Harvey Easton Cafe is one of my go-to coffee shops on Beverly when I want somewhere comfortable and low pressure. The interior has a cozy, lived-in feel with homey furniture that makes it easy to post up with a laptop and stay awhile. It feels more like a neighborhood hangout than a trendy coffee stop, which I appreciate. The coffee is reliably good, and their matcha is a solid choice if you want something other than espresso. Baristas are friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. There is a nice patio out front that is great on mild days, and while there is a gym upstairs, it does not really affect the café vibe downstairs. Experience: There was a seasonal baklava matcha and the barista recommended it, and they were not wrong!! I'm truly no matcha connoisseur, but this is my favorite matcha I've had in LA, the flavors were so unique. It was $10 but it was a large cup and it was fantastic so I'm rationalizing it. I would give this a 3.5 - Four for ambiance, three for drink quality! The lattes are good here but the specialty tea drinks are not great - they taste like cereal milk. Pastries look good! And the seating area, though small, is cute and a good place to meet up with one person (no space for groups bigger than 3). I have more drinks to try but so far, drink quality wise, it's not my favorite. I'll def be back as I'm in the area a lot! read more

Met here with a friend to catch up. Very limited parking and the parking I did find on the street made me nervous that my car was going to get hit. The inside is very cute! Love the cozy, vintage feel and comfy chairs. If you like the non-traditional drink specialties, you will enjoy this spot. I got a lavender tea and with each sip I had to spit out lavender petals. I wish it could have been infused or something because that made it less enjoyable. This is a very popular spot for meet ups and working so be aware that it is not a quiet place which didn't bother me at all. Totally cute place. I have no clue about the pricing. I got a cappuccino and it was 5.48 with tax and tip? It was TINY. I really did love the decor and the coffee was very decent. Counter service was good, although no on me was in there. So I'm not sure how it would be when they are busy. There are many rooms to venture into if you just wanna sit and talk or if you want to focus on work. Really nice ambience with the café type of warm coloring. Definitely an eclectic LA feel. The coffee is a pretty strong. Got the humble Americano black and raw and it served well. A VERY underrated coffee shop/cafe in Los Angeles! With so many options in LA for cafes and coffee shops, it can be hard to find something that truly feels unique and stands out, which is what Harvey Easton Cafe does for me. The space is very distinct - it has high industrial styled ceilings, and yet still manages to feel very homey and cozy inside. There's sofas and arm chairs spaced throughout, and even a little fireplace in a room at the back end of it! I also love the different flavored lattes here - I've tried the lavender and the honey lattes so far and greatly enjoyed both. The flavors are all subtle and soothing, with a sweetness that doesn't overpower the drinks. The service is also very quick and they're always friendly and helpful with any advice on different drinks or other options. I love coming here to do some work now - they have wifi that is always fast, even if it's crowded. I've included them in reels on Instagram and videos about my favorite cozy coffee spots in LA because I think it's a really distinct, unique, and underrated spot! Wonderful spot to grab a coffee and hang around! I came by and tried one of their seasonal specials. I can't remember exactly what it was but it was some early gray lavender vanilla situation with almond milk. Tasted like a light melted ice cream, and it was a great little treat. I brought my journal and sat in the coffee shop for close to two hours. The baristas were all very friendly and there was a variety of seating, though there was not much turnover while I was there so the options were limited. The wifi was reliable though I didn't use it much. Someone sitting nearby was on several video calls and didn't seem to have any issues. That being said, it's not a silent cafe! I sat down after ordering a drink and a food. There were dirty plates and a few dirty spots on the table from previous customers. The server brought my order, I asked him to wipe the table please, and he seemed like he forgot. I waited about 5 mins and went to the kitchen and asked again. I even said I'll do it myself if they're busy if they give me something to wipe the table with so I can start eating my food. The guy seemed busy but the other 2 girls were just standing and chatting and being on their phone. This chubby latina girl came with an attitude, literally said "oh my god" like the table was clean, and after wiping it off once, asked me "is this clean enough for you" and then went back to the kitchen and just started laughing with the other girl. Isn't it a common sense to wipe the table before you serve food? I don't think I was being rude or asked for too much. It was a cute cafe but I lost my appetite after. read more

Loved Harvey Easton Cafe! I stayed here for a few hours to get some work done and appreciated/enjoyed the atmosphere and space as well as my very smooth cold brew. I was running late for an appointment so I came in quite quickly, ordered and raced to the restroom prior to my interview and the woman helping at the counter was super helpful and friendly while I was somewhat of a mess. I appreciated that! The space itself is truly classy. From the leather chairs, mid-century furniture and beautiful green painted walls and doors - you really feel like you are in a classy establishment. There's even a chessboard if you want to drink some coffee (or try one of their yummy looking toasts) and hang out. Would love to return for a more casual (non-working) visit. read more

First of all, the employees are really nice and make great coffee & food. The lavender honey flavored latte was tasty with nice latte art (also good pricing) and served at a perfect temperature. It's very clean (including the bathroom) and I absolutely love the furnishing of the place--the various types of seating (bar stools, couches, tables), the green theme, the plants, and the lights. I also really appreciated the music played (which is at a good volume: not loud); I'm a fan of the 80s and 90s. Additionally, the WiFi is fast and there are also outlets for charging.
