I was excited to go to hatch as I love the one down in Fort Lauderdale, but sadly I did not enjoy it as much. The corn beef hash was a bit tough and came out not warm, and the almond milk latte was not great either. Service was good, but the dining area is a bit dark (not as much natural light). Had this place on my list for sometime now finally had the chance to try it out!! The food is absolutely delicious no complaints at all. My omelette was probably one of the best I ever had and side of homemade hash browns more so a potato patty was really good as well. The omelette has onions, bell peppers and mushrooms for the filling. The pancake sampler was really good as well minus that I didn't like the chocolate pancake just too sweet for my taste buds. It's a pretty modern spot and clean but my only complaint is service which was below mediocre. Most of the staff seemed lost as if they really don't know how to attend their guests. My hostess definitely wasn't interested in serving me and my friend. She had an attitude the moment we sat down and no follow up with her once our food arrived. Constantly we had to ask other servers for stuff like can you refill our water, can we have a fork, can we have more napkins, can I have butter, can I have ketchup, pepper and salt. They don't do the right thing. Ordered pancakes with sugar free syrup due to diabetes and after put syrup all over my meal they come out and say oh they accidentally gave you regular syrup. Ok. They take it back and now the Person with me has their meal and I say go ahead eat because your food will be cold . I wait 15-20 minutes for my food to come out and of course my guest is done with their food because why should they wait and eat cold food. When the bill comes out they charge me for 2 pancake meals! A delicious brunch today! The place is so cute and comfortable. We luckily did not have to wait long for a table for 4 but as we were leaving, it sure was busy. Our sever was attentive and helpful. The food was very good! I ordered the Tijuana tacos and half order of chocolate pancakes. You can do that here-get half orders which is great when you are super hungry like we were. This is a local fav of mine, especially with my picky two year old. It's the perfect spot for a family breakfast/brunch. It does get very crowded and can be a bit loud, but it's perfect for fidgety kids because it's not stuffy and quiet. The food is great, especially the pancakes. Located right on the main strip of the town, this place is really popular. The menu isn't too extensive but what they have is very good. The quinoa bowl with avocado and eggs was really good - light with well balanced flavors and very filling. Corned beef has was elite - large chunks of corned beef mixed with diced potatoes and a tangy sauce. Pancake flight was good albeit a bit too sweet for my taste. Blueberry pancakes are good but the cream was a tad bit of overkill. Pineapple upside down pancake was ok but again just too sweet for me. Service here is fast and friendly.
