Just got a pedicure today. The pictures are of the single layer of polish clearly showing the smudges. No offer to fix it even to do a second coat. The other picture shows the bloody wound thats a result of 'callous removal that I didn't ask for and there's no callous on the SIDE of my foot anyway! She was talking to friends and paying no attention to my foot. I didn't realize the damage she had done until I got home. Plus, their price sheet was $20 for a basic pedicure but she charged me $25 instead. Avoid this nail salon. read more

I've been twice just to make sure I could give an accurate review. Both times the same girl did my nails, and while she was nice, my nails were the worst they have ever looked. The pink French I got was inconsistent for each nail (some she did two coats and some she did one) so it looked off. The second time I went I got plain funny bunny, and somehow after THREE coats of it it was still incredibly streaky and inconsistent. She applies way too thin of a coat obviously, and might I add takes about an hour and a half for a fill. My pedicure was somebody different, and it was great. If you have to come here, skip the nails and just get a pedicure. read more

She did a great job of overlaying the pink over the white and gave me a little Valentines heart! Wow! Bella is amazing. She took care of me during my first visit here which was yesterday 6/27. I was fiercely loyal to my old nail tech for the past 20 years but unfortunately I moved further away and their quality has gone down. After two months of taking a break with my nails, I knew I made the right choice. I've been on the search for a new local nail salon and with the help of the HB community page on FB & Yelp, I came across this place. I called to make an appointment. It's smaller than most salons but has a cute and relaxing set up with a zen atmosphere. They offer so many services and I can't wait to try in the future! Their pricing is also extremely reasonable. I'm a harsh critic with quality and nails but I don't expect them to be perfect either - I don't knit pick everything. Despite my slight nerves I kept an open mind, Bella took her time with my nails but was also quick and precise. Her attention to detail and technique intrigued me especially with my recent dissatisfaction with my past DIP nail experiences. I came to get tips on for the first time in two years and I asked for dip powder. I was nervous with wearing bold colors but I love it! I am ready for a Miami bachelorette trip next week:) I came to get my gel pedicure today 6/27 since I came with little time to spare yesterday. From the first visit, she was personable and gave great recommendations to help you achieve your desired results while keeping in the mind the health and integrity of your nails. She is a highly skilled artist, as she can recreate any photos you have or bring her own twist to your inspirations. The steadiness of her hands and details on the designs is amazing - she does everything hand drawn!! The salon, itself, though on the older side, appeared well maintained and clean. Staff were professional and friendly from my experience. Shout out to Ivy, as well, who did the most thorough and cleanest job on my pedicure. The lady talked me into "hard" gel. She said it was better for keeping a natural nail. It costed $45 instead of the regular $30 gel polish. She didn't even cut my cuticles or massage. I asked about cutting my cuticles, she said it was $5 more. I asked if you get your cuticles cut with a regular gel manicure, she said yes.... it made no sense. So instead of getting a gel polish, that would have included cutting my cuticles for $30, I got "hard gel" for $45 plus $10 extra for 2 flowers designs... They up sale hard and I don't even like my nails... super bummed! read more

She made the biggest deal because I didn't want gel and yelled it to the others in the salon. Well I ended up with a full set of nails that don't match the color I chose. When she started painting them I said the color didn't match what I asked for, she kept on painting. The nail lengths are inconsistent. I have been going to HB Nails Salon for probably 8 years or more now. I've experienced many different technicians and services here, and I've never had any issues. I love the team and I love their work! Here are some notable things about this spot! 1) Appointments and Wait-Times: Making an appointment is super easy and makes your experience so much more efficient. They do take walk-ins, but on super busy days, it's always better to book an appointment ahead of time. When you get there, all you have to do is check-in at the front for points, and sometimes there could be a wait depending on the staff to customer ratio, but it's never too long (probably 20 min max for me). 2) Service and Space: Quality service is something the staff prioritizes for sure! They always ask if I want something to drink/snack on and help me get comfortable in my seat. Everyone is inviting and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the place is kept clean. They offer a variety of services here but I particularly love getting mani-pedis and the herbal head spa package! 3) Specialists: I am obsessed with BELLA and IVY, they are my go-to dream team! Bella and Ivy always provide excellent and efficient service, and a satisfactory and fun experience! Bella usually does my mani and Ivy usually does my pedi, but they can do either or and always deliver! I've included pictures from my most recent sets, they ate! 4) Pricing and Accommodations: From my personal experience, the pricing has been pretty consistent over the years. It is a bit more expensive now due to inflation, but you get what you pay for, and I have always felt that I paid just about right for the quality I receive. The staff is kind and patient so if you don't like something, just speak up and let them know, they'll be happy to fix it for you! My husband and I have been going there for pedicures, nails and facials for so many years and for the most part service has been good. Today, we had an appointment we made 4 days ago for pedicures. We walked in and obviously the place was understaffed. They were able to start on my husband and not able to take me until 45 minutes later. We have been a faithful customer for years and not the service we expected, especially since we had an appointment. The girl left in charge was very rude.,The owner, Kelly, left for Vietnam which she does frequently leaving the salon in the hands of amateur workers who obviously could care less about faithful customers. They took walk ins instead of reserving time for appointments. I left and made another appointment for another salon and received an amazing pedicure with superior service. Unfortunately, Kelly seems more involved with her make up shows and heading home to Vietnam instead of maintaining a reputable salon with superior service. The people she leaves in charge are rude and inefficient and do not know how to value customers. We will not return. read more

I paid $100 for manicure, pedicure and eyebrows done. The lady who did my nails would sometimes be sloppy and make me bleed, but I never said anything. Today, she did my eyebrows--and she ripped out my eyelashes! I felt a tug on my eyelashes when she did it, but I thought it was my imagination. She handed me a mirror, and I didn't even look at it bc I didn't think anything bad would happen. I went to look at my eyebrows in my car, and I had no eyelashes on my right eye! I immediately went back, and then they tried to argue with me that they didn't do it. I told them my eyelashes would not have fallen off from when I got there to immediately afterward. I asked for my money back, and they gave me $12. $12 for ripping out my eyelashes! This place needs to go out of business. I will never go back to them again. --UPDATE--. As everyone can see, the business owner refuses to take accountability for their worker's actions. Ngoc argues that the eyelashes are far away from the eyebrows, and therefore, it could not have happened that this worker tore out my eyelashes. This argument is quite frankly delusional: Even with proper waxing, wax is out below the eyebrows--however, a competent person ensures that the wax is not put on the eyelash. I actually had wax on my eyelash. Everyone, please see this business for what it is: a health hazard. And the fact that this business denies it by saying that the eyebrows are far from the eyelashes--is offensive. Ngoc, I want you to imagine how it would feel like to have all your eyelashes ripped out. And your response, frankly, makes you a bad person. I have made a complaint with the better business bureau and the cosmetology licensing board. I stand by words, and I have evidence and witnesses in support there of. The excuses continue to be ridiculous, that the promotion started on 22nd. I've provided proof of your post from the 20th with no active date given. You have my number to Zelle me the refund as requested. I will not be spending $200+ a month (lashes and nails) plus decent tips at your salon anymore. Integrity goes a long ways!! I'm writing this review after going round and round with the business. I've been a customer of this salon for over 6 years and have never complained about wait times for my appointment, technician being late, a bad nail job, etc. This past Saturday I had an appointment at 930am. I paid $105 for a fill and pedicure as well as another $40 towards my moms mani/pedi. All went fine. When I got home I noticed that the salon posted on Facebook there was a happy hour discount from 9:30am-2:30pm. There was nothing about needing to ask for the discount. I reached out to the salon on Saturday evening. I requested that my 20% be refunded ($28). They have refused to refund my money. They have offered a 20% discount off my next service (after the past two days I do not want to return) and then after telling them it wasn't right that I needed to come spend more money to get what I was owed. They also tried to say it wasn't valid on Saturday, then why was it posted as such? See pics. I've spent thousands of dollars at this salon over the past 6+ years and the fact they refuse to refund me is extremely frustrating. It's not the amount of the refund but the lack of integrity and customer service at this point. They will lose 4 customers (me, my mom and daughters) over this. I have to update this review as I recently went back to HB Nails and had a horrible experience. HB Nails did offer a partial refund for which I am grateful. I arrived with my long natural nails (that I spent months growing out) filed, shaped, and buffed and explained I just wanted them painted with French manicure, not filed or buffed. The nail tech insisted on filing them shorter then buffed them so hard the entire nail beds are scratched with ridges, then she took the drill buffer to them and filed them so thin it has ruined my natural nails and it was painful. (Why was this necessary?!) She was in such a hurry to move to the next customer that when she messed up the polish she just tried to keep painting over the mistakes! I explained I was not happy with how rough the nails were after she buffed them so hard, the polish was not smooth, she said it 'was fine' (but it's not fine!). I explained I was not happy with the quality of the manicure and insisted she redo it, but was again assured it 'would all be fine.' I waited 45 mins for the polish to dry which of course it never did as there was so many layers of polish at this point. I was told to 'not use my hands for 2 more hours' and then it would 'be fine'. When I complained again, another tech put cuticle oil on and said that would make everything 'fine.' (Annoying how many times I was told everything was fine when it clearly was not!) I had a very special once in a lifetime event to go to that evening and showed up with no nail polish and badly damaged nails, so embarrassing! It will take months for my natural nails to grow back out. I will never get a manicure here again! I came to this salon for years and brought my friends here, used to love this place but they have gone down hill. If a salon can't do a simple French manicure on someone who showed up with the nails filed, shaped, and ready, that is reason for concern! I got gel pedicure here the same day and they did okay. Not the best job but it was good enough for the event. Quality of work used to be much better at HB nails before the pandemic. read more
