Just to start, their waitlist time estimate is terrible. I don't mind being put on a waitlist but have it be slightly accurate. It said 35-45 min but ended up close to 1.5 hours. Second issue was their specialty coffees are terrible. It was too watery. I think the coffee to water ratio was off. It did not taste good. We had two different ones and both were terrible. Food otherwise was good and service was great.

Came for Sunday Brunch, not a long wait. Food was delicious and server was friendly. Food came out fast regardless of how busy it was. Would recommend this place for family brunch.

Lovely brunch out from the rain @ Hatch with a friend. Hot tea and a plate of French Toast made deliciously with cinnamon butter as I add a covering of honey as a glaze. Decided to add a treat of well cooked bacon which was perfect. My friend had chicken and waffles and said was freshly made.Friendly waiter Adam was pleasant and prompt.

This was my first time eating at this establishment and I enjoyed every moment. From the food, to the service and the atmosphere, everything was great. Tiffany was an excellent server who was very attentive and personable. Kudos to the manager for that 90's playlist. The music had me dancing in my chair (and in the bathroom.) There was a nice crowd for a Saturday morning, and the wait was only 10 to 15 minutes. I'll definitely be back.

Had another amazing brunch at Hatch. Shouts to Mel and Cat the bartenders. They always put a smile on my face with great conversation, amazing food and drinks. The old school cartoons on the tube is a vibe. Can't wait to return.

The food here was okay. I think the biggest thing for me was the amount of customers. It took a while to get a table because it was extremely packed, which is understandable. The ambiance was alright, decent for photo ops

I took my best friend to Hatch in Huntington for her birthday brunch. The overall vibe of the place is super fun and totally what we were looking for. We started with a the House Party Mimosas which was a bottle of lamarca prosecco on ice and three different juices to create our own mimosas for $39. The bucket it was served in was visibly dirty but other than that we really enjoyed getting to make our own drinks. Bestie had the Charleston Benedict and I had the That's a Gouda Benedict, both for $16.95. When our waitress took our order she asked us if we wanted hash browns or tater tots, but did not inform us that the tater tots were a two dollar up-charge each, which brought our meals to $18.95 a piece. The tater tots were also very cold when they arrived to our table, but the rest of the meals were hot and delicious. We also shared a Blueberry Danish pancake which was fantastic. It had lemon cream cheese filling, blueberry compote, sweet cream & toasted almond streusel. It was fantastic. Overall we had a great meal at Hatch and we'd definitely return.

Hatch felt pretty disappointing overall, especially considering the expectations going in. We ordered a skillet with toast and French toast, but the quality just didn't match the price or the hype. The toast was just basic white sandwich bread, which felt cheap and out of place for a restaurant at that price point. The French toast was also underwhelming--kind of chewy, overly drenched in syrup, and way too heavy and sweet instead of being light and fluffy. It also felt like they were using store-bought syrups, which made it taste less fresh and more processed. The skillet itself was bland and served cold, which made it even more disappointing. Even the side toast was slightly burned and looked low effort. Overall, it just didn't feel thoughtfully made or worth going back to.

Great staff, menu & vibe. Delicious drinks and food. Lots of options and since I am trying to be healthy, I got a Hatch Power Bowl. My guy got the chocolate chia overnight bowl that had over 40 grams of protein. I will be back!

Amazing food, the servers were amazing. The mimosa set was great. One thing thought, the mimosa glass smelled a little funky so we did have to ask for a new glass.. but it was fine after that! The food was amazing though and very well cooked and the French toast was an amazing treat to have.

"We got ground to dig and worms to scratch It takes a lot of sittin', gettin' chicks to hatch" (King Crimson) We joined some childhood friends from Long Island for breakfast a few days ago, and when we asked them where we should meet, they were very enthusiastic about Hatch. And what a great choice it was! Our friends told us that on the weekends, the lines are out the door. Luckily, on our Friday morning visit, there were no such lines when we arrived. You'll smile when you approach their exterior double doors and are greeted by a gigantic Yellow Smiley Face! Their interior space is gorgeous with vibrant hues of yellows and oranges, artwork on the walls, and big hanging white basket lights. Even the bathrooms have an artistic touch, with a backwards "You Look Fine" painted on one wall so when you look at yourself in the wall mirror, that reassuring message appears over your head. Our server was a delight and was a joy to interact with. Coffee and water refills appeared automatically all morning. The menu is a thing of beauty with a zillion egg dishes, benedicts, egg sandwiches, pancakes, French Toast, hash, etc. I went with a coffee ($4) two poached eggs ($5.90) and a side of corned beef hash ($8.95. Our server made a point of telling me their hash is different and "not like what you get in a can". It was CLEARLY homemade and included big cubes of solid corned beef about half the size of an ice cube. The plate also contained diced potatoes, some shreds of bacon and a sliced scallion garnish. I added some ketchup and a powerful Sriracha and I was a very happy camper. Honestly, we loved our visit to Hatch. An easy five stars for décor, service, food, value, and overall experience. Hatch is open for breakfast/brunch Monday - Friday from 7am - 3pm and Saturday & Sunday from 7am - 4pm. GOLD MEDAL TRIVIA Hatch is located on the site of a legendary Long Island luncheonette, previously known as "The Hamburger Choo Choo", where a model train delivered your food to your seat at the counter. I ain't lying, go Google it. There is even a Facebook page named "Friends of the Hamburger Choo Choo".

The decorations and vibe of the place are cute and cheerful. The food took a long time to come out, around 20-25 minutes for three dishes, and it was not worth the wait. I love pancakes, but I only got 1/3 through mine before giving up and eating the bacon instead. Overall, the place has a nice ambience, but the food is not worth it.

Gave a kind of hippy vibe when we walked in. People were friendly , service was good. Wasn't crazy about the food. It was fine , my eggs had no taste and the hash brown was horrible. That needs to be changed ASAP. You can't mess up potatoes!Would like to give it a second try. Maybe order something else.

There were toddlers and preschoolers in the restaurant with their families, so I asked the waitress to please change the channel. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me that she didn't understand what my problem was. I explained that there were graphic photos of people and crime scenes that aren't suitable for children, or really anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. That issue non-withstanding, I still don't think Over Easy is worth choosing over Hatch or Munday's. The wait for us was 20 minutes, which is the same for pretty much every other place in Huntington. It's also very small, so as a result the tables are extremely close together. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with waitstaff passing through very frequently on both sides. We had to constantly tuck ourselves in and watch our backs to avoid getting an elbow in the face. Our food tasted alright, but there were several issues. We both got variations of eggs benedict. I got the avocado BLT benedict, with avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon, and hollandaise on top of ciabatta. It tastes good, and I especially liked how orange and healthy the poached egg yolk was. However the ciabatta was pretty badly burnt. My boyfriend got the "classic" eggs benedict, which was served over toasted sourdough bread. This bread was ridiculous, over an inch thick and impossible to cut through without shaking the table and making a crummy mess. I would've thought the classic eggs benedict would be eggs with Canadian bacon over an English muffin; this one was just not the best.

The hostess was super friendly but our server was a bit brisk -- he didn't make eye contact when speaking with us and spoke quickly like he was in a rush. Our server did warn us that entrees would take 45 minutes, I was surprised but glad he warned us so we could make sure we got appetizers to help with the wait. We ended up ordering: - Tomato & Onion Salad (5/5) I was skeptical but this ended up being so tasty. - Filet Mignon (3/5) This was small and didn't taste that good in my opinion. The steak sauce was delicious though. - Lobster Roll (5/5) Great portion size. In my opinion, this restaurant is very overrated, especially considering the prices. The cost does not seem to match the quality of the food, the service, or even the overall ambiance. I actually came here last year during Restaurant Week and had a great experience, so I was looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, my second visit was a completely different experience. For the prices they charge, I think the restaurant could really benefit from some updating and renovations. The space feels extremely outdated, including the carpeting, which looks like it may have been there since the restaurant first opened. The carpet also seemed to need a thorough cleaning, as every so often there was an unpleasant odor that I couldn't quite identify. We started with the shrimp and lobster wontons and a spicy tuna roll. Both were fresh and enjoyable. For our entrees, we ordered a filet mignon, a ribeye, and two sides--creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. both pieces were asked for "medium" and they were not medium. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes had virtually no flavor, and the ribeye was extremely bland & tough. It lacked seasoning and any noticeable grill or char, which was disappointing for a steak at this price point. The service was also frustrating. I ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives and received regular olives instead. We were not in any rush to finish our meal and would occasionally put our forks down to take a break, but we were repeatedly asked if we were finished. One busser came over, then another shortly after, and then another. By the end of the meal, we must have been asked whether we were done close to ten times. It made the experience feel rushed and took away from what should have been a relaxed dinner. Also - dessert menu has Briermere pie for $18 a slice, when the entire pie from Briermere is like $40. i mean seriously? I truly expected more, especially because my first experience here was so enjoyable. I'm not sure what changed in the past year, but unfortunately, this visit did not live up to my expectations. At this price point, an average meal, outdated atmosphere, and inconsistent service simply aren't acceptable to me. I left feeling that the experience did not justify the hefty bill.

We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. They were tiny and maybe boiled, just not great. We also had the ravioli. One big extremely dense ravioli, raviolo or whatever a singular one is technically called. It was ok but so dense and rich. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.

As a true connoisseur, you know that the distance traveled is often a small price to pay for culinary perfection. Making the trek from Brooklyn was a pilgrimage that paid off in every bite. Dining at this establishment is less of a meal and more of a choreographed performance where every ingredient plays its part to perfection. Several dishes merit special mention. The evening began with a Watermelon Salad that redefined refreshment. Each vibrant cube of melon arrived with a crisp, crystalline texture, cleverly balanced by salty flourishes and herbal notes that felt like a cool breeze on a humid evening. It was followed by the Sweet Chilli Shrimp, a dish that struck a delicate chord between fire and honey. The shrimp were plump and oceanic, draped in a glaze that hummed with a sophisticated, creeping heat. Then came the crescendo: the steaks. The Wagyu was an absolute masterclass in decadence, possessing a buttery marble that seemed to dissolve upon contact, leaving behind a rich, lingering umami. In contrast, the Ribeye offered a more rugged, soul-satisfying experience--perfectly charred, deeply flavorful, and dripping with an earthy intensity that only the finest cuts can achieve. To close, the Floating Island and Tiramisu were a dream rendered in sugar and air. Beyond the words, just weightless finale to an otherwise powerful gastronomic journey. With a party of four, the portions were quite generous. We even had leftovers to take home and revisit the exceptional flavors the next day." Whether you are coming from around the corner or making the drive from Brooklyn, IMC delivers a level of hospitality and flavor that makes every mile worth it. Try it - you won't regret the trip. I.
