Summary: High Speed, Low Drag Vehicle Purchasing Experience. Found Hatfield through the AAA purchasing service and promptly got both an E-Mail and call from Kailey Hatfield (on Saturday). Pros and cons of Hatfield for us: Pros: 1. Family owned business that's not centrally located. Referrals and reputation matter to them and it shows. 2. Participates in the AAA purchasing program, so no haggling and an additional discount. Zero upsell pressure, Kailey answered all our questions (correctly) about the various GM discounts and offers and provided accurate guidance for extended warranty programs. 3. Fantastic customer service through the selection and purchase. Wound up driving like four other models to make sure we were happy with our selection ('17 Terrain) 4. Painless transaction, and I mean painless. Kailey didn't have a V6 in stock on the Sunday we were on the lot. Signed off for the credit check, Kailey helped us pick two alternates to our first choice in case it was no longer available and took off. Got a call first thing Monday morning that she had gotten our first choice in. Had an appointment in San Bernardino on Tuesday morning, swung by, signed the prepared paperwork and drove off. Took like 45 minutes. 5. I like the freebie tote bags. Cons: 1. They're in Redlands. For the record my last statement regarding Buick Hatfield that was posted. Was posted out of anger and frustration. Emotions took over and certain things should no have been said specifically thru yelp. For the record Mr. Hatfield and staff have been great to me and my family. Many years ago I bought my first car from Mr. Hatfield bur my credit was so bad I could not do it alone. So Mr. Hatfield co- signed for me in order to purchase the vehicle. Mr. Hatfield did this on 2 other occasions. Mr. Hatfield and staff have gone beyond the call of duty to help me and my family on numerous occasions and for the record Buick Hatfield and staff are top notch people in there industry and I just wanted to take the time to apologize to Mr Hatfield and staff for the recent comments posted on yelp. It was done out of anger, selfishness and raw emotion. Because today I received a call from Buick Hatfield regarding my issue with my vehicle. Searching cargurus.com for a nice used Buick Enclave, I came across one at Hatfield Buick GMC. We live over 3 hours away from Redlands but happened to be in the area one evening. The dealership was closed but we decided to at least stop by and look at the vehicle's exterior. The next day, I called Hatfield and was directed to the GM, Rod. He answered all my questions and I made a fair offer. He accepted my offer with nothing but straight talk and when I mentioned I wasn't sure when I'd be able to pick the car up, he told me not to worry they'd deliver it. While they didn't bring it all the way to my town, they brought it to a convenient place 2/3 of the way. I was nervous about buying a car from a dealer over the phone so I asked Rod to check it out. He did and assured me that it was nearly perfect. It is and we couldn't be happier with the car or the treatment we received from Hatfield Buick GMC. Just purchased our second Buick Lacrosse from Hatfield. Our sales rep was Alejandra and she was so easy to work with. She listened and understood what we were looking for and never contacted us unless she had some information. We never felt rushed or pressured. Every time we stopped by the show room to look around, someone would greet us and then tell us to ask if we had an questions, otherwise we were free to roam around and look and touch. When we finally decided which car we wanted the process was amazingly simple. We met with Alex, she asked a few questions, and a couple of computer key strokes later we were approved for the car we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. We left and a couple of hours later got a call from Alex that the window tinting was done, and the papers were ready to sign. On of the biggest reasons we stayed with Hatfield is their service department. James and Adrian are so easy to work with. After spending some time "on the fence" I finally opted for the GMC Sierra AT4. Alex Orozco of Hatfield Buick GMC was the salesperson who sent me some gentle e-mail reminders inquiring as to whether I was still interested. I was and so I arranged to meet her at Hatfield. She is personable, helpful, knowledgeable and politely professional. Just the kind of sales rep you want to deal with. She made the process uncomplicated and painless. I bought A 2017 GMC Acadia in what was far and away the easiest transaction I've ever had for a car buying experience!! Handled almost everything on line relative to pricing. Popped in after work on Day 1 to test drive. From home later that night was able to handle the application and credit approval process. With that, Kris my dealer representative, gave me monthly payment amounts that were final. No pressure on the GAP insurance or extended warranty. The next morning, she go the paperwork together, sent me a photo of the car all washed and gassed (ready to go) and a separate photo of the paperwork and keys sitting on the desk ready to sign. Mickey Heaton was so nice that we canceled our purchase with the other dealer and bought a Buick Encore within one hour of working with him. This was the first time that I had a salesmen come up with different discount programs to reduce the price of their car without asking. I felt that the other dealer couldn't compare to the experience we received the first hour. No question Mickey is one of the best! Love the car by the way!
