My husband and I stopped in here on a whim. We had never been before but I had seen it plenty of times. I was excited to finally be able to try it out. I got a Hugo spritz and it was delicious! I really liked it. I had never had one before. We also got the oysters the oysters were amazing. Highly highly recommend those! I am excited to go back and try some other delicious drinks. The service was excellent. They weren't too busy and we were served promptly.

Finally was able to get in for happy hour! Great service and 2 $10 sparkling wines and get fries for a $1. Gonna try the sliders next time they looked and smelled amazing. Definitely will come back.

Nick was fantastic. He exceeded my expectations here. His storytelling was excellent and he was able to recommend exactly the type of drink that I was interested in. I came here to celebrate my graduation and he really made me feel special. I highly recommend coming here.

I'm left a little confused on the service I received. I came in for afternoon reading. I first ordered a happy hour French Blanc de blanc. It came and was a really delightful glass of bubbly. Later the server brought over a serving of duck fat fries that I absolutely did not order. But he brought it over and said "it is yours" so I thought that was complimentary. I would not order it on my own will. It was good fries but I wasn't feeling fries enough to order it. I swear I didn't order it. Later I got a Bad witch cocktail and it was so on theme and very tasty. That was great. Until I got the bill. I was charged for the fries I didn't order. And when I brought it up with the server he insisted that I ordered it. I really didn't order it. His tone was a lot harsh and so I agreed to pay for it. It left a really sour taste in my mouth. I don't know how I feel about the place. It is a clean environment with good lighting. Their drinks are pretty good. But this is a very shocking experience I don't know how to feel.

    caviar on fries

My sister swears about their Baller Fries. She wanted me to try them so bad that she brought me here just for some Baller Fries. It's a small serving of thick cut french fries with a bump of caviar, cubed avocado, shaved asiago cheese, applewood smoked bacon bits, truffle salt, crème fraiche and this white champagne aioli. It's just some fancy fries for $28. The caviar is just for looks because I couldn't taste anything. All of the white sauce on it was good. I wish the fries were served piping hot instead of warm. Overall, it's a cute little spot next to the arena. Great for wine, champagne, bites and outings like date nights or ladies nights. I would definitely come again.

Tasting flight and Oysters in the 1/2 Shell

Fizz is my ideal girly date spot! I'm in love with bubbles and have been visiting this spot for years. Went here recently before the Jonas Brothers concert and it was bustling! Tasting flight was lovely and the oysters in the half shell paired together so well. Even though the bartender (fizz-tender?) was super busy, he was hustling and checked on us to make sure we were taken care of. Love it here and can't wait to come back!

The highlight of this spot is definitely the amazing happy hour special! The champagne and rosé were excellent, and the garlic fries are absolute heaven. Great service! It's a perfect spot for date night--I'll definitely be back!

This spot is cool!! Came in on a Saturday around 1pm. It was early so we had the place practically to ourselves. There was a crowd nearby for a Kings game so we thought we'd escape and have drinks. We ordered a couple flights and wine and they were all tasty. This place has a super wide selection of champagnes. There's no going wrong with any of you like champagne. Service was fantastic. The two behind the bar were pretty attentive even as the place got busy. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu.

    Non-alcoholic option!

Had a work event here the other night. Really appreciate the non-alcoholic options! It was delicious. The charcuterie board was beautifully laid out and huge. There was enough food to feed all of us. Obviously loved the decor- so cozy and perfect for a Galentine's day night. Wish they validated for parking!

The only champagne bar in SAC and they are the best . Nice and welcoming staff . Decorated nicely . Nice menu . Good service . I'll be back to try more sooner than later .

Sparkling rose and oysters for HH
    Jaime C.

I decided to pop in here for a nightcap before heading back to my hotel. It happened to be happy hour so I got the sparkling rose from the HH menu and a couple oysters because why not. Everything was fine. But the service and ambiance were top notch. I would come back to try some more drinks.

    Aperol Spritz was perfect!

What a cute champagne, wine, and cocktail bar! Seating is limited but thankfully I went at a good time and got a great seat at the bar. My friend and I loved our cocktails and the service was super fast. The bartender was friendly and attentive, we will definitely be back!

Another great night at Fizz. As always great service by Nick and Peter. I will come back again and again

When I walked in, none of the servers acknowledged me. Several walked past me for 5-10 minutes before the manager/bartender, Alexis, noticed and asked someone to help me. After I got home, I realized my order was missing some food and syrup. I called the restaurant and spoke with Alexis. She explained what had happened, took full accountability, and made things right. More importantly, she restored my confidence in the restaurant through her professionalism and genuine customer service. I've been visiting The Mimosa House locations in Sacramento and Rancho Cordova since moving to California, and experiences like this are why I'll continue coming back. Thank you, Alexis, for turning a frustrating situation into a positive one. Your excellent customer service did not go unnoticed!

Let me be transparent: it was late morning, I had just had breakfast, and I decided what my body…read moretruly needed was a cocktail. A breakfast cocktail. Judge me if you want, I've already judged myself and still ordered the drink, so your opinion is irrelevant. I Googled "good drinks near me" like a responsible adult, and BOOM, this place appeared like a gift from the cocktail gods. Two minutes away? On foot? I practically floated there. I told myself I'd stroll and enjoy the scenery. I did. I was very sophisticated about it. When I arrived, I found out there's a whole bar hiding inside Oxbow Market. A bar. Inside a market. Genius. I walked in and immediately forgot why I was confused because it was full-on foodie heaven, and the bar reached out with invisible hands and pulled me straight to it. I had no choice. It was gravity. That's when I met Lauren. Lauren was behind the bar, doing her thing, radiating good energy, and I said to myself, "I must sit here and be her problem for the next hour." She was so warm and welcoming that I felt personally invited. I, a stranger. She smiled the whole time, which either means she genuinely loved the conversation or she is an incredible professional. Either way, 10/10. Now, I am notoriously indecisive. I could spend 45 minutes choosing between two identical options. Lauren, a saint, walked me through the entire menu without a single eye roll (that I could see). I finally landed on the boozy strawberry slushy with a prosecco float. Could I have done without the bubbles? Probably. Did I finish every last drop anyway? Absolutely. We talked and laughed like two old friends who had just met, which is my favorite kind of friendship. Lauren also helped me figure out where to eat lunch and dinner once I told her I only eat seafood , and she delivered. The woman is a resource. If you're in Napa, come here. It's adorable. The staff will make you feel like a regular on your first visit, and yes, the prices are Napa prices, meaning everything costs what it costs because Napa has decided it is fancy, and we have all agreed to go along with it. No complaints. Check them out!

Review #1,016 Posted on 3.16.26…read more We came here for lunch while in Napa on Saturday March 7th. They've got a small bar top area to sit at, maybe 10 seats or so. My wife wanted to try caviar, so we actually gave it a spin here for our 1st time. I'd always been nervous about what the taste of caviar would be like. Glad I got to try it out at least once. It basically was a bit crunchy & a bit salty, other than that nothing of note for me at least. I get the price to an extent as it's not day to obtain, but man, it's expensive for what you get, not just here but any place you buy it. Probably a one time thing for me. The other item we got was one of their paninis & salads to share, and some waters. They've basically got a bar top, and most people seem to order their frozen machine drinks. I believe you can pair the frozen flavor with the wine, champagne, etc with it. Nice little spot inside Oxbow to get a quick bite and drink when in town.

The service was excellent; both friendly and attentive. The drinks were on point. And the most important thing of all, was that they have the PERFECT biscuits and gravy. Another location adds diced onions to their country gravy for reasons I cannot understand, but it absolutely ruins it for me. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and had the perfect personality for the atmosphere. Great service can truly elevate a dining experience, and Ryan did exactly that. The food was delicious. I ordered the fish and chips, and the fish was exceptional. The batter was light, crispy, and perfectly seasoned--honestly, I enjoyed it even more than traditional beer-battered fish. The fish itself was flaky and cooked just right. As for the fries, I'm personally a steak-fry enthusiast, so shoestring fries aren't usually my favorite. It would have been nice to have an option to choose between fry styles, but that's me. I also ordered a chocolate martini, which was absolutely delicious. The owner personally prepared it, and it was rich, smooth, and hit the spot . Between the cute ambiance, excellent service, and tasty food, Mimosa House made for a great dining experience. This review is long overdue…read more My friends and I booked a Champagne tasting for party of six. Going into this I had absolutely no idea of what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised with the experience. We tasted three different bottles of Champagne. These bottles aren't ones typically found at your standard chain wine store. Bill provided background information on each and led us in a discussion of the differences. He clearly has a passion for this and loved sharing his extensive knowledge. We opted to have cheese to nibble on while we sipped and chatted. There were two other parties there that night but ours was the largest. There are smaller rooms available but our party was in the main seating area. The experience lasted for several hours and is a must for anyone that loves Champagne. This would be a great experience for birthday party or celebration, for a group or a couple. I think the price is rather reasonable for this experience.

I want to be transparent at the outset: we ultimately did not visit, so this review is not about…read morethe Champagne, the space, or the in-person experience. It is specifically about the reservation handling and customer service we experienced. My partner and I recently moved to the Bay Area and enjoy exploring restaurants, wine, and tasting experiences. Our plan for Thursday, August 13, was to attend the San Francisco Champagne Society Happy Hour at 6:00 PM and then go to our confirmed 8:00 PM dinner at Lazy Bear. Our Lazy Bear reservation was correctly booked for August 13. My partner genuinely believed she had also selected August 13 when booking SFCS through Tock, but the completed reservation and reminder emails showed Wednesday, August 12. We do not know whether the date reset during booking or we simply made a selection error. Either way, we acknowledge that we failed to notice the date shown in those two emails and consequently missed the reservation. The next day, as soon as we discovered the problem, we contacted the owner. We did not request a cash refund. We asked whether our prepaid $102.90 Happy Hour reservation could be moved to an available time that day, either 5:00 or 6:00 PM. The owner explained that he had held two seats, prepared the space, and created a menu for the missed reservation. I understand that resources may have been used and that the original booking was designated nonrefundable. However, the only exception initially offered was an upgrade to a $125-per-person experience. The total would be $334.06, with our original $102.90 credited, requiring us to pay an additional $231.16. The first time offered was 7:00 PM, which would not work because of our 8:00 PM dinner. The owner later offered 5:30 PM under the same upgrade condition. Trying to reach a reasonable compromise, we proposed using our original payment for the same Happy Hour experience that day and separately purchasing a $75 or $125 experience that weekend. We explained that we are Champagne enthusiasts, had just moved here, and wanted to explore the different experiences step by step and potentially become repeat customers. The owner's final offer was that we prepay a completely new $125-per-person reservation for any date that month before a 3:00 PM deadline. Only if we made that new purchase--approximately $334.06--would he allow us to attend the previously paid Happy Hour at 5:00 PM that day. He also stated that we could dispute the charge and might win, that Tock's coverage would still pay him, and that we would then be unable to make any future reservations at his establishment. I understand that a business may enforce a nonrefundable no-show policy. If the answer had simply been a polite "no," I would have been disappointed but would have understood. What created such a negative impression was making a substantial, time-limited additional purchase the condition for any accommodation, even after we offered to purchase another experience separately that weekend. It felt less like a gesture of hospitality or a good-faith attempt to resolve an honest mistake and more like using the mistake as leverage to secure an immediate additional sale. The warning that a billing dispute would result in being barred from future reservations made the interaction feel even more adversarial. This was not about the $102.90 or an unwillingness to pay $125 per person. We were already prepared to make another paid reservation. It was about the principle involved and the way the situation was handled. Based solely on this customer-service experience, we decided not to visit or make any future reservations. Again, I cannot evaluate the Champagne or the on-site experience; this review concerns only the reservation process and the owner's handling of the issue.
