We stopped in for breakfast this morning and chose to dine inside since it was already too warm to enjoy their very nice patio. The service was friendly, and one thing that stood out was the generous portion sizes. I ordered the Classic breakfast with three eggs over medium, bacon, hash browns, and a pancake. There was certainly plenty of food on the plate. Unfortunately, the meal itself was fairly unremarkable. Everything was prepared adequately, but nothing really stood out in terms of flavor or quality. It was a decent breakfast that filled us up, but not one that left a lasting impression. We went here for a family brunch around 11:30 AM on a Sunday, and as expected, it was packed which honestly is always a good sign. The space is beautiful, with a great indoor-outdoor ceiling patio vibe. Typically there's a 30-40 minute wait during peak brunch hours, so plan accordingly. We were seated on the outdoor patio, and Arizona winter weather makes it absolutely perfect to sit outside. It's also dog-friendly, which is a big plus. The menu is very diverse - everything from beers and cocktails to coffee, tea, juices, and a wide variety of eggs, pancakes, and classic brunch plates. A true breakfast-brunch spot with something for everyone. There were four of us, and we ordered the Protein Trio, Snooze Classic, Spuds Deluxe, Veggie Mashup, two Super Green Juices, and a cappuccino. Everything was flavorful and well-portioned. Our bill came out to about $87 before tip. It's slightly on the pricier side, but given the location in Old Town Scottsdale and how popular the place is, it makes sense. LOVE Snooze! As a breakfast girl who is also Gluten Free, I am not sure I could possibly find a better choice of restaurants. With our group of four, nobody complained about the gluten-free pancakes. They are so good they taste like regular pancakes. We had the cinnamon, toffee, and strawberry shortcake pancake flight today and one was better than the next, I cannot pick a favorite. Everyone enjoyed their meals today. Four adults and one toddler. I had a bowl with scrambled eggs, crumbled sausage, bacon, and a side salad. It was very good and filling, especially since I had a few bites of the pancakes as well. Four of us shared the pancakes and we still were not able to finish them all. I have been to this restaurant several times, can't believe I have not given them a review before. Absolutely love the retro vibe. The booths are very comfortable. They also have outdoor seating available. Although they do not take reservations, you can check in online and get on their waitlist or to find out how long the wait is. The reviewers were right- this is a great breakfast spot! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is a covered and heated patio. The French toast was very good, as was the special bacon, I really liked the spicy sweet rub on it. Snooze has become one of my must-visit spots whenever I'm in town. I've been coming here for the last three years, and it continues to be one of my favorite brunch spots. This visit, we ordered the OMG! French Toast, the Habanero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice, an Espresso Martini, and the Mmm Mmm Mimosa. The OMG! French Toast definitely lived up to its name. The mascarpone cream, salted caramel, fresh strawberries, and toasted coconut created the perfect combination of flavors. It was rich without being overly sweet and easily one of the best French toast dishes I've had. The Habanero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice was the standout of the meal. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, and the combination of jasmine-garlic fried rice, peppers, onions, pineapple, kimchi spice, and sriracha maple aioli created an amazing balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. The sunny-side-up eggs brought everything together perfectly. The Espresso Martini was one of my favorite parts of the meal. It was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with a rich espresso flavor without being overly sweet. It had just the right amount of coffee flavor and was the perfect brunch cocktail. I would absolutely order it again on my next visit. My husband ordered the Mmm Mmm Mimosa. He thought it was decent, but he tends to prefer a more traditional mimosa, so the pomegranate twist just wasn't really his thing. As always, the service was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the food keeps us coming back year after year. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend the OMG! Snooze is my go-to for breakfast tacos, and they can do all their super sweet pancakes gluten-friendly. It's an easy spot for friend brunch, or to take a whole family with a variety of taste preferences and dietary needs. There's often a wait on weekends, but it's not bad during the week. This location is bustling and bright, with helpful and knowledgeable staff. My kiddos love their cocoa, which often comes piled high with whipped cream. It would be a shame not to shout out their breakfast cocktails, which for me are 10/10! This last trip we got the seasonal GF pumpkin pancake and it was sooo tasty! Very strong on pecan and cream cheese flavors, and very mild on the pumpkin (couldn't really taste it) but my friend and I loved it! Decided to try this place after many years of absence lol. I don't typically love breakfast food, and I sort of despise brunch places because they can be ridiculously overhyped. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience here. My only qualm was that the wait was close to 45 minutes. It was refreshing to see a place that has modern twist on classic favorites, and they actually taste good. I have to emphasize that each dish truly had flavor which is not my experience when it comes to breakfast foods. The burrito was smothered, and the green chili flavor was quite pronounced, but not spicy. I loved the fresh pico de gallo on top. My garden omelette came with a dollop of a flavored cream cheese of some kind and the creaminess and flavor of that really just brought the dish together. Highly recommend that one especially if you're looking for a lighter option but not sacrificing flavor. hashbrowns were cooked well, I was very entertained that they came out in the shape they did I think we paid $50 for everything because we each got a beverage also, but I would probably go back... If the wait was significantly less. It's definitely a contender on my list for breakfast foods now. read more

Snooze is such a fun spot and a Phoenix staple! My family and I met here for brunch on the patio and had a great time. The patio was spacious and completely covered, making it nice and shady. The menu is huge! I usually keep breakfast pretty simple and went with the breakfast sandwich. Its served on a pretzel bun with a side of hollandaise. I really enjoyed it! I also liked the side of hashbrowns it comes with. I wish we got to try more of the sweeter menu items, but my 1 year old seemed to enjoy the pancakes! We always love eating at snooze! The juices cannot be beat, so fresh and delicious. Love the pancake flight all so good However, I'm looking forward to a new waiting section for people waiting for tables. People are allowed to get drinks from the bar while they wait for their table. However, they cannot stand at the bar or inside the restaurant and they cannot take their drinks off the property. It literally forces them to be hovering over the tables outside while we're trying to enjoy our breakfast. The Manager did her best with a large group, but with this policy, it's just uncomfortable for everybody. read more

Portions are generous, they give a generous portion of protein with each dish. I got a decent amount for my corned beef hash :) Pancake flight was FLUFFY with a good variety of types. Most importantly, their foods are overall FLAVORFUL without being oily. I personally love their breakfast burrito. I also love that you can customize so many of the breakfast options here. Their drinks, however, are on the more, lighter tasting subtle side. I've tried the matcha latte and lavender latte. They have a cute patio for an outdoor option, service was decent but can be a little hit or miss when it's busy, which is understandable. Weekends especially, beware of crowds and long waits. Great service and consistent quality of good. Gina's service was lovely and it is always great to pop in here. Appreciate options for modification. I do wish they would add a couple lunch like options to the menu. Bartenders are warm and friendly. My only suggestion would be more attention to hygiene. One young lady bartender who I won't name drank from her beverage behind the bar several times, wiped her face with the back of her hand and sweatshirt several times, then proceeded to making beverages (not mine) without washing her hands. I'm guessing from her disposition that she's having a rough morning. Her hoodie was off the shoulder and appeared to need washing. I totally understand she may be having a bad day but unsettling to have her handling food and drink. Other staff observed this and seemed mostly to be comforting her. I love their loyalty to their friends, just not at the expense of hygiene. I'd suggest attending to this more closely. Otherwise I still think the staff and location are worth five stars since was an exception. Many regulars return here which speaks volumes :) read more

Amazing experience yet again. I come here at least once a month (trying to come more) and every time I feel like I'm in heaven. My waiters/waitresses are always checking on me and meet my every request and not to mention, are extremely friendly. I came in today with no wait time, but usually I come when it's busy. It's super helpful to use the app to join the waitlist! Trust me! The food: first time ordering the Snooze Classic (shocker) but it was very good. They have local business Noble bread which is elite. Their chicken patty is seasoned with something.. tastes 10x better than the overly processed ones at other places. House coffee is good too, not sure the notes but it's not as "burnt" as other diners I've been too. Even with the pancake being protein-based, it doesn't lose its flavor and the berries on top complement it well. Ambiance: Quieter today, as I said and always clean. I've never come in and thought they couldn't handle the business they receive. My waitress was Cinthia who was very kind to me. We had a late flight on a Tuesday and no breakfast plans so we walked to the Commons from our resort. I found Snooze on Yelp and the menu looked amazing, so we headed over. It was busier than I had anticipated, but they were able to get us in within 15 min for a group of 7. We were sat at one of the round booth type tables - it was tight (and we were asked if this was okay!) but we put a chair at one end and it worked out just fine. Dani (sp?) was our server and she was great. Attentive and very nice. Food came out in a reasonable time, no long wait. Everyone enjoyed their food - they have unique options and I LOVE a unique breakfast. I got the Habanero Fried Rice and OMG. A.M.azing! I couldn't eat it all, so my husband cleaned my plate after he at all his Bravacado lol Portions are generous. Everything tasted fresh and hot. Would recommend and would return. We tried a new spot for breakfast and loved it. Snooze is conveniently located in Kierwood Shopping Center. When you walk in you're greeted by the bright yellow lighting and decor which gave us an uplifting vibe. We ordered from a special promotional menu which consisted of choosing a fresh juice and an entree for $12.00. We ordered green juices, bra avocado bread with scrambled egg and a breakfast berry yogurt bowl. The Bravocado had an ample amount of avocado spread with a delicious hot honey red onion jam and roasted tomatoes. They served it was a spinach salad that had spiced pepitas and a mustard vinaigrette. The yogurt bowl was full of Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and bananas. Hemp seed was drizzled on top. A large slice of wheat bread with peanut butter topped with Maldon salt accompanied the meal. Both entrees were delicious and healthy! Bountiful Buddha Bowl: roasted Cauliflower florets, sautéed asparagus, red onions, mushrooms and sweet potatoes atop pistou dressed farro, black rice, quinoa, kale, and golden raisins. Topped with goat cheese, spiced pepitas, avocado, pickled red onions, and Maldon salt (4/5). This was very healthy and flavorful. All the ingredients worked well together and tasted fresh! Corned Beef Hash: signature shredded dry-rubbed corned beef, carmelized pablanos and onions, served with two cage-free eggs and served with choice of toast or tortillas (4/5). Very solid dish and very delicious! I swapped out the toast for an up charge and got... One Blueberry Danish Pancake: signature house-made buttermilk pancake topped with blueberry coulis, sweet cream, and almond streusel surrounding a center of lemony cream cheese filling (5/5). OMG, I'm so glad my wife swapped out my toast for this. It was so worth it! Fluffy and airy pancake. But that lemony cream filling surrounded by the blueberry coulis was FIRE! This is a definite must! I asked for hot sauce, and Ashley brought me Tabasco sauce and Yellow Bird Serrano Hot Sauce. The Yellow Bird sauce was so tasty on my poached eggs.
