This place was a little tricky to find as it's in a business park area, but once you find it the ambiance is great. Came on a sunny winter day so it was great to sit outside, and they have a squirrel who frequents to get some crumbs--we eventually became friends. The breakfast sandwich was on point. I had a long night and needed something to recover, so this sandwich, some decent tots and an orange juice brought me back to life. The quality of the ingredients in the sandwich really did it for me though, everything tasted very fresh. The service was also great, everyone was very friendly. This place is a staple in the Playa Vista area. A hole in the wall between two businesses that you really only know exists if you live in the area. We have stopped in here mostly for brunch on the weekends, and it really never disappoints. I usually go with the breakfast sandwich, which was the case on this sunday. As you can see by the picture they really stuffed the sandwich with a great amount of egg, and sausage. I split this with my wife and we were both full. They are cooked to order, so they're always fresh and hot. they also have a beautiful patio area that you can sit underneath umbrellas in the sun. Came here on a Saturday morning and this place was booming with customers already. We decided to eat here since my friend and I came to see the Ed Sheeran concert at Sofi, and this was close by. I went to this restaurant based off the reviews for my mother in laws birthday breakfast. They moved the restaurant to another restaurant and has minimal signage. It's confusing to find. You order with the server then self seat after. There was one person ahead of us that ordered and were told they would be right with us. After waiting 15 minutes to order, we decided to leave. This is not a dine inside establishment like I expected, you stand in line, they let one person/party in at a time to place their order. Once you order you wait outside. They have tables and chairs outside for you to eat or sit to wait for your food. The tables that are close to the window have heaters above them, we definitely needed them when we went and it felt good. You receive a number, if you're dining in they bring the food to your table. Along with ketchup and you can ask for other condiments. There's a parking structure and street parking, I parked on the street and walked over. This review is only for the coffee. I was in the area and needed a coffee, so I stopped in. The cafe is nestled between some modern high-tech offices and a parking structure. There's a nice public art sculpture right out front. I order a latte with 2% milk. When I first tasted it, I thought it was just coffee. I had to open the lid to ensure that there was indeed milk in there. Overall, I was underwhelmed with the drink. To be fair, the food looked decent, so next time I'm in the area, I'll get my coffee drink from Blue Bottle, which is just around the corner (and which I had forgotten at the time) and try one of their food items. read more

This is one of those weird reviews to write. Half of the food was so good! But the other half wasn't... The bad- we got the French toast and the carrot cake waffle. Both were severely undercooked. The French toast on the inside was just mush. The carrot cake waffle was the same, the batter was raw, and the carrots(why so many?!) we're crunchy....barely cooked crunchy. They weren't edible when we got them. We took them home and threw them in the air fryer, and that helped a bit! The good- hash over hash with bacon was delicious! Loved the tater tots! The Chiquitas & Gringos with braised beef was amazing! Parking in the garage was pretty easy, and it was great that they validate parking. I must say finding the place was pretty confusing - it's in the middle of a business plaza(?), and the parking structure is a little hard to find. Nonetheless, I did my best by following the signs and managed to park in the right structure and find the restaurant. A lot of reviews said the killer quesadilla with bacon was among the best things they'd eaten, so naturally I decided to give it a try. Holy. Cow. Firstly, the portions were huge. As in, after the first (of four) quesadillas (plus a few tater tots), I was full. There was so much packed into the quesadilla - crispy bacon bits, creamy guac, lots of cheese, and more. Everything tasted amazing, and I can see why it's so popular! I must say by the time I finally got around to eating it (I got distracted with some work), the food had cooled off, so I can only imagine how much better it could've been! Super glad I gave this place a try. A bit out of the way and was confusing to find, but it's so worth it. And yup, add me to the group of people who say the killer quesadilla is a must-try! Hole in the wall place in a nice neighborhood. Regularly breakfast will run you approximately $20 a person. I came here with my wife. She hated it - I thought it was alright but here's the bottom line... For people who don't care much for eating clean and having a breakfast that doesn't appear like a mess of ingredients thrown together on a plate to be served to pigs this place will work just fine.
