reservations for that day. I'm happy to see if there's anything available at the loft restaurant for you for that same evening, or I'm happy to change the reservation to Sunday, September 13th. Um, at 615 PM. If you can please give us a call on 949-715-6420 once again 949-715-6420. This reservation will be canceled again due to the buyout, but happy to relocate you at the loft or studio Mediterranean, but on Sunday. Thank you so much. We look forward to welcoming you and hearing back from you. Goodbye."

Ceviche - A little on the small side, but super fresh and great flavor :) The location is right on the beach with ocean views and that makes everything better We had a group of 7 and our server was awesome. She was really sweet, kept checking in on us, and made everything easy even with a bigger group. If you're in Laguna and looking for a spot with good food, great views, and a chill vibe, The Deck is always a great choice. There's so many options and haven't had a bad dish here ever. I didn't order them this Time but we normally get the dozen oysters and they are delicious too

No more ciopino so we ordered the ahi poke. Was good. This place is set to close September 7, 2026 to make room for the new hotel setup. So sad to see this place close down as the location and vibe was so nice! Food was ok. Not the best, but okay. And they had a bar too! Byeeee if we don't meet again and thank you!

Let me tell you- the unplanned is always the best! I had been wanting to try it but knowing the other locations had hard parking, and man oh man, one of my favorite meals and so well priced! 1. Red snapper with veggies and mushrooms. Wow! The fish was so full of flavor even before the sauce, well portioned, well priced. And the veggies were filling and cooked to perfection! 2. Fish and chips - have been on a mission to find good fish and chips- the fish was huge, tasty and meaty! Just a bit oily, but still YUMMY! Service: Corrina seriously is the reason I am writing this review! As I was frustrated with the parking situation by the harbor and just tired, she turned around my mood! She was so passionate and joyful about what she does and the food she serves! And she gave us the lowdown on the whole construction situation in Dana point! Thank you for your amazing service!!! Lastly: the inside is so pretty, inviting, and spread out and clean! Def will be back!! Thank you!

The owner served us initially, and he was really friendly and funny. We ordered a bottle of wine, and some cocktails. We put in some salads and an appetizer, they were really really good. But after that, our server (the owner we were told) left, and another server introduced himself. The new server was inattentive. He sat chatting with the other servers at the bar, leaving empty glasses and empty plates on the table. We had to flag him to come back to fill water. Having been myself in the service industry for years, my biggest pet peeve is when servers sit and chat where you can see them, and when they do come, they don't do a sweep and take care of things on the table. We had to put our empty glasses and trash on a side table. It was weird. The bolognese had hardly any meat in it. It was mostly tomato and onion. I've been to Argentina. Meat is a staple. Also weird. We ordered dessert and after waiting for 5-10 minutes, the server came back and told us they were missing crucial ingredients to make it. The owner came back at the end and was really gracious, but all in all, I think the execution was lacking. The service was not great. The food was 3.5/5 I love to support small business, perhaps we will try again another night.

I had talked with the hosts before hand and wanted to drop some decor off before and come back a little early so I could set it up before my sister & her fiancé arrived. I arrived early and they had the table set BEAUTIFULLY! There was a long table right next to the window with white table clothes, flowers and candles all across. I had just dropped off some flowers but they made it look even better. Our server Bryn was the sweetest and cutest girl ever. She was on top of everything even with our large and crazy group The couple got free champagne and desserts, she came out with sparklers and made it such a special night overall. We will for sure be back and definitely will be requesting Bryn!

When we entered the entire bottom floor was empty. Waited a bit and a gentlemen showed up and lead us to the roof top. Beautiful little roof top and place overall. Really clean and chic looking! We waited to be seated for, quite a while. That was the thing. To be seated and have someone take our order, it was a very long amount of time. Awkward standing there while others on the rooftop were sitting, talking and eating. I kept making accidental eye contact to the patrons. When we were seated, it took even longer for someone to come by and get our orders. One of my party members were so frustrated, he stated that we should leave in 4 minutes if no one shows up. Luckily for us, someone did. The girl that served us was a sweetheart. Once she was around she got the ball rolling, made sure that our waters were filled. Let us know when certain dishes were already gone. She was great! No complaints. We got dumplings, bolognese, shrimp scampi and I believe the fried chicken dish. The food was good. I got three large dumplings, and paired with the sour cream. Devine. The bolognese pasta was also wonderfully al dente. Everyone liked their food. You know it's good when everyone doesn't speak. I am conflicted. The servers are nice, the food is really good, but the wait times are atrociously long. It could be because we were one of the last people around closing time, it could be they were understaffed. But it was odd to have a majority of the work staff mostly ignore us. I want to come back here again and try their stuffed cabbage dish, but it will have to be on a day I have nothing but free time.
