I stopped in for breakfast with my husband a few days ago for my birthday. We were able to be seated right away, which was nice. The place seemed very clean and upbeat. The waitress was nice but at the end it did take a really long time to get the final bill so we could leave. I think she was also running the bar area and there was a very talkative guy sitting there so it was hard for her to get away. My husband and I opted to try the billionaire bacon which was good, but a little dry and overcooked. The main dishes were good. I opted for the Lox Salmon and my husband got the Elote Benedict. We both cleaned our plates. The biscuit on mine was delicious. The hash on the side was a little on the bland side and a little overcooked, but aside from that it was good. You could tell the big sellers here are the breakfast cocktails though. Maybe we will try one next time. read more

We decided to forgo a free breakfast at our hotel and find a nice spot for a Sunday morning meal. I had heard from a friend that Hash Kitchen had good food so I talked my wife into giving it a try since it was a short walk away. I should have read the reviews... I grew up in the 60's and love deafening music. It's great!! However, loud thumping bass cranked way too high is not really what I need on a leisurely Sunday morning. We were seated promptly as there were plenty of open tables. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other. Granted, we grew up in the 60's so our hearing isn't what it should be, but this was insanely loud. The server arrived promptly and I asked if the music could be turned down so we could talk and she assured me that management refused to adjust the sound level for anyone and that they were quite proud of it. It was what distinguished their restaurant from others. For the first time in forever we got up and left without ordering. At the desk they told us we could sit outside on the patio where it would be less noisy. Yeah, like I want to sit outside in Phoenix in August. I called my friend who had recommended the place and he told me he never went there anymore because the music is so loud you can't talk. I was really looking forward to the birria hash so I was pretty disappointed. But we went elsewhere and had a lovely time eating, chatting, and enjoying background music from the sixties. read more

This place was DELICIOUS! First off the restaurant is too cute when you walk in. Giving party brunch vibes but kid friendly. We ordered the best freaking birria hash, soufflé pancake, mimosa flight (there was glitter!!), and the cannoli donuts to take home (we were stuffed). To say the food was good is an understatement. Moved out of state a few years ago and am back in AZ to visit family and friends. After a two hour gym session, I headed to Hash Kitchen with my kiddos. The food was delicious. Since I don't eat meat, I ordered the avocado toast and it was tasty. My kids had the biscuits and gravy and the scrambler. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. What a great atmosphere and such a unique restaurant concept. Yes, the music is loud but there is outdoor seating available. Let me just say, this was not the same experience as I've had with afternoon tea in London... but it's not meant to either. Sadly, I did not get an opportunity to hit up, The Mexicano during this visit but I will make sure to next time. Love going during the weekends at night too...so fun! I'm hoping Hash Kitchen and The Mexicano make their way to the East Coast...(hint...Charlotte, NC....) as I've seen other AZ based restaurants pop up there. read more

Be prepared to wait if you have a large party! But it's worth it. They have a shaded seating area out front and they put out a big pitcher of ice water for people waiting. There is a DJ inside so it's a loud environment. We sat outside where there was plenty of shade and misters going. The food was pretty good and the mimosas are 10/10. Such a nice spot for a fancy brunch. We got a seat at the bar almost 20 minutes before a table was ready because the hostesses were just on top of it. As for the food, you get big portions that are delicious. We got the fried chicken eggs Benedict and a hash plate. A little expensive for a daily lunch but perfect for the experience. read more

Hash Kitchen is one of my go-to brunch spots and I almost exclusively eat at the Chandler location. This time for girls day we decided to go to the Arrowhead location because of proximity. What I like about this location is that it didn't feel cramped or crowded and while they had a DJ, I could hear without screaming to be heard, which allowed for conversation with everyone at the table. Parking is a little scarce if you want to be right in front of the place so be prepared to walk or just Uber or get dropped off. We arrived at 9:45 because we were unable to get on the waitlist 2 hours before our planned arrival time of 10am. We were told it was a 35 minute wait. Despite having 3 of the 4 in our party at the restaurant, we were told we couldn't be seated until everyone had arrived and ended up being sat at 11:20am. (We were told this was by policy but I've shown up with parties of 8 and had people show up with only half the party there, but maybe this differs by location or is new). We elected to stay because none of us drove and we didn't want to leave while we had someone en route. After we got sat, we were served quickly and ordered our mimosas. I have become known for getting the Mega Glitter Bomb Mimosa because it basically the same amount of liquid as a flight BUT you get glittery cotton candy, a pinwheel (to add to my crown I'm making) and a comically large glass! I recommend the Peach as the flavor of choice. They do allow you to pour your own drink so whatever happens, happens. This was my first time trying the Potato Tacos! They are 4 deep fried tacos made with mashed potatoes and severed with your choice of eggs! Top notch! The only thing it needs is a little hot sauce for spice and it is perfect! And you can't go wrong with a cannoli or a donut so having them in one is a no brainer. All in all, it was a decent experience. Not sure the next time I will be back but I did enjoy myself and the music selection by the DJ! read more

The wait in Peoria is much better than the wait at the Glendale location. Service was good. Music good. Great vibes all around to enjoy brunch with the family. Everyone's food was great except the Açaí bowls ehh, definitely pass on that. The bacon is good but not mind blowing and especially not for $8 for one piece. Crepes excellent. Went here with my boyfriend for lunch and after after getting seated, no one had come to our table to take our order for nearly 20 minute, BUT after getting a server's attention they offered our entire meal for FREE to compensate!! I loved my almond milk caramel latte, the mimosa drinks were sparkling, my avocado toast was delicious, i had mushrooms put on it in place of the pork, and zucchini in place of the egg. The reviews really arent.... truthful. The wait was longish, but we got sat within 40 mins. Once we were sat our server greeted us, but took 5 mins to bring out waters, then left again and took our drink orders and didnt come back for another 10 mins.... She was sweet, but just soooo slow. We ordered orange juice, pineapple juice and apple juice. juices arent freshly squeezed so i dont know why the prices are so high. My pineapple juice was kind of warm, but good. Let me start off by saying that the food took perhaps 20ish mins, and one food item was incorrect: what we ordered: Huevos Rancheros Hash: beef was dry, dish was salty, and not flavorful chilaquiles: rojos y verdes: for the chilaquiles rojos with tinga: Chicken was mad dry, the salsa wasnt good. chilaquiles verdes with pork carnitas: order came out wrong so they had to restart it, but the salsa was soooooooo sweet and the pork was dry. chilaquiles verdes with birria: birria was tasteless and dry. pancakes: my boyfriend said they were so dry, and thick. i thought they were fine but nothing great. we ordered two sides of over medium egg and potatoes: these sides were so good and perhaps the only thing they did right.
