    Breakfast Burrito
    C C.

Not bad for $10.95. This bacon breakfast burrito is a big size for this price. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. It's literally a mom & pop place hidden in the courtyard of the drollinger building. seating is limited, but there are seats outside in the courtyard. It's a good place to pick up & go.

Was looking for a non chain place to get something to eat. Saw this and decided to give it a try. Independent, friendly, and relaxed spot. Had the chilaquiles and eggs. Hit the spot. Pretty tasty. Glad I found it. I will definitely come back if possible.

A mama papa store. Food is cheap and freshly made. Store is clean. Got their most popular item - burrito, and it didn't disappoint. Well packed burrito. Enjoyed every bite! The owner was also very friendly.

Exceeded expectations for small mom and pop shop. Open for breakfast. Friendly staff. Ordered a grilled chicken salad which was only 8.50$ and filled me up. Good amount of chicken, especially when compared to panera bread. Cozy atmosphere. Good place for quick bite.

    Fresh Squeezed OJ

Great lil' mom and pop place to pick up a hot meal and snacks. They offer breakfast burritos and sandwiches and lunch such as BLT sandwiches and mexican food options. They also have a cooler with cold drinks, and a chip and candy stand and made to order fresh OJ. It's an affordable stop before heading to LAX or if you want to grab a quick bite. Park in CVS/Ralph's lot and it's in the brown office building.

happy, clean and delicious smells wafting out of their kitchen

A hidden gem. COVID-friendly / Outdoor Dining in the courtyard available. Delicious Breakfast Burritos. Fresh customizable veggie/fruit juices. Killer sandwiches. They all come from this tiny little cafe tucked into the courtyard that my chiropractor shares. After passing it many times following a visit to my crack dealer (The Westside's #1 Chiropractor, Dr. Joga) I decided to stop in after Dr. Joga's employees raved about the breakfast burritos. I opted for a custom-crafted carrot-apple-celery-orange-beet-lemon-ginger juice. Fresh, buzzy and delicious. While I was there, a happy pair of regulars were busy chowing down on a gorgeous looking American Breakfast Burrito and a Croissant Sandwich. Free Plentiful Parking on the north side of the paid parking structure. HIT IT!

Mexican burrito, add avocado... Apple Magic Mouse not included.

The last time we were here, it was during a busy lunch and both the service and the food were below par. But tonight, it wasn't as busy and our server, Geovani, was excellent. First, we were quickly greeted and asked to select our table (since they were not that busy). Since there was only two of us, we picked a table for two. But, after we decided that we would split an appetizer and an entree, the table for two became way to small way too quickly. Geovani jumped right on this, suggesting we move to a larger table. He helped us move everything over and, voila, we were able to stretch out and relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the pear and blue cheese salad and, wow, we could have just ordered this, split it, and we would have been full. Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal. Hope you get the time to stop in and I hope you get Giovani to answer all your questions and issues. Enjoy!!!

Came to sit down and despite the place having many tables, the person by the door insisted that we have all of party present to seat us, which is understandable if they are busy but they were not even 50% full, when I said my brother was right there walking down the street, he insisted to hold his ground. Then literally 30 seconds later my brother is here, then I tell him he is right right there, he goes "ok, I will let you know when a table is ready", why not use stove common sense & say that a table is not even ready? Sounds like steering maybe because of the 4 kids ? Maybe something else? Very rude and I'm acceptable behavior. Then to add to it, turns out I was talking to the manager "Ello", who is acting in your face and challenging you more like a night club bouncer than a "manager" at a cafe....

While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.

As I was working through my message, I had the idea to include a visual illustration--a charcuterie setup to represent the abundant life Jesus offers. Right away, I thought of Alex and Olivia at Joliet Cafe. I've enjoyed Joliet Cafe for years-- whether I've come by in the day to get delicious coffee, or enjoyed the restaurant on a romantic night out with the wife - the food is always outstanding. Alex is truly a masterful chef! So just a couple of weeks before Easter, I reached out with this idea. Not only was he open to it, but he took the time to understand the vision and bring it to life. On the day of, Alex arrived early and prepared a beautiful, abundant "feast" that fit the message perfectly. It didn't just look incredible--it tasted amazing. After the service, we placed the charcuterie next to our lunch table, and it was gone quickly! So many people commented on how delicious and well-presented everything was. I share all this to say: Alex's professionalism, creativity, skill, and flexibility make him an incredible choice for charcuterie boards, catering, or any culinary service.
