First time at this location (I do miss the Freebirds "BYOB - build your own burrito" spot years ago lol. Decided to grab some small bites and went to try their new Korean Fried Chicken bites which were super delish!! Definitely a great little side dish. Habits are usually reliable to get a decent burger. But lately they have started to be obviously poorly staffed at some locations. Granada Hills is one of those locations. The woman at the register was not pleasant nor good at her job. She was very poor at communicating and ended up not getting our order correct. Worse, the hamburgers were in bad shape, the worst I've received at any Habit to date. The buns were old and getting hard, and the patties were dry and severely overcooked. This is only my second time at any Habit. Only one kiosk machine was working. You could also order with an actual human but she was also prepping all the to go orders. From what I saw there were only 2 cooks and 1 front person. She was very friendly and kept things moving. I ordered the Santa Barbara Cobb AND tempura avocado wedges. I had a special request, no bleu cheese and add cucumbers. Good was prepared exactly to my request. The avocado wedges were like buttah! So delicious. Texture was just right, not too hard, not too soft I wanted to try the salad on its own but next time I think I'll add it to the salad. Inside seating was minimal. The biggest downside to this location is that it is located in an extremely busy shopping center where parking is miserable as is just navigating around. The 'dedicated parking' area for this location is also small & shared with another popular restaurant chain so even parking over in that nook of the lot can be full at any given time. However, the inside of the restaurant is extremely nice. It's kept clean and while it's smaller than other Habits, and they do their best to get as many tables inside as possible, the entrance way is kept open giving the whole place a very open, non cramped feeling. I appreciate that. Staff is friendly. They have ordering kiosks at the entrance, but there's also always someone manning the pick up counter & in person ordering register which I appreciate as I think it's much faster to order from a person than a touch screen. Food is on par with any other Habit. Fresh, delicious, and filling. Though, prices seem to continually creep up. This isn't a cheap fast food option. It's definitely starting to fall in to 'special occasion' burger joint in my opinion. Kids from the local school tend to congregate here after school for snacks or whatever so I will say this place can get packed with kids just hanging out around late afternoon/early evening on weekdays. As vegetarians, we're fans of the Habit and happy not only to have one in our neighborhood in Santa Clarita but also to have discovered this new, near-work location in Granada Hills. We've eaten at a handful of restaurants that have occupied this particular space and are happy it's now a Habit. You can get any of their burgers made with an Impossible patty. (In our opinion, the most delicious of plant-based burger patties.) And so we do every time we want to have the satisfying American burger and fries experience as our meat-eating friends do. It's always done right and there are lots of ways to customize it so, if you get bored easy like I do, you can change up your experience. I especially like that you can get a half-and-half version of their sides, so if you want onion rings but don't want to give up on fries, you can get both in a half and half! (And if you're feeling adventurous, there are the green bean fries, too.) There are many places you can get a vegetarian burger these days. Many are good. And not in a nice, respectful way. Approaches the table and simply says "you need to leave" .. not "hey, we're closing in 10 minutes please finish up" or even when ordering they could have said "we're closing in 20 minutes this order has to be to-go" ..NO! Probably one of the best habits I've ever been to. I have an autistic child and honestly, it's not very easy to go out and eat with her, but the staff made it very comfortable and they were very friendly. The Manager I think her name was Stephanie saw me struggling with my child came over to us and was just so sweet and nice trying to make conversation with my daughter helping me calm her down even offered her these Gummies that are her favorite. I've never experienced hospitality this great and it just made me feel more comfortable going out with my daughter, so thank you to the staff for the amazing food, fast service and over all feeling welcomed. read more

Great flavor and portions are respectably spot on. Won't leave you hungry or too full. Ordering service was easy; we walked up to the kiosk and place our order. I did find it rather disappointing that it asked for a tip at the end of our order ?? Why would I tip if I had no one take my order, assist me and bring it to the table?? Nonetheless, came out in a respectable time. Maybe they need to reconsider the lay out or the furniture they have inside. Shame, its close to home but I watched half my food sit for 15 minutes waiting on the last part of it and the food was limp, cold and the bun seemed stale. My other orders have been dry. I had a patty melt when they had the special and that was such a disappointment. Each time, no one welcomed or thanked me and the place is not that clean. Came in to this Habit location next to Zankou, Granada Hills Plaza (store#373) at 7:14pm on 02/24/2026 and ordered a Santa Barbara Charburger with my wife for dinner. We placed order on the self service kiosk and pick up time 7:25. Several customers ordered after us and all received their food while we still waited for ours. Several minutes passed and when i saw everyone else eating that had ordered after us, i made my stand. I asked why is my order taking a long time and the lady replied because i ordered bacon. This was ridiculous. Instead of apologizing i was commented because i orderer bacon?! All this time as i was waiting, i was watching one of the guys working there spraying and wiping the grill overhead as they were cooking patties beneath it smh. Is this really happening!? Yes! Ordered through DoorDash . Paid extra for ranch which is understandable. But It does not give you the option to add ketchup if you add ranch . I also did not see option to add peppercinnis and does not let you make special instructions. So I call the store and I speak to SARAH who was nice but rude at the same time. She proceeds to tell Me any modifications that I need to let my dasher know. And I explain to her that It's not his job: and you don't offer the option on the app and should be able to accommodate . Food is very good, but the place was very dirty. Trash and gloves on the floor behind the counter, floor near the drink dispenser was wet (small puddle), wet floor near tables in walking areas. I told an employee about the wet floor. During the 30 -40 minutes I was there, no one mopped up the floor or even came out to look at it, trash remained on the floor behind the counter, no one wiped any tables after people ate. We have been coming here for years. The food is always good. The Chicken Club was outstanding. I wish there was a few more tables inside. The BEST part was the server Sebastian. While eating my lunch I watched Sebastian go table to table, asking if anyone needed anything. The sweetest was when Sebastian helped an elderly couple get settled. It was not busy when we walked in. It was clean. Friendly staff. We ordered... Charburger combo meal with fries patty melt onion rings Drinks Food was great! Hubby got the patty melt. First time. I had a bite and it was really good. Nice crunch on the rye bread. Fries and onion rings were yummy! Bomb ranch (as always). Bbq sauce is good too. House made Limeades and unsweetened teas were tasty. As we finished our food, a good amount of people walked in. This was a good experience overall. Oh and the bathroom was clean. This isn't really a review for Habit Burger, although the burgers are the best in the business- but a review for one of the employees (Kayla). While waiting for our to-go order, we watched her great every customer with a friendly smile, swept the floor, cleaned up the condiment counter, took orders, and asked the guests if they needed anything. Friendly, professional, and goes beyond her call and it was fantastic to watch! It reminded us of the way things used to be. It's obvious she loves her job and her customers! This isn't an isolated incident. We've been to this Habit many times and have seen her do this each and every time. A perfect example was when I came in to pick up our mobile order and she noticed me holding my motorcycle helmet. Knowing I was going to put the food in my saddlebags, she prepared the order in such a way as to fit perfectly (and with the right bags) to ride away with. This kind of customer service is so appreciated! Kayla, I really wish Yelp offered gold stars, but this 5-star review is for you! Thanks for doing such an outstanding job!
