Had another amazing brunch at Hatch. Shouts to Mel and Cat the bartenders. They always put a smile on my face with great conversation, amazing food and drinks. The old school cartoons on the tube is a vibe. Can't wait to return.

Great staff, menu & vibe. Delicious drinks and food. Lots of options and since I am trying to be healthy, I got a Hatch Power Bowl. My guy got the chocolate chia overnight bowl that had over 40 grams of protein. I will be back!

I took my best friend to Hatch in Huntington for her birthday brunch. The overall vibe of the place is super fun and totally what we were looking for. We started with a the House Party Mimosas which was a bottle of lamarca prosecco on ice and three different juices to create our own mimosas for $39. The bucket it was served in was visibly dirty but other than that we really enjoyed getting to make our own drinks. Bestie had the Charleston Benedict and I had the That's a Gouda Benedict, both for $16.95. When our waitress took our order she asked us if we wanted hash browns or tater tots, but did not inform us that the tater tots were a two dollar up-charge each, which brought our meals to $18.95 a piece. The tater tots were also very cold when they arrived to our table, but the rest of the meals were hot and delicious. We also shared a Blueberry Danish pancake which was fantastic. It had lemon cream cheese filling, blueberry compote, sweet cream & toasted almond streusel. It was fantastic. Overall we had a great meal at Hatch and we'd definitely return.

Gave a kind of hippy vibe when we walked in. People were friendly , service was good. Wasn't crazy about the food. It was fine , my eggs had no taste and the hash brown was horrible. That needs to be changed ASAP. You can't mess up potatoes!Would like to give it a second try. Maybe order something else.

"We got ground to dig and worms to scratch It takes a lot of sittin', gettin' chicks to hatch" (King Crimson) We joined some childhood friends from Long Island for breakfast a few days ago, and when we asked them where we should meet, they were very enthusiastic about Hatch. And what a great choice it was! Our friends told us that on the weekends, the lines are out the door. Luckily, on our Friday morning visit, there were no such lines when we arrived. You'll smile when you approach their exterior double doors and are greeted by a gigantic Yellow Smiley Face! Their interior space is gorgeous with vibrant hues of yellows and oranges, artwork on the walls, and big hanging white basket lights. Even the bathrooms have an artistic touch, with a backwards "You Look Fine" painted on one wall so when you look at yourself in the wall mirror, that reassuring message appears over your head. Our server was a delight and was a joy to interact with. Coffee and water refills appeared automatically all morning. The menu is a thing of beauty with a zillion egg dishes, benedicts, egg sandwiches, pancakes, French Toast, hash, etc. I went with a coffee ($4) two poached eggs ($5.90) and a side of corned beef hash ($8.95. Our server made a point of telling me their hash is different and "not like what you get in a can". It was CLEARLY homemade and included big cubes of solid corned beef about half the size of an ice cube. The plate also contained diced potatoes, some shreds of bacon and a sliced scallion garnish. I added some ketchup and a powerful Sriracha and I was a very happy camper. Honestly, we loved our visit to Hatch. An easy five stars for décor, service, food, value, and overall experience. Hatch is open for breakfast/brunch Monday - Friday from 7am - 3pm and Saturday & Sunday from 7am - 4pm. GOLD MEDAL TRIVIA Hatch is located on the site of a legendary Long Island luncheonette, previously known as "The Hamburger Choo Choo", where a model train delivered your food to your seat at the counter. I ain't lying, go Google it. There is even a Facebook page named "Friends of the Hamburger Choo Choo".

Really enjoyed my visit to Hatch. Sat at the bar for the first time and I'm happy I did. The decor and vibrant interior are so welcoming. Mike and Gaby were super. Pleasant and personable. The coffee was nice and hot on a cold day and the food was tasty and filling. Another great visit. Well done.

We were meeting some friends for a late brunch and they have never been here before. It is always packed on the weekends but since it was a late weekday we beat the rush. We started with the pineapple upside down pancakes to share as an appetizer and it was so good! Two of us ordered Hatch Power Bowl (one was able to substitute eggs since they don't eat eggs) and 2 ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. We all enjoyed our meals. There is table, booth and combo of both seating available. Service is friendly and efficient. There is street parking and a nearby parking available. They serve cocktails and mocktails as well. This is a great brunch option in Huntington.

Yesterday, my husband and I tried one of the best French Toast items we've had in some time. I ordered the Holy Moly French Toast and it lived up to its name. It was so tasty! From the subtle sweetness of the toast to the hint of butter and creamy mascarpone, it was excellent. I also loved their house blend sausage patty. Yes, it's a bit pricey but worth every bite! My husband ordered the Tijuana Breakfast Tacos and thought it was great, as did I. The tacos were light and bursting with flavor- you really could taste each component. The corn tortillas held together nicely, making them more enjoyable to eat. He also ordered a half portion of the Cinnamon French Toast Crunch. Again, the French Toast was perfect, but the toppings were a bit too sweet. If ordered again we would request it on the side. There are so many good things to say about this place, definitely a stress-free environment that makes it feel like a bright Saturday morning being experienced every day. Our server, Aiden was so welcoming. He truly took his time to explain and compare dishes, which made us feel more confident in our selections. If you're looking for a new breakfast spot, you might as well add Hatch to your breakfast rotation because they are crushing it. We can't wait to visit again soon.

Hatch is one of our favorite cute brunch spot in Huntington. All foods we tried, both savory and sweets, there tastes amazing and really good! This time, we decided to try two kinds of their sandwiches and their seasonal pancake, which was the Peanut Butter Pancake. The seasonal pancake comes with Nutella filled pancakes with peanut butter sauce and a piece of Reeses on top! It was huge and definitely shareable. Tasted amazing and we loved it so much! Their pancakes are buttermilk pancake so it's really soft and tasty. Their sandwiches are good as well, especially we liked their Santa Fe Breakfast Sandwich. It comes with 2 eggs, sausage patty, Monterey Jack, arugula, red onion, roasted tomatoes and chipotle aioli sauce on a brioche bun. This sandwich was huge as well and tasted amazing! Everything we tried so far are delicious so if you haven't tried yet, I recommend you to try this place!

Excellent spot for brunch (that's actually all they serve). They are always busy with a line out the door it seems from 12pm-3pm on the weekends. For parties of 6 or less you can add yourself to a digital wait list in advance. The monterey benedict is one of the best things I've ever had for breakfast. Applewood smoked bacon, smashed avocado, oven roasted tomatoes, smoked cheddar hollandaise (this is to die for), poached eggs on ciabatta, topped with everything bagel seasoning! Comes with a little potato pancake that is also great. The breakfast burrito is huge and you will be stuffed all day! Last time we went for brunch it was a friend's birthday and they brought out a birthday cake pancake with a candle. Very kind of them! The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Prices are pretty reasonable. Only real critic is the 3xs I've been, the food always comes out lukewarm. I wonder if it's because they get so busy they are prepping a lot of dishes in advance?! Regardless, food is really good!

Great Weekend Brunch Spot. It usually gets pretty busy on weekends, so I recommend checking the online waitlist ahead of time. They offer a solid variety of brunch options. The spiked coffees are a must! The place has such a cute vibe and is perfect for a chill brunch hangout. Service is consistently good, and the food never disappoints. Definitely a go-to spot!

    Peanut Butter Cookie Iced Coffee
    Ashley M.

Such a happy vibe with all the yellow, smiley faces, and good music. I got a peanut butter cookie iced coffee and left most of it over. It wasn't sweet and didn't taste like peanut butter at all. I even added Splenda to see if that would help and it didn't. Was very disappointed in that. I got the country breakfast skillet and it was yummy. My boyfriend got the pancake flight with blueberry danish, pineapple upside down, and cinnamon roll flavors and that was both of our favorites! Such a great concept so you can try different flavors. It gets very busy so make sure you get here early!

    Coy V.

Would love to have everything on the menu, but settled on the pineapple upside down pancakes, yum. They get quite busy probably because of the fun and friendly environment. This is a nice brunch spot to come alone or with a group of family and friends, thank you for the lovely service!

There were toddlers and preschoolers in the restaurant with their families, so I asked the waitress to please change the channel. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me that she didn't understand what my problem was. I explained that there were graphic photos of people and crime scenes that aren't suitable for children, or really anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. That issue non-withstanding, I still don't think Over Easy is worth choosing over Hatch or Munday's. The wait for us was 20 minutes, which is the same for pretty much every other place in Huntington. It's also very small, so as a result the tables are extremely close together. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with waitstaff passing through very frequently on both sides. We had to constantly tuck ourselves in and watch our backs to avoid getting an elbow in the face. Our food tasted alright, but there were several issues. We both got variations of eggs benedict. I got the avocado BLT benedict, with avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon, and hollandaise on top of ciabatta. It tastes good, and I especially liked how orange and healthy the poached egg yolk was. However the ciabatta was pretty badly burnt. My boyfriend got the "classic" eggs benedict, which was served over toasted sourdough bread. This bread was ridiculous, over an inch thick and impossible to cut through without shaking the table and making a crummy mess. I would've thought the classic eggs benedict would be eggs with Canadian bacon over an English muffin; this one was just not the best.

Red Roof Roll (4/5): The portion of fish was pretty generous! Tasted fresh as well. They were out of the 38oz porterhouse for 2 by 7p. New York Strip Steak (4/5): Cooked as requested, however not enough fat to make it melt in your mouth as the cuts were a bit too tough. The dry aged taste was great. We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.

As a true connoisseur, you know that the distance traveled is often a small price to pay for culinary perfection. Making the trek from Brooklyn was a pilgrimage that paid off in every bite. Dining at this establishment is less of a meal and more of a choreographed performance where every ingredient plays its part to perfection. Several dishes merit special mention. The evening began with a Watermelon Salad that redefined refreshment. Each vibrant cube of melon arrived with a crisp, crystalline texture, cleverly balanced by salty flourishes and herbal notes that felt like a cool breeze on a humid evening. It was followed by the Sweet Chilli Shrimp, a dish that struck a delicate chord between fire and honey. The shrimp were plump and oceanic, draped in a glaze that hummed with a sophisticated, creeping heat. Then came the crescendo: the steaks. The Wagyu was an absolute masterclass in decadence, possessing a buttery marble that seemed to dissolve upon contact, leaving behind a rich, lingering umami. In contrast, the Ribeye offered a more rugged, soul-satisfying experience--perfectly charred, deeply flavorful, and dripping with an earthy intensity that only the finest cuts can achieve. To close, the Floating Island and Tiramisu were a dream rendered in sugar and air. Beyond the words, just weightless finale to an otherwise powerful gastronomic journey.
