Definitely pains me to give this review but the quality is going downhill fast. I've loved Hash Kitchen for the past few years and when the 83rd and Bell location opened, I was elated. I've been to this location about 5-6 times and each experience gets worse and worse. More the food quality. I had the Dr. Art Molen (Probably wrong spelling lol) Scramble today and all the veggies were hard. The pancake was rubbery and not flavorful. Also portion sizes have steadily declined. The menu used to be a lot more fun and experimental and now it's just a mix of random things that don't go together. Awful awful and I'm so sad about it. We took my daughter here to celebrate her birthday. She was so excited to come. It took over an hour to get our food, even over 30 minutes to order our drinks. It was so bad. They forgot half of it. It was over cooked. The eggs were cold, the pancakes were hard. There was a hair in the syrup. Just bad and so disappointing. Absolutely not worth $150. I wanted to share feedback about my recent visit to this restaurant, as the service we received was extremely disappointing. Our waitress Loralai appeared to have no energy or enthusiasm during our visit, and we only saw her twice throughout the entire meal. From the start, we had no silverware and had to go to the front multiple times just to get basic service. She never offered drink refills or checked in to see if we needed anything. To make matters worse, food items were missing from our order, and we had to ask another waiter to help us since our waitress was nowhere to be found. At the end of the meal, she never came by with the check, so we ended up paying through the QR code on the table. She finally reappeared just to take the plates--without an apology, any acknowledgment of the poor service, or even asking how the food was. This was by far the worst service I've ever had. I felt uncomfortable not leaving a tip, but honestly, the service didn't deserve one. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I would like to see improvements made so guests in the future don't have the same experience. read more

I went to Hash kitchen with one of my friends for breakfast. I've been wanting to try it for a while, but never had a chance till now. We started with the cannoli donuts and they were ridiculous, so good. then we both got the fried chicken Benedict, which was also quite amazing. The service was pretty good too. I will for sure. This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. Had no clue it was such a fun experience- DJ and great service along with a BYO Bloody Mary bar (self serve!) that can be its own meal! I had such high hopes for this place. My partner and I love brunch. We're kind of "brunch snobs". But this place did not live up to the hype. 1. Out server was kind of rude, it wasn't until after they were closing that she had a little more pep in her step. I get it, I'm a server.. I get tired too but that never makes it ok to be rude to my tables. 2. It was 95 degrees outside and they had all of the doors open and multiple guests were complaining about how hot it was. I was told "they're doing the best we can" like no. Close the door and crank up the AC, it's not rocket science. Having the doors open while having the AC going on a hot day doesn't cool the place down. 3. The server gave my partner a margarita with no salt on the rim. Didn't even ask if she wanted anything on the rim. And when we looked for her to ask for a cup with salt on the rim, she was nowhere to be found. Which was a common occurrence, she just kept disappearing for long periods of time. 4. Our food kept getting made wrong, our app was supposed to have hollandaise in the side but apparently they put it on so they had to remake it so that took forever. Our eggs were not cooked right. They cooked poached eggs until they were hard, basically gave us hard boiled eggs. And lastly, the food wasn't that great, doesn't have a lot of flavor. Just overall not a good experience. I went here with my friend. My experience was great but hers wasn't. It started when we asked 3 different servers for our Welcome to the Jungle bags. When they arrived, the portions were not the same (see picture). We get the bags aren't filled to the top but you'd expect the same amount, right? Next, when our food arrived, my friend's poached eggs of her eggs Benedict were hard boiled. We told the server and she brought two new eggs and extra hollandaise sauce. Very nice, however the new eggs were soaked in water. Then, we were making friends with the people sitting next to us and talking about how great our experience was last year and how we were confused why it was so different this year. A bartender overheard us, interrupted our conversation to add her opinion/facts that weren't even relevant to what we were talking about. Maybe she just didn't hear us right? Overall, the atmosphere is super fun with a great vibe. Food and drink presentation is mostly awesome. I think we might have just got unlucky but none the less, it didn't start my friends day off with a bang like we were hoping for. The music is so loud it's hard to even talk and outside smelled like strong sewer gas so that was not a great way to start breakfast. Service started out great and pleasant how ever turned quickly into neglect after we placed our order. First dish came out good but waited over 15 minutes for the next to arrive so we couldn't eat together. It wasn't very busy so I don't understand the lack of service. Our server was very nice just absent most of the time. Then pointing out a code on the table to scan and pay the bill? Could customer service be reduced any further? First and last visit for sure!! Everything about this place is awesome! First, they have DJ. That's amazing. If you don't like loud music for breakfast then this might not be the place for you. Second, there's a massive Bloody Mary bar! I think we made a mistake getting a regular meal after that because the fixings were so filling! We had the Bread Pudding French Toast Sticks and the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash potatoes on the first trip. The French toast came with a creamy crème brûlée that really made the dish. The biscuits and gravy were great when mixed with the potatoes and some hot sauce. We definitely took home leftovers. Everyone was very helpful and the staff was really nice. I didn't get my coffee on that first trip but didn't correct it because I was so full. On the second trip I wanted to order the French Press coffee for two of us. They said you're not allowed to share! We ordered the Holiday Ham Hash and the Elote Benedict. We highly recommend both! The two stars are because the waitress was sweet and the gluten free waffle was excellent (most gluten free stuff is not great). The rest of the experience was terrible. I've eaten at other Hash Kitchen locations and enjoyed my meal so it made sense to eat at this location. I was wrong. So so wrong. First, service was slow. They were just finishing up the brunch rush and lots of people were leaving as we came in. So the slow service didn't make sense. Our daughter's food came out before the other meals. She was 95% finished with her food before ours even came. The floor manager came over while we were waiting and didn't even acknowledge that 2/3rds of the food was missing from our table. He had zero clue that there was an issue. In the meantime, people who ordered after us got their food. When our food came, the majority of it was bland (maybe they ran out of salt in the kitchen?) and it was cold. My chicken was overcooked and dry. It was clear that our food had sat under the heat lamp for a minute. We had to ask for refills on iced tea when we saw our waitress instead of it being an automatic. And the sightings of our waitress were like hunting for Sasquatch even when there were only about 8 tables occupied. It was also odd that it took forever for us to pay our bill to the point that it felt like they knew we shouldn't pay. I apologized profusely to my family for such a big error in judgement. Obviously there was a wait, took 20 to get our drinks non alcoholic. Took another hour to get our food only had two meals. The server then spilled food all over on accident. The manager did comp the meal but had an attitude about it. She then blamed the kitchen on the long wait. Will NEVER visit this restaurant again. The manager seemed mad at us that we were unhappy. Well well well. I finally made it here to check it out. The menu looked so good. I just had to try. I came in on a Saturday around 9:30am. I sat at the bar , open seating and not a wait at all. Heck yeah! I got the Birria Hash. I added their fried leeks to get a different texture. It was so good. The meat was full of flavor, presentation was spot on and temperature was right. I did my happy dance before I even started to eat!!! The potatoes were also tasty. I had to try a Mimosa. The Blueberry was good. Not sure if it was fresh berries or a syrup. I will be back for sure to try many other things. Service was good not too slow and not to fast. As, I did need time to look over my menu and decide. The place looked clean and smelled delicious!!!!! I stopped in for breakfast with my husband a few days ago for my birthday. We were able to be seated right away, which was nice. The place seemed very clean and upbeat. The waitress was nice but at the end it did take a really long time to get the final bill so we could leave. I think she was also running the bar area and there was a very talkative guy sitting there so it was hard for her to get away. My husband and I opted to try the billionaire bacon which was good, but a little dry and overcooked. The main dishes were good. I opted for the Lox Salmon and my husband got the Elote Benedict. We both cleaned our plates. The biscuit on mine was delicious. The hash on the side was a little on the bland side and a little overcooked, but aside from that it was good.
