Trash! Over an hour wait for 2 of their signature burritos. Waited outside with 4 other parties until one of us asked about the food. Then the orders all come rushed out at once and the orders are all wrong. We had them remake our burritos and they weren't even hot. Avoid this place if you have plans or things to do because you will be running late after this sad excuse for a meal. Read the reviews so decided to check it out. When we arrived it was decently busy, but were handed menus immediately. After waiting in line for 15 minutes we finally placed our orders (breakfast burrito, build your own scramble, the count, quesadilla, bagel and lox). We were told the food would take 30-35 minutes (quite long amount of time for only having to cook eggs). After waiting for 45 minutes we went to go check on our order and were told it was about to be made. Manager brought us a tiny bowl of broken tortilla chips and a small container of salsa for 5 people to curb our appetite. I wasn't going to write this review but i feel like other vegans should be aware. Short version: Food takes way too long and they are sloppy about making sure something is truly vegan. Need better staff training. Never got my food and took 4 days to get a refund credited. Long version: I went here thinking they had a vegan option based on some of the reviews I saw here. I arrived at around 9:40AM , checked out the menu and saw that they could sub tofu. When i got to the front I asked the cashier what I could order vegan and she said the hash on hash bowl with tofu and instead of meat she could add avocado. So i said OK give me two, No dairy so please remove any of the sauces and no avocado on one of the orders. I took my number and waited outside for my to go order I took 2 -15 min phone calls and wasn't really paying attention to the time but the couple behind me on line happened to walk by my table and said wow you STILL didn't get your food?? i looked up and realized that everyone after me on line had already gotten their food and was either done or half way there. There was a whole new group of people now waiting to order. I stopped a waitress to inquire and she told me she would check. She comes out about 5 min later with an order and luckily I opened the box because it wasn't my order. So i tell her and she goes oh that's table 14 not 4. So I say ok still trying to be calm and patient (at this time my internal hangry was kicking in because I had only eaten 5 almonds and 1/2 banana almost 5 hours prior as I was rushing to early church service. 5-10 min later the same waitress comes out with the food and I decide to check being that it was incorrect the first time and i notice there is avocado on both. Instead of complaining i decide to just remove it from one and put it on the other. The waitress then looks at the receipt and says " did you pay for this" I gave her a WTF look. The only way to get a number and your order is to pay first at the counter. OF COURSE I PAID!!! She said it was her first day but c'mon i'm pretty sure they went through how the order process worked at the very least. I was about to leave and said wait a min ... and looked again and realized there was no tofu on it. so I took the fork and moved the hash around thinking maybe it was on the bottom. While moving everything around I see this creamy white substance..... MAYO all over the entire bowl. Fuming now at this point I walk back to the counter to get a refund. Now i'm late to a meeting in DTLA at 11am. It's now around 10:35am and i'm now waiting for them to find the manager to refund me. They tried to offer me croissants and muffins to make up for my bowls being wrong and I explained 3x that i could not eat any of it because i'm VEGAN lol. I honestly don't think it was computing what it means to be a vegan. Finally i get my "refund" but was told there wouldn't be a new receipt so i asked the mgr to print out the original receipt and write her initials next to "refunded" . I didn't want to take any chances. I left starving still, pissed... my whole vibe changed from feeling great about church to being in a frenzy to make it dtla in LA traffic and figure out how i would eat before that. I definitely cant find a reason i would be back. Not that serious. Tip: take the vegan options off the menu please. read more

If you are looking for great breakfast food, this it it! Their pancakes are super fluffy! I had the pineapple upside-down pancakes day they were super delicious! I didn't even need to add syrup bc they were just that good. The servers were super friendly and patient. This place only has outdoor seating and had a fast food type of ordering style. Not impressed. I got the El Gordo Burrito with turkey sausage. The only ingredient that added any flavor, seeing as they forgot the jack cheese, or texture was the tots and there were maybe three in my entire burrito. I'd return but wouldn't get the burrito again. read more

I like that this place is affordable and convenient. The staff is friendly, but I think the owner is a little too friendly. I ate there with my friend who is another girl, and he kept calling us beautiful ladies at least 5 times just while we were ordering, and another 2-3 times when he brought out our food. That made us a little uncomfortable, we came for the food not for the compliments. We shared the hash on hash and the carrot cake waffle. The hash on hash was really good. The egg was cooked how I liked it. I liked the juices and flavor that the tomatoes gave, and I think it helped balance out the saltiness of the potatoes and turkey. The carrot cake waffle was super delicious. It was hot and fresh, and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. I asked for the cream cheese on the side, because I think the waffle by itself was perfect already. One weird thing to me that I think they shouldn't do is allow the public to use their bathroom, or don't use that one bathroom as a locker room for their employees to keep their belongings. I felt super uncomfortable using the bathroom and seeing purses, backpacks, and other belongings in the same room. The locker doors were just open, and none had locks. That's so dangerous, and it's just being asked to get stolen. I think that's something that should be addressed. Other then that, it's a cool, quick lunch spot if you're hungry and want to grab a bite to eat before you head to the airport. Would I come back? Not sure. Although the food was good, I can say that I've had better. The carrot cake waffle is a staple item, and I would order it again if I return. read more

Wow. By far THE BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had. The service was outstanding! A partner stopped and chatted with me and got me some lovely salsa to put on top of the burrito which was the finishing touch on something that was already outstanding. The staff was upbeat and fun. The whole experience really started my day off right. I will be making a point of getting here again no matter how far away I might be. Absolutely 5 stars! This place is also a bit over priced to be serving frozen anything and passing it off as fresh. That actually really irritated me especially when you repeat my order and I spend over 23.00 for the wrong order. this place has potential but for me I didn't see the value in what I paid for. i was also turned off by the fact that people with pets were allowed to have their pets inside of the restaurant that's a bit to close to my food for my taste. I had asked for my eggs over easy but they were overcooked, which was a bit annoying. The flavors weren't great - kind of bland. They do give you a lot of meat though. There was a mix of sweet and regular potato tots, which was cool. It's a pretty heavy meal, so best for if you're really hungry or have a hangover (would be perfect for that). Went here for breakfast before heading to LAX. It's a small little place. No seating inside, only outside. We all ordered the Bebop bowl, and it was delicious! The meat was tender and all the sides complimented the food really well. All the servers and workers there were really nice and helpful. The manager or owner even came out to greet us while we were eating, and he was really friendly. This place was a little hard to find. It's in between a business building and parking garage and can't be seen from the street. After driving around the block a couple of times and almost giving up, we finally saw some signs with arrows that were sitting on the curb on So. Campus Center Drive. We couldn't find it from Bluff Creek Drive (business address). Anyway, we parked on the sign street and walked in. There's a few counter seats inside and then some outside seating with plenty of portable heaters. We were excited about our food. The tater tots were pretty good - tasty and super crispy. And my Big Papa sandwich was good - I chose scrambled eggs (cooked just right) and turkey sausage (moist and yummy). My daughter had the Hash on Hash bowl with eggs over easy. It was too much - lots of garlic aioli with the tots and vegies underneath the eggs made for a super wet breakfast. Maybe it would be better without a runny egg, or with the aioli on the side, idk. We might go back and try something else or just for the tater tots. :) read more

Came here because of the reviews, leaving less than impressed. We ordered different things at the table, I chose the Nutella and banana French toast, my mom got the pineapple upside pancakes. It was canned pineapple & nothing special. No caramelized sugar. I could have made mine on French toast and added Nutella. Also, be prepared to sit outside. read more
