You can find some special, more obscure things, like weird varieties of cocoa powder or coffee, plus honey, and even locally made Yemeni halva/khalta (to the uninitiated, it's sort of a distant cousin of nougat or Turkish delight, but better-- get the harissa one, it's the bomb). The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have a bunch of other random housewares and household items ranging from tea sets to perfumes, including an "inspired by" Baccarat Rouge that smelled actually believable for a tenth of the price of the real deal. Check out Khanjar perfume for men - the art in the packaging aloneis worth $25 alone! But don't kid yourself, this smells incredible for both males and females, IMO. Their jewelry, mainly silversmithing of rings, is high quality and unique. I found them a bit high in price for the silver content but many held beautiful polished stones (Aqiq, Agate,) of which I have no knowledge of their value. Overall, this smallish market houses a powerful punch of high quality merchandise in comparison to larger markets, and excellent customer service. I'll be back.

I was blown away to find that nothing has changed. Think about that: COVID broke the world, but Super Greenland held the line on prices, while still offering fantastic variety and quality. You can still get a bag of 8 of the freshest pitas you've ever eaten for $1.49: they're so fresh the bag still has steam in it. The baba ganoush is smoky and freshly made for only $3.49 a pound. Other deli offerings are similarly priced, and high quality. I'm not exaggerating when I say they have hundreds of spices and seasonings. I don't think twice about spending $4 for 1 ounce of cinnamon sticks at the supermarket; here, $4 gets you 6 ounces of cinnamon sticks. They have an entire aisle devoted to pickled things here. If it can be pickled, they have it here. And, do I have to tell you how much cheaper it is here than anywhere else? Oh, and do you like baklava? Of course you do. The variety of that alone is also impressive. I sometimes forget that this is also a regular grocery store. The produce is high quality, and nicely priced. With all the phenomenal middle eastern things here, I'm strangely disappointed that they also have boring things like Froot Loops, Ragu pasta sauce, and other mundane things. It's sort of like the opposite of the "international aisle" at a normal supermarket. I gave Super Greenland a great review before, but I actually think I sold them short.

They do provide plastic bags, but if you're picky like me and don't want it to be condensating, bring a cloth or paper bag to maximize the crispy bits. The bread is hand made and so it's thinner in the middle, and thicker on the outside rim. The outside is chewier compared to the crispy-wafer like interior. We also got the shish kabob, the shish tekka beef and shish tekka chicken. We also picked up a grilled fish. The kabob was very tender and juicy, with a charred outside, and the chicken tekka came by a close second as it was so juicy and flavorful. The tekka beef was a little gristly, but still very delicious. As the chef was pulling them off the skewers, he gave the meat a final sprinkle of seasonings. The meat came with two whole grilled tomatoes and three whole grilled small onions. I'm not sure how you're supposed to eat them since the onions still have their skins and roots attatched, while the tomatoes was very, very juicy. The fish was butterflied and grilled with similar spices added. It's still bone in, so nne careful while eating it! It was cooked perfectly.
