Great menu with lots of tasty options. Came here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Everything seems to be stepped up instead of standard coffee shop fare. Waitress recommended their eggs benedict and I went with the Tuscan Anne. Toasted Sourdough, Prosciutto Ham, Cream Cheese Hollandaise, Balsamic Glaze, Chiffonade Basil & Tomatoes. Very tasty and comes with a small side salad and hash brown balls. Everything was delicious and the sauces were excellent. Cold coffee for some reason and heard another complain about it too. I gravitate towards not leaving poor reviews but today's experience at Hatch was worth commenting on... and I hope it leads to change... We showed up for brunch... yes it was Mothers Day so we weren't expecting top service as restaurants are slammed on such days... HOWEVER... we never received water even after asking for it several times We were served ice cold coffee twice and tepid coffee once We never received silverware... I had to go to the counter and ask Every table around us went through 2 rounds of guests before we received our food... but my order never did come and the other orders were insufficient in some way. Other servers were competent and able to serve their guests well... ours did not seem to care either way If we had what we needed or ordered or not. She didn't seem overwhelmed as much as she seemed absolutely indifferent to her customers... and I think she recognized how she had dropped the ball for a solid 90 minutes because ... By the time we were leaving, we asked for a to go container and after another long wait, our server never came back... someone else brought the container.... She lightly acknowledged the mess our brunch was and my meal ( that never came) was removed. I wish I would have asked for a reduced bill but I paid it and although the food we did receive was good, the experience and how it was not handled left me and my party of 6 deciding Hatch will not be visited again For $120, I did expect some sort of service or at least the offering of an apology. read more

Came here around 7:30am and we were the first customers. The place started to get busy little after 8am. The interior is modern and contemporary. It's also close to the waterfront, a nice area to walk around after the meal. We all got different items to share. I got the kitchen sink... I had an image of what the dish would look like, but it was totally different when I got it. More like skillet items you'll find at a diner served on a plate. Service was good, the food was decent, and the coffee was alright :) Definitely worth visiting once if you are in the area. read more

Good experience, packed on the weekends so expect a wait, BUT you can always join the waitlist on yelp! We only waited about 20 min on a Sunday around 10:30-11 am. We opted to eat outside because it was less noisy and crowded. The flies were vicious tho and a grass hopper definitely landed on my date smh thankfully he's not bothered by bugs. Had a great server, attentive and kind. The food was delicious! His pancakes were super sweet so I'm glad I opted for something savory to counter it. Food was excellent. We started off with the brûlée grapefruit. It was amazing! My husband had the fried soft boiled eggs and bacon. Next time we will ask for our bacon crispy. But very tasty and so different. I had the blueberry compote pancake. I was surprised to see so many delicious blueberries. We both had coffee which was served hot! The Hatch was very loud! hatch came in the clutch as i pulled an all-nighter & was on the hunt for something open at 6am. this spot popped up & i was always curious (there's one in okc & there's one on the way on cherry street) so i went ahead & made that move. with it being 6am - 2pm, my mindset was already that it's one of those places that gets packed by regulars. this time around, it wasn't busy as i sat at the bar & basically had the place to myself. i went with the sausage biscuit & it comes with a side of hash brown tumblers (incredible fyi). the sausage biscuit comes in a nice size with the sausage, egg, smoked cheddar cheese, pepper jelly (what really won me over to order) all in-between a fluffy biscuit. the sausage was really good, the egg was just as fluffy as the biscuit & took over the sausage. i liked the smoked cheddar & i think modifying by adding bacon would've taken it over the top (i'm quick to include bacon whether it's a side or not). i really liked the pepper jelly, i should've asked for extra. speaking of asking, the bartender/server was very very attentive. she checked on me about every 5 mins & stayed on top of it when it came to my coffee. now, the hash brown tumblers is something i never had before & would love to have over & over. i dipped them in ketchup here & there, they really didn't need it. imagine shredded hash browns covering a balled-up mashed potato center... read more

We took a friend to the hatch for Sunday brunch, and it was delicious. We had a great waiter by the name of Bailey who took such good care of us. It's great when you have a waiter that really knows the menu and make sure you're well. Taken care of. The atmosphere is rather eclectic, and it has an open kitchen, which always love. They had a new bartender and we had to send a couple drinks back, but other than that everything was awesome. My partner said chicken fried steak was to die for. And my omelette was superb. They have something interesting on the menu called chicken fried egg and I ordered as a side for fun. See the photo. The restaurant is insanely popular. The tables and booths packed with chattering diners. Their conversation along with the waiters scurrying about to feed them and clear tables, created a chaotic noisy crowded environment; dining at its finest. The backbone of the breakfast meal, eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits and hash browns are served up with a glamor make over. Hardly a plate in the restaurant that wasn't filled with "Hashbrown Tumblers." The Eggs Benedict's menu description specifically lists "Grilled Duroc Ham." It is unlikely that anyone in the restaurant this morning could explain what a Duroc is. Also unlikely, is that the restaurant has the documentation to substantiate the ham's pedigree. I seriously doubt if anyone has ever said to a friend, "you have to try the Duroc ham!" It's all fancy delicious breakfast food! Very good! No tables available this morning at 10AM. Don't you folks have jobs? We grabbed a couple of stools at the tall table in the bar area. It was a good choice. Great service from the young lady that took care of us and the view of the kitchen staff performing kept us entertained. For me, Hatch's version of my standard breakfast. See the pictures. The crispy Hashbrown Tumblers were unique. The biscuit was covered with good gravy and a serving of sausage crumbles. The meal was delicious. My wife went with the decadent Famous PanOKCake. This is a pile of chopped Bacon, Pecans, Bourbon Maple Glaze topped off with a dollop of whipped butter. Under that pile, supposedly was a pancake in the shape of Oklahoma. My wife gave it an exceptionally good rating! I have avoided this restaurant because of the crowd it draws. Personally, I prefer the calmer, slower paced small-town diner. Congrats to you if you had a minimal to no wait time! We ended up waiting 45 minutes. We were offered to eat at the long tables that were first come first serve. Didn't chose that because I wanted our own table. Next time, will consider that for sure! We ordered the Benedict flight which consisted of the salmon, classic and the Johnny. The Johnny was my favorite...it was different from the other two, much more tasty, and didn't have an English muffin bottom like the other two. Since I was sharing this dish with my hubby, he opted for the fruit side, and I like how there was fresh arugula to add to the Benedict's...The Poutine was good!
