Traveling for work on a cold Wednesday night I stumbled upon this place. The bartenders were nice and attentive. I had me a 12 yr Macallan whiskey and then ordered the Churrasco ranch style which was infused with Creole sauce and 2 fried eggs. The steak was good pretty unique flavors with the sauce, eggs and chimichurri sauce. I had some fried tostones with some mayo ketchup which were good and tasted fresh. If I'm around that area in future I might come back to try out other dishes. read more

We came to Havana nights for dinner with for college kids. We got a few appetizers, drinks and mains. My classic mojito was fine, my son got a mango mojito, also ok. Nothing special, but decent. The appetizers were very good. Plantain cups, fritters. The cups were filled with beef, pork or shrimp. The mains were extensions of the appetizers. Basically the fillings for the plantain cups. Our The first visit to @havananights.restaurant for their brunch was absolutely a great experience. As a new restaurant, just about a month in business, the food and service were spectacular! Angie, our waitress, was courteous and on her game with our group of 6. The atmosphere, decor, and music made for a great ambiance. The cocktails pictured were the Tropical Spritz, which was refreshing, and also then Cuban version of a Bloody Mary... the Manuel Sangriente had a spicy sofrito kick to it! Now on to the food, we started with a Picadillo Sunrise Empanada. Then, for the table, we had to try the Milky Way Pancakes. They are an absolute must. I had the Cuban Benedict Bonanza, a flight of Cuban Eggs Benedict to die for with a side of black beans. The El Guajiro Grand Slam was a huge meal and came with delicious pancakes. Lastly, the Havana Shakshuka meal. Everything here was packed with flavor, we cannot wait to go back! We had the El Gaujiro Grand Slam that came with a side of the most amazing Milky Way Pancakes, Cuban Mojo Poutine, and the Cuban take on the Bloody Mary called Manuel Sangriente. I have never tried Cuban food and wanted to expand my palate. Unfortunately they are in the process of selling the business and the menu was limited. Our waitress was very nice and understanding, but obviously frustrated. We ordered an appetizer but it never came .my wife had the classic cubano sandwich and it was huge and we ended up sharing it the next day. A tasty sandwich that had hints of Cuba. I had the Ropa Vieja. It was decent but a little dry. The rice was spot on and the fried plantain was a nice addition. I hope they keep the theme when they sell and the new owner steps it up. From the warm reception when I entered the restaurant to the Latin music playing and atmospheric it was a pleasant experience. Attentive servers and general manager checking in to make sure that everything is OK. Nice! The food was fresh, tasty and served hot.. In full transparency Havana Nights had just been purchased by new owners so they had a few rough edges. The website stated music but there was no music. We sat at the bar for our meal. The young lady at the bar was very attentive and improved our experience as we received the wrong meal as the male bartender didn't understand the order as his English was weak. I went here for the first time today for brunch and I'm so glad I did. The place seemed kinda small but I didn't mind because it wasn't crowded at all, they were able to sit us right away. It's nicely decorated and I can tell it probably gets packed at night because it gives off a "let's grab some drinks and chill" type of vibe. The food was delicious, I don't have any complaints about it at all and they don't skimp on portions either so you will feel nice and full. The prices were lower than I was expecting which is a big plus. I have no cons to even mention about this restaurant. Looking for something different, a Yelp review led us to Havana's. We were not disappointed. Walking in you immediately feel the vibe of Havana. Great music and decor take you away. Three of us had a superb dinner here. For an app, we got the plantain cups--we got them with one each of shredded ropa vieja, roast garlic pork, and shrimp creole. For entrees: picadillo, mojo-roasted pork, and a Cubano-style turkey sandwich that was on special. Dessert: Guava pudding, a type of bread pudding. In a word: WOW. We had planned on eating across the street where we would have waited in line, saw that Havana Nights offered brunch and thought we'd try it out. We could not be happier. The vibe is lively, the music was fun but not intrusive and the setting is relaxed, but lovely. Our waitress, Clarissa was delightful, attentive and inviting on a dreary Sunday morning. From our Cafe con Leche to my Havana Shakshouka everything was spot on. The warm smokiness of the the tomato base and perfectly cooked eggs were further complemented by excellently seasoned Cuban toast. Devon chose the Grand Slam with chorizo as the meat and pancakes with coconut cream and a dulce du leche type sauce, which was amazing. The main came with a delightful sofrito like topping and that light Cuban toast. Kevin (owner) dropped by our table to check in on us and was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. He gave us a rundown of events and special items he offer throughout the week. Needless to say, we are already planning our next date night to come here for the Saturday night live band. Overall not very impressed. I expected a full Cuban cuisine menu, but instead that was limited and there was a Mexican and Italian section for some reason. Our server seemed confused the whole night and partially blamed it on them "working on the menu". I got the pork chicharrones which were very dry and damn near inedible. To top it off the menu is way overpriced for what you get. Between 2 people and a couple of drinks. We spent about $140 and it was not worth it at all. Only gave them two stars because their menu prices are actually ridiculous in my opinion. Usually any Spanish restaurant iv'e been to has empanadas for appetizers but they usually come with 2 or 3 the most. They charge you $4.99 for just ONE so if you're going with a family this is not the place for you cause if you love empanadas it's going to be like $24 to $50 for less than 10 people and you only get one, & their SO small. Drinks were great. Yuca fries amazing. Ambiance was cozy & cute but they should definitely adjust their menu prices or quantity of their food. We went in the other day for lunch. Staff was extremely attentive & helpful with the menu. Food was absolutely delicious! Drinks were great & unique. We got the Cuban fritters and plantain cups. Both of which I could have easily ordered more of & made a meal they were so good. We opted to get one of each of the 3 flavors offered for the plantain cups & all 3 were amazing. My daughters shrimp creole was fantastic. My husbands Cubano was the best he's ever had. My mojo pork was so flavorful & my son loved his vaca frita. Drinks were great too. I got a guava daiquiri and Hemingway guarapo and my husband got a canchanchara. Kids got mocktails that were also delicious. Even the guava pudding was delicious. Small Cuban restaurant that has beautiful decor. Parking is limited for the side or in a small lot next to it. Food was great, well seasoned and flavors were matched but portions are a tad small.
