I was honestly shocked how poor the service and food quality was. Our server seemed tired, bothered, annoyed, too busy to remember to talk to us, etc. Our food was dropped off in a rather aggressive manor by equally unhappy people. Sadly, the food was atrocious. The shrimp and grits is an embarrassment and far from what real shrimp and grits are. Shrimp was extremely over cooked and the dish lacked flavor. The pancakes were cold, eggs were gross & seemed like they were sitting around for awhile and my friends hash was missing half of the ingredients. The only positive was the Bloody Mary bar. That was a very nice set up and fun to hike your own. I know a lot of people don't like the loud music but our visit it wasn't too loud. I just don't think it's worth it to go back with how long the wait is, how bad the service was and the food being close to inedible. In fact we drove through a bagel spot after :/ so unfortunate. We were excited to experience while in town for the first time. When we first walked in we had to wait as the hostess was on the phone for a bit and several servers just passed us by. Once we finally got sat we then sat for a good 10 min before we then had to ask the hostess for our server after she sat someone else as no one even acknowledged we were there or brought us water. I have been to this Hash Kitchen on two separate occasions and both times the customer service was extremely poor and even a joke! We dined in on Easter Sunday last year and also for brunch last Fall. Both visits were early in the morning and before the crowd hit. We had very young servers (both seemed college age) and after taking our drink order and food orders went back to the hostess stand to chat with colleagues and put their faces in their phones. This normally doesn't bother me but when we have to wait over five minutes for water refills, this becomes a problem. Both times the servers did not seem like they wanted to be there to work.. We wanted extra salsa and hot sauce for my Corn Beef Hash but couldn't find the server after the food was dropped off. It was almost as if they were dodging our table! Very unprofessional, rude, and definitely makes for a bad overall experience. On a positive note, their Bloody Mary Bar on the weekends is very cool and you are able to garnish your own Bloody Mary (photo attached). Probably the best brunch meal I've had in a while. I came on a Tuesday so my group of six was able to get seated immediately. Our waitress was extremely patient and answered all of our questions. All the staff seem like they have been there for awhile, so they are very knowledgeable and kind! Upon a recent visit to Scottsdale, we found this spot down the road from where we were staying and I'm glad we did. I was craving something gooey, savory and satisfying. Lo and behold, I found the egg and bacon mini everything bagel sliders. The eggs were fried over easy, so the yolk created this rich sauce to go with the toasted bagel and crispy salty bacon. I was seated by my hostess right away. I ordered the Mimosa Flight, which comes with four different flavors: Berry, Pineapple, Strawberry, and Classic. I loved the Strawberry, Berry, and Pineapple. However, the classic tasted bitter. They have so many different options of foods to choose from. However, you can't go wrong with a hash. I ordered the Huevos Racheros with Pulled Chicken and Avocado. This came in hot in a skillet. I took my knife and cut right through the fried egg. The gooey goodness ran around my potatoes. I cut through it again and found the pulled chicken. I can't explain the sensation that my mouth was experiencing, but I'll definitely be back for more. Next time for something sweet. Had one taco out of four... server was kind enough to remove it from the tab - in all fairness. The brisket hash lacks flavor and the potatoes also get super soggy quickly from the excessive sauce on the plate but yet it tasted bland. The huevos rancheros hash was good so I'm told!
