The person on the phone listened very carefully to my needs and even though they didn't carry any dishwashers in my price range, she recommended other brands she knew were higher quality and where I could get them. We searched a lot of stores and reviews to find a reliable replacement for our Jenn-air range. Sales associate Dustin L was very helpful and so we decided on a Bosch induction range. It came to their warehouse almost a week earlier than they expected and was installed the following Monday. Mick did a super job on the installation, going above and beyond. He even cut a piece of Masonite to cover the vent hole in the wall that the Jenn-air used. This range is deeper than the prior one, so with my approval he knocked out the 2-inch piece of granite at the back. This made the range fit just right. I'll definitely use Harway again! read more

Awesome, fantastic, wonderful, what ever best adjective I can use, still will not define the experience we had at Harway Appliances in Austin Texas. Zach Slusher was amazing and took care of all our appliance issues. I told him that I wanted the best of everything on a poor man's budget and he treated us like royalty. He gave us great deals on everything and kept throwing better deals at us. He stayed the course all the way through our new home construction process and was an absolute gem to work with. Not to mention that he looks and sounds just like Eric Church, which is hilarious. I have referred more people to Harway not because of the fantastic appliances they sell, but due to Zach!!!! I have to admit to being disappointed by the service at Harway. The showroom is beautiful and the salesman was very informative. But, we were given an expected delivery date that was far from our purchase date. We accepted that, given the current demand. But, after hiring an installation company, we were just told last week that it will be another two months before we can get our oven. No suggestion for options (except after I had to ask), no alternatives. Just, sorry, you have to wait. Makes me wonder if my oven went to another, more important customer? Or, do they just not have any pull (or take the time to exert any influence) with the manufacturer? Maybe I should just have bought from Lowes (they say it's in stock) or Home Depot (who say they can have it in three weeks)? Actually, I'll add to my first sentence. I'm also frustrated and angry with Harway for their lack of support or concern for their customer! read more

I just spent $5K for a wall oven at Harway Appliances and had a very unsatisfactory experience. First, they really need to improve their communications. When I said I wanted to order the oven (it was not in stock), they sent me a quote including delivery and installation. I thought, great, I am all set. Then silence. When I reached out, the oven had arrived, but they didn't tell me. Then they tried to schedule delivery and installation. Before we actually got it scheduled, I was asked about the cabinet. Through long email exchanges, I found out that the oven I ordered (a 30 inch gas oven) was smaller than my old 30" gas oven and the Harway's would not be able to handle that. They did recommend Oby's installation service, who then recommended a good carpenter. In the end, I hired the carpenter, then the installation company, because Harway's could not handle it. Apparently, one of the first failures was they should have sent me the specification to the oven I was interested in and asked me up front to check the size. That happened just before I was SUPPOSED to have it delivered and installed by Harway's. I ended up needing to spend an additional $700 + dollars to get it installed. Because Harway's failed to set reasonable expectations until the oven was about to be "installed" per our original agreement.... I consider this to have been a VERY UNSATISFACTORY experience. read more

At an age where customer service comes up short, the team at Harway continues to lead with a customer first approach. Almost 10 years ago we used Harway for a residential custom home build where we were completely satisfied. We recently downsized and used them for a simple washer and dryer set. It would make sense that this job would not be at the top of the priority list for a high end appliance store. But the process, care and attention to this small order was exactly the same. As a matter of fact the team went above and beyond. I forget the names, but the female who assisted on the phone was amazing. She ensured the delivery was on time prior to a holiday and updated me along the way. The installers even noticed that our stove set and dishwasher (which we did not purchase from Harway) were not properly installed so they stabilized them as a courtesy. I hope the employees at Harway read these reviews and know they are appreciated! read more

I was skeptical about whether or not anything would really be done to remedy the situation, but he came through for me--which I really appreciate. From answering all my questions and helping me pick the best appliances for my project (all of which I could actually see in their beautiful showroom) to giving me by far the best prices in town on my appliances to doing a wonderful job with my not-so-straightforward installation - they were terrific from start to finish. I have been waiting for several months to write this review and now give them 5 stars...because, what started out as miscommunication. And me struggling to work through the high emotions and expectations of building a new house, Harway met, and surpassed my expectations. They built, delivered and installed a beautiful front door. My appliance package was top notch and I was able to take advantage of the buy one get one (which was offered by all other competitors I visited but not with the attention that Harway gave me).. I can't forsee getting anything else in the near future that appliance companies provide, but if I do,I will go to Harway. read more

Thank you Harway! My husband and I were in need of a new dishwasher. This is not what we look forward to, both time and money could be used in a different manner. BUT after washing dishes by hand, I was ready to "throw in the towel". We googled BOSCH dealers, which led us to Harway. Courtney Zavras welcomed us at the door. We were pleased that she knew her products. Even though we were satisfied with the price, my husband loves to compare shop. We gave Courtney our contact information before we left. She helped us remain comfortable and respected as potential buyers. We took a few days to decide. I was pleased Courtney did not try to contact us while we were deciding. We checked out Best Buy, Home Depot and Sears and were surprised that Harway's price was substantially lower. Even if Harway would have been a little higher, we had decided to trade with Harway because of their high quality service offered. Our unit was installed by 2 knowledgeable, conscientious young men. Arnold and Tanner made sure the install was perfect before they left. Not only was Harway's price lower, we qualified for a rebate. Bosch does not offer this rebate if the buyer buys it from Lowe's or Sear's. So, that was a surprise bonus to us. Hopefully we are set for awhile with our appliances BUT, when I need a replacement I definitely will return to Harway. read more

We spent in excess of $30k in SubZero, Wolf and Bosh appliances with Harway. When we noticed the hood was not working Harway just passed the buck. We wasted 5+ weeks asking them to help fix this and they insisted this was fine, yet they never came to inspect their work. They said get a 2nd opinion, so I contacted SubZero/Wolf who got their best installer in Austin to review Harway's work. They discovered Harway had numerous errors in their installation. Their work was not to code! After Sub Zero / Wolf fixed the issues, Harway would not even acknowledge their mistake or apologize for the inconvenience they caused us. My customer experience with them was the worst that I have ever dealt with in my life. They broke every basic rule of customer support. On a separate note SubZero/Wolf appliances and the company are the best, they stand by their product, customers and fixed Harway's gross mistakes without asking for a single penny. Happy to share my exchanges with Harway with you so that you do not have to suffer the painful experience we have been through with them. read more
