    Ground meat is pretty cheap
    Maggie L.

It's not in the best neighborhood, but the produces and meat selections and prices are great. I like the produce section outside. It's not the cleanest or most organized inside, but it's what you would expect from an Asian grocery store. Parking is available on the street or in the lot underneath.

Wanna glimpse of what it is like to grocery shop in China? Come to Hau Hau on a weekend. You will be met with tons of shoppers and long lines with minimal parking availability. I personally shop in the middle of the week to avoid the crowds and lines. There is a small parking lot and street parking. However, I urge everyone especially the elderly to exercise caution parking on the streets due to an abundance of transients roaming around. In the supermarket, you will find that most of the produce and items are sold relatively cheaper than their competitors like Lam's seafood down the street. I would advise purchasing seafood at your own risk since I have heard fellow customers purchasing spoiled seafood and the owners refusing to provide a refund. Be prepared for potential unfriendly service by all the employees including not honoring labeled prices when the items ring up at a higher price. I have personally witnessed one of the owners (the younger of two sons) refusing to honor the price of an item and not even acknowledging the mistake. You would expect the younger generation to do better and not follow their immigrant parents' way of doing business, but unfortunately that is not always the case. The owners speak Teochew, Cantonese, Mandarin and some Vietnamese so it's perfect if you're looking to communicate in one of those dialects/languages while shopping. Don't expect an absolutely clean environment as you will encounter flies and some smelly areas especially around the seafood or elevator to the parking lot. Atmosphere is definitely not on par with western standards, but you will likely score some good deals here for either produce or some Asian products.

Fresh BIG vegetables & fruit! (Puppy approved ;) )
    Net T.

I was extremely impressed they had my favorite Har Har Sauce (have not been able to find it for years). The selection of fresh vegetables and fruit was impressive and affordable. Central location meant not too long a walk for me. I wish I had a push cart, I would've been able to buy more Thanks @ forklift guy unloading the produce- I couldn't find onions (there was more to look at than my brain was capable of) and he took me to them

The T&T in Lynnwood doesn't disappoint at all. While it is smaller than the Factoria location, we do not personally have any complaints. The place is not always packed like the Factoria location and that is a a relief. We primarily use the food & bakery sections, live fish, and frozen food sections. One can say they are a bit pricier in comparison to places like Ranch Market who have similar options but we T&T is closer to us than Ranch Market and so we prefer to go here as it is more convenient. They are special items during Boat Festival every year and we absolutely love the bun station during this time. This is also a great place to experiment with a lot of not usually found Asian alcohol in main stream supermarkets unless you are specially going to a specialty shop.

After a few bites of food, I tossed the rest because it was so unpleasant. Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, ribs, what could go wrong? I don't know how it goes wrong, but the food is always gristly, dry and bland. The prices do not match the flavour. Prices are high, flavour is low. In addition, I have never had a staff person say hello or thank you, rarely even an acknowledgement that I am there. During my last visit I asked a gentleman if he knew if they had a particular item and he said "what we have in the store". Oh ok, thanks.

The options at this grocery store is overwhelming but it's kind of a treat also. There is lots of merchandise that you can't get at any run of the mill grocery store. This grocery store is mainly tuned into Asian shoppers and so you get a lot of merchandise that you don't see in just any everyday place. I heard coming here you can get all kinds of different flavors of Kit Kats and indeed I did find a lot of different ones. I purchased a flavor though that I haven't tried before which made it fun. It was a dark chocolate Kit Kat. But what I unexpectedly found was different Pocky flavors also. The sweet tasting pretzel stick I have had plenty of times with chocolate and strawberry flavors but I found one with fruit (mango) chunks that was a part of the flavor. It was good! Perhaps not my favorite but I'm glad I got to try something new! In addition to that there is something similar to Pocky called Pretz. This is a more savory version of Pocky. I found a toasted sugar flavor which I never came across before and that was good too! So it definitely was a hit coming back again. In addition to the grocery store itself at this location there is a connecting bookstore and a food court. So you could definitely spend a considerable amount of time here! I enjoy the bookstore but haven't tried the food court so that will be yet another visit for another time.

At first glance, you see a nichè European grocery store. But it's not until you enter that you see it's much more. It is a small grocery store, minus the produce. It also has a very Eastern European vibe. At first, you think 'Russian', but in reality, it's Ukrainian. There is a shared regional heritage, but it stops there when you walk a big room, which is actually their dining room serving some yummy regional favorites. Sitting down and looking at the menu, your eyes take in all the choices. Chicken Kyiv, Beef Goulash, and house made mushroom soup. There was also fresh house baked bread to round out the experience. What was most appreciated was that the meal and the service were definitely homemade, and with treated with love! Do you wish a beverage with your meal? Walk back to the store and order a canned soda, or choose from one of variety of wines off the shelf - European vintages, of course. Come a little bit early, as the restaurant closes near 7 pm, but the store is ready to serve you until closing. [As of this writing, July 1, 2024, the war in Ukraine is still waging. I'm honestly disappointed to write this review…read more I've been shopping at Goodies for about six months now. They sell dukkah (along with other condiments and seasonings) that are hard for me to find, which saves me the time of making them myself. I've also been buying my lamb from them. On July 3, I purchased two packs of lamb chops. One pack was perfectly fine, but the other was clearly spoiled. I still cooked the good pack, but it wasn't enough for everyone to have. I've been cooking lamb for years--I know how it should smell and how it should look. This meat was off. I called the next day to let them know, and they told me they would replace it. I explained that I live over an hour away, so I wouldn't be able to come back until I was in the area again. They assured me they would still honor the exchange. When I came in today, I was met with so much rudeness that I was honestly shocked. I felt embarrassed by the way I was treated. I had really enjoyed supporting this small business up until this point. Because I was so shaken by the interaction, I didn't even realize until I got home that I had originally purchased a six-pack of lamb chops, but I was only given a four-pack in exchange. When I returned the spoiled meat, the woman behind the counter insisted she would "never sell meat like that." I tried to show her the timestamped photo I had taken of the meat when I purchased it, but she refused to even look at it. At one point she said she "didn't know what my deal was," and then suggested it was somehow my refrigerator's fault before asking, rather dismissively, "Well, what do you want?" I'm a very understanding person. When you're selling raw meat, sometimes things happen. Products can spoil. I wasn't looking for an argument--I simply expected for the issue to be handled professionally and with kindness. Instead, I was treated as though I was trying to cause a problem. I'm sure many people will continue to shop here without issue. However, left feeling like I wasn't afforded the same courtesy or respect that other customers might have received. Maybe I would have been treated differently had I looked different. I can't say that for certain, but I also can't think of another reason I was met with such hostility when I approached the situation politely and respectfully from the very beginning. No customer should leave feeling the way I did. The top pack of lamb pictured was perfect. The bottom pack smelled bad and was greenish in person. As you can see via time stamp - I purchased the lamb on the 3rd and began to cook it on the 4th of July.
