    Parisienne burger

You can't beat the $10 burgers for happy hour on Monday - Fridays, 3 PM - 6 PM! Service was great! Came in with no reservation on a Tuesday evening around 5:30 PM, and they were surprisingly booked for the evening. It's a small dining space inside the lobby of Palihotel Culver City. They did procure a small table and seat for one though, thankfully! I had the Parisienne burger and frites - while it's definitely not a replacement for Petit Trois's big mec, it's like it's younger cousin. My only note is I wish the burger was hotter, and a little less salty (I would say most people would just say it's very flavorful though). I used the remainder of the bordelaise sauce to finish off my fries, which were well seasoned with a touch of fried rosemary, cute! Parking is easy on the street, since it's on one of the quieter parts of Culver City. Bathrooms are inside the hotel area (go down the hallway where the check-in desk is). Curious about the steak frites!

Cool spot inside and good happy hour items. But if you're coming here, you must try their burgers. Both are great. Fries were also good and everything else our table ordered looked fantastic - everyone was happy.

First Day of DineLA - Winter 2026 (Simonette) DineLA Lunch Menu $35 Came here with my niece for lunch. The place was lovely as well during daytime. We arrived early, but by around 12:00 noon the place became packed. I'm not sure if that's normal for Simonette, since this is my first time during lunch time. SERVICE They only had one server. Repeat: One Server. And he also doubled as the host. So yes--service was a little sketchy. THE FOOD (The servings were generous. 5 Stars to that!) Appetizers (5 stars): a) Avocado Toast - delicious b) Croquettes - very delicious! Entrées (3 stars): My niece and I both ordered the French Omelette. I found it bland, even though it was wrapped in cheese. But my niece liked it. I guess you can add some salt and pepper to it. The Omelette came with a side salad that was really tasty. It looked like shaved Frisée (Curly Endive) with what tasted like a simple vinaigrette. Loved it!! Dessert (5 stars): Crème Brûlée - delicious! OTHER SERVICE/STAFF The staff at the hotel check-in counter also doubled as the cashier when paying for valet parking. She was very nice. The valet parkers were nice as well. RESTROOMS Restrooms are unisex. There are two, and the one I used was clean. PARKING The only available parking here is valet parking. Because the neighborhood is for permit parking only.

I met up with a dear friend here to catch up on life, ring in 2026, and disconnect from the current mayhem in the world/political climate. We were getting our steps in while milling about Culver City and landed here for a light nosh and a beautiful glass of French vino. Best decision of the day! We enjoyed a crisp glass of Chenin Blanc, accompanied by the freshest and most delicious tuna tartare served with shrimp crackers. It was the perfect balance of flavors and textures. I also must take a moment for the ambiance and decor, which captured us from the curb appeal to the powder room and everything in between. Even the signature essence wafting through the air was divine! Good food, charming vibes, and a lovely respite from real life for a couple of hours. Be back soon!

Beautiful atmosphere! I love how well-kept the staff attire is. I thought my food was okay - I can't remember the name of the appetizer I had for brunch, but it was a tomato base with and egg to top on sourdough. The bread was perfectly toasted, the egg was perfect, but the tomato sauce took over and was missing "something". It needed a seasoning. I got the crab benedict and it was delicious with the fresh arugula! My mom had the deviled eggs and strawberry French toast. I would recommend both! They were delicious! I'll have to come back to the bar and try more beverages. I was surprised how long it took for me to get my mimosa when it was just my mom and I and one other table for a long time. I hope they move quicker when there are a ton of people!

I saw they had an amazing happy hour special and came in for this but didn't realize it was only M-F. Oops. I already had my mind set on a burger though so I ordered it a full price and it was still worth it. The burger patty's are not as thick as a pub burger but then not as small as a smash burger. There is a lot of seasoning and the American cheese actually hits just right. I saw American cheese was on the burger and snubbed my nose at this, since it's not blue, cheddar, Gorgonzola or a fancy cheese, but like that movie, The Menu, sometimes American cheese is what hits the best. The sauce is bomb. I am glad they put it because it gave me permission to eat the burger with a knife and fork and I actually now might prefer to eat burgers this way. It allows you to take your time eating the burger. The inside is super cute. It seems more like a place you'd find in Manhattan than in Los Angeles. It's old school and has charm. Like a really old building that has been properly maintained. The staff super chill as well. I was helped by 3 different people. My partner had a Japanese old Fashioned and she said it was good. It had a single fancy ice cube in it. This burger is a contender for one of the best burgers I've had in LA.

This restaurant came up while searching for a dog friendly restaurant with a patio. I walked in with my 75 lbs. Golden Retriever. The host greeted him with treats. All the staff welcomed my dog and loved him. A big plus for me. Very charming patio area with a gorgeous tree in the middle. Nice bar seatings as well. The menu had so many of my favorites. I couldn't help but had ordered 3 different dishes just for myself. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. Nice interior, quiet ambiance, great food and service. I couldn't be happier. This will absolutely be my weekly go-to!

We just missed the happy hour here. The service was a bit slow even though it wasn't super busy but friendly. They didn't have any draft beers, so if you are looking for that, this place is a pass. We all tried the burgers here, and they were good! The Parisienne one though was almost drowning in sauce (maybe a good thing) and had to be eaten with a knife and fork! Overall, decent place, but definitely worth it if you can make it for happy hour. If not, a so so place for regular dinner.

Basilio was the most amazing bartender. Living in the area we visit frequently. This is a place that has the best of both worlds. There's an indoor outdoor bar. It's amazing drinks, phenomenal, the service. amazing, the food delicious. If you're looking for an amazing getaway that makes you feel like you're out of the city. This is the place to go.

Decent French bistro style restaurant! Came here as part of a team offsite and liked the variety in the menu. The ratatouille is a highlight, presented beautifully and just lightly charred on the top. Great flavors and paired beautifully with the roast chicken. Roast chicken was a little too dry for my liking although they did manage to get the skin very nice and crispy. Other dishes including appetizers were nothing to write home about. Interior decor and the venue are both very well put together and I appreciated it a lot!

I don't recommend this mocktail "spritz".
    MJ D.

Came with a friend for lunch. The mocktail was bitter, no orange taste, no bubbles in the "spritz", all ice. The salads were all huge romaine leaves. They couldn't slice through the whole lot at once, takes a second with a big sharp knife on a cutting board? It was cumbersome for us to cut every single one multiple times on our plates. Waited so long for the check I thought we were in France. Last, the rattan or whatever woven chairs are very uncomfortable. I still like this place though and I will be back, which I guess is how they get away with all this.

Stopped in for a night cap and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and service. I didn't try the food but the pour was generous and fries looked delicious. I'll have to return to try some dishes.

I placed copies of my books there, including a recent title that had been in the store for less than six months. When I followed up, I was told there had been no recorded sales and that books are subject to removal after a period of time without activity. When I returned to the store, I noticed that much of the "local author" section appeared sparsely stocked, which raised concerns for me about how long books are kept on display and how actively they are supported. To be fair, the store did communicate that: Authors are responsible for following up on sales Shelf space is limited Books may be removed after a certain period However, I think it's important for other local authors to understand that: Placement does not guarantee visibility or promotion You may need to actively check in and market your book yourself Unsold books may be pulled without much notice If you're considering consignment, I recommend having a clear plan to promote your work and staying in regular contact with the store. Just sharing my experience so others go in with clear expectations.

Vanilla lattes are my go-to coffee order so I've tried a lot of these. I can say did not like this "roller coaster ride" at 7:30 in the morning. I would've gone up to the counter to nicely ask for something else, but had an appointment I already left for. I ended up throwing half of it away! So sad. The macadamia nut banana bread was hefty in portion (appreciated) and moist. It was nice. This space is a nice, sunny vibe to work, read, pass some time. People come and go so there was plenty of available tables or bench seats. Service was stellar. Everyone was professional and pleasant. There was one person making the drinks, but he moved with purpose and pumped drinks out much faster than any Starbucks (for reference). I wouldn't stop here again. I'm actually drinking a different iced latte from elsewhere 2 hours later lol Parking: street. If none on this side may need to go across the street. Not sure if the building has a garage option, but it might. I didn't look the menu up earlier or I would've tried something with "almond macadamia" (as the 3 orders before mine were called out including).

There is a full-service restaurant and bar perfect for grabbing a pint and a meal, and a dedicated bakery on the right side where you can pick up empanadas and sweets. During my recent visit to the bakery, I ordered three empanadas and a Beef Milanesa sandwich. It had been a few years since I'd had a Milanesa, and this version was quite solid -- it's essentially what would happen if a chicken fried steak and a chicken cutlet had a baby. The Beef Milanesa ($19.25), it features a breaded, very thin eye of the round beef. Since this is a bakery, the French Baguette is front and center, offering a great bite. It's pretty simple with the tomato, lettuce and mustard. While I would definitely eat it again, it isn't necessarily a destination sandwich I'd drive across town for, but it's a very satisfying choice. For the side, I went with the staff member's recommendation of French Fries over the salad. It was the right move; the shoestring fries were perfectly seasoned, hitting that ideal balance of crispy and soft. Spinach Artichoke: A flavorful blend of extra virgin olive oil, whole milk mozzarella, spinach, artichoke hearts, and caramelized onions. Spicy Beef: Made with halal beef, sweet onions, and a kick from three different types of chilies. Chicken Mushroom: Features halal chicken thigh (ground in-house by hand) with roasted mushrooms and fresh herbs. The empanadas ($3.50 each) were excellent and truly the primary reason to visit. The Spinach Artichoke and Spicy Beef were my personal favorites. I'll definitely be back soon to work my way through the rest of the empanada menu. With so many hipster restaurants popping up in the area, don't overlook this local gem. Whether you're in for the bakery treats or a hearty sandwich, you won't be disappointed.
