We stopped in for a light dinner and a drink on a Sunday night. While the bar had every seat taken, the rest of the restaurant was quiet. After hearing from friends it was great place but very loud, it was just the opposite. Lively but not loud at all. Service was great with a large liquor selection. It is Happy Hour everyday to 7 so we shared 4 dishes from the Happy Hour menu. Caesar Salad was pretty good The Mushroom tart was excellent with a very flaky crust. Edamame was good and the Guac was excellent. With 3 wines and 4 tapas we walked out for $70. Want to go back again but maybe pick a Sunday again. read more

I just want to point out at first that Haven isn't going to be a place you're going to for the food. They have small plate / appetizer offerings available but it's limited. The food itself is serviceable, nothing to knock my socks off, but just something there to keep you satiated while you drink. I'm guessing this is the way it is because they have a limited kitchen in what they can prepare. With that out of the way though, Haven is a really nice, relaxing place to grab a drink. They have speciality cocktails, like the one in my review, that they seem to take pride in preparing. It fills the void left from the Rye House, which also didn't just pump drinks out like an assembly line. Bartenders and staff are real welcoming and friendly, and it's a nice place to take a date to, without dealing with riff-raff like in some of the other nearby places. read more

Came here with my friends to catch up for a bit and I realized I didn't have my credit card so I thought I had left it at the bar so I asked the bartender (older male guy with glasses) if I had left my card out anywhere. He said he checked all the tabs and it wasn't there so I must of left it somewhere else. That night I didn't carry a purse and I had gotten that round of drinks so I knew my credit card was somewhere in the bar. I asked all my friends to check our surroundings maybe I dropped it somewhere. It seemed busy so I didn't want to bother him so I asked him one more time right before leaving the bar if he can check one more time for my credit card. Again, he told me he checked everywhere and questioned why I was asking him again so I was starting to feel very bad for asking. My friend then stepped in and asked if anyone had turned in a lost credit card and he finally asked his coworker and my credit card was right at the register where he had supposedly check the last two times. I asked him where he found it and he said it doesn't matter since I have it now. I know the bars can get busy sometimes but making me feel bad for asking isn't the way to do it. I love supporting new restaurants especially in my hometown. The service is great and as soon as we walked in, we got greeted and sat down. The chef came out and greeted the tables which can always be appreciated. The menu had a lot of options not listed on their Google review which was a great surprise. I was confused on like wether this was an Asian fusion bar/restaurant or American? Still not sure We ordered our drinks and food all together- drinks came back quickly , love that. Drinks are not diluted which we always love. Our food came out quickly as well, presentation 100% amazing- taste wise, very underwhelming. If you're 3 drinks in i guess you would enjoy the food more. *The Maple Bacon Brussels sprouts were enjoyable. *Spicy korean chicken tenders- okay, just felt like i was eating tenders with honey nothing special *For my pickle lovers- the pickle fries were soggy, not that great 2/5 Sticky Ribs- i mean, you can't really mess these up, so decent Overall, coming here for drinks would be a vibe- maybe that's the intention, food wise not amazing. read more

I'd love to give this restaurant 5 stars, because the service and food was great. However, the one female owner was pretty aggressive and rude to her staff in front of me and the friends. It seemed as though she may have been intoxicated , which may have added to harassment towards the employees. It actually got so bad, I finally felt the need to step in and say something. There were comments about them not interacting enough with customers and how they should be grateful they had a full bar, though it did not stop there. It seemed very uncalled for at that time ESPECIALLY in front of customers. As for the servers and bartenders, good for you for keeping your cool and still providing great service under the circumstances. Arjun and Patricio were great conversation and very attentive and Olga made a mean martini! Been here a few times and it was great when they first opened. The food has changed dramatically! Not for the Better either...it was delicious and inventive. The original Chef was awesome! There was nothing like it in the area and now it is mediocre and like most bars the food has become basic bar fare. The meatballs are salty. The current chef uses the same style of shrimp for the bao buns and the tacos! Depending on the bartender you may get a decent cocktail. The space is nice but too bright, the lights should be dimmed for coziness. read more

Please concentrate on less items and make those spectacular! Hot honey chicken - sauce was excellent, tasted like I was eating a slice of chicken breast with sauce Fried chicken taco - not crispy enough, tortilla needed to be crisped, warmed etc. Vegetable Bahn mi - perfection!! Cool new spot on Main Street. You can tell management is trying. The staff is attentive albeit a bit overwhelmed at the Friday night crowd. We were in Bar Taco and couldn't get a table so we came here. Noticed alot of the same faces from Bar Taco. So they were packed with the mainstay overflows. Drink menu and taste impressive. The food menu is limited. A few variations of the same base. Food prices just too high for what you get. 3 spicy bbq ribs for $14- wow. Good but not worth the $14. I'll come for a drink again but no go on the food. Much better options in Port Chester with a better bang for your buck. read more

I arrived around 5:40 with my sister. We put in out drink order and food order right away. My sister does not eat dairy so she ordered the portobello sliders (the description did not mention that there was any dairy on it- all other items on the menu including beef sliders specified that there was cheese and sauce on the item). We received our food about one hour after waiting. We received water that we asked for upon our arrival AFTER our food. The food arrived and there was cheese and dairy sauce on the sliders. We told the waiter that we need it without cheese and that we did not specify because on the menu it didn't mention cheese (they had other vegan options as well). Our waiter proceeded to tell us that we would have to wait "a long time" in order to receive the order that we ordered from the menu. This took another 20 minutes. We then asked for the check and by the end of it all they brought out the correct order. Although we had eventually received the correct order, our waiter was extremely rude and argumentative when we asked for the food without cheese. Would not recommend this place- service was horrible. read more
