PISS POOR service! I went to take my service truck over to get my A/C fix. Not only did they not fix my A/C the first time, my heater does not work now. I took my truck back to get it fixed and they finally fixed my AC somewhat, but still my heater doesn't work. Mind you I don't really need it in MIAMI, but it was working to begin with. My service advisor was in a class by himself, trying to convince me that my heater wasn't working, what a JACK ASS! It it was working fine to begin with. All they had to do was fix my A/C! Long story short and lost of time and lots of money $$$$. They fixed my A/C but heater still does not work now. I will never take any of my vehicles to this place ever again! To whom may concern: I'm writing to report the horrible experience I had today at your service department. the service Number given was N147(ticket found in my car and attach to my car keys). when I arrive today at 9:25am the guy that help me check in my Toyota Highlander was talking over his cell phone, there was never a "hi, how are you?, welcome to Toyota...." just simply him on a call....I waited till he finish to then start the protocol of my check in. I explain I was visiting today for the third maintenance, we go through the protocol and he tells me the car should be ready by 10:30ish, to which I say that's great so I can be at work on-time. I go ahead and have breakfast and waited as usual. started noticing it was taking more than expected and made arrangement at my work to arrive late. around 11:40am the car is ready and parked on the Express Service parking spot outside. Waited 15mins to see if the service person will call me and nothing, went to the lady outside where the service booths are and ask her, and she kindly did what she could to find out what was the status. She was only able to say someone with last name Rodriguez was the person that helped me and was nowhere to be found at the moment. I waited 30mins and nothing happened. Went to the main counter inside the waiting building for service and talk to the gentlemen that was in the desk area to inquire about the situation, expressing that I needed to leave cause I have other things to do, he went with me outside and try to look for who was handling my service and couldn't find the person, he ask the same lady I asked and she replied she had already looked and couldn't find my paperwork or the keys. 20 mins more pass by and finally I get a call from 786-518-1471 telling my car is ready for pick up if I was at the dealer? At that point I had it, I express to him I've been the entire time in the location waiting, I specify that I've been looking at my car for the past 45mins ready to go and no-one is able to find the person that help me or the keys, he then tells me to come outside. When I go outside he shouts my name and did a hand gesture to come to him which I thought it was not professional. I pass by and I express to him how upset I was with the overall experience and he proceeds to try to apologize, at that point I ask him to hand me the papers cause due to COVID-19 'm not stepping into the tiny space with him to sign papers and I tell him to save his apologies and hand me the car keys. He never gave me a receipt of the service, he quickly remove the tag of the number of the service from my keys and ha nd them to me. I'll tell you this, my anger is not at the fact that people need to takes their breaks, and waiting, my anger is on how poorly you handle your customers time. This was completely uncalled for and could've been avoid by simply being on top of you service journey with your customers, clearly that's something that doesn't happen here. Like me there were others that ran a b better luck because their paperwork and keys were found but mines weren't. Pay attention to your service department, this could make you loose business.... What is the deal with the Toyota dealers in South Florida? First I had a horrible car-buying experience at Lipton Toyota, then got disappointed by the service department at Toyota of South Florida, I was desperately hoping this place to be different than the other two. But my dream was quickly shattered by my only experience (and probably the last) here at Headquarter Toyota. After my Prius hit over $35K miles,the service required notification came up. My initial thought was that maybe I just need an oil change and rotate the tires. After the disappointing service I received at Toyota of South Florida, I was hoping this place becomes my go to dealer for service going forward. I arrived at the dealer about 9am, and there was not a lot of people ahead of me. I quickly worked with the service adviser and I was told I need to do a 4-wheel alignment, tire rotation and tire balancing as its recommended by Toyota. The cost of the service would be $134.00. Well, I figured with this car which I plan to keep it for a long time, I better follow the recommended service by Toyota, so I decided to go with it. The service probably took about 2 hours to complete. Its a big longer than I expected but I rather the auto mechanics to be thorough rather than to be rushed. But as soon as I got my car back and started driving to work, I noticed my steering wheel is not straight. If I straighten my steering wheel my car would go toward the left. And while driving on the highway to work, I had to favor my steering wheel more to the right which really worries me. So of course I had to take some time off in the same afternoon, went back to the same service adviser and told her about the problem. She took my car in for another hour to address the issue and return the car back to me. I didn't get any explanation from anybody, the adviser only said the mechanics took the car back in and fixed it. At this point, I am not sure if I should trust their mechanics to work on any service on my car again. Maybe I should start looking for other Toyota dealers in the Palm Beach....? read more

THE WORST. used car dealership ever. they sold me a car that they claimed had 0 accidents. within the same day, I got my car checked out by a third party and everything I asked about before I left the dealership with the car, was true. In regards to pricing: you can't beat calling a dealership up north (say Ft. Worth) and asking for a very specific car / trim level / options and shipping around a few dealerships though. They brought out 2 reps before bringing a "specialist" who told him to "just call the bank and tell them you can't pay," basically default on his car loan so he could buy a 2021 corolla. To believe that these folks would profile his Venezuelan nationality as if poor credit was normalized makes me sick to my stomach. Please steer clear of this Toyota franchise!! I have been a loyal Toyota customer for over 6 years, this experience has prompted me to find a new car brand/ dealership to be a loyal customer too. On 02/24 I brought my 2020 Corolla to the service department for my maintenance. It went smooth, my multipoint inspection showed all green marks - green marks= checked & okay at this time. On 03/07 my car wouldn't start. I thought this was strange since I just got my car serviced a week & a half ago. Luckily my insurance covers roadside assistance. I was told that my car battery was dying & was urged to visit my dealership. I told the service advisor (SA) that I believe my car battery was dying & needed a replacement. He told me he would check the battery. Over an hour & a half later, the (SA) called me to tell me that the car battery was not in stock & I needed to take my car home. Then come back the next day to leave my car until the battery was delivered & use a rental for the time being. I walked over to his booth for further clarification. This is where the SA & the SA's manager showcased unprofessionalism. I didn't understand why my car had a dead battery when on my multi point inspection sheet on 02/24 it indicated that it was green. I don't believe a car battery that is on the verge of dying would be marked as green if anything it would've been highlighted as yellow (meaning may require future attention) or even the red mark (meaning requires immediate attention). Certainly if my battery was thoroughly checked during my previous car maintenance, I would've been told about the status of the car battery. I was only told that I needed an alignment (which I got when I left the car with them). I explained all of this to the service advisor. Instead of trying to assist me or even accommodate me for the inconvenience that I was undergoing, the service advisor instead began to belittle me. One of his suggestions were that I go out, purchase my own car battery and get it installed at the location that I purchased it. I begin to get frustrated because my vehicle warranty covers a car battery so why would I go out of my way to go to another establishment with a car battery that is already dying and needed to be jumpstarted every time that I tried to turn on the car? I have a perfectly good car warranty that I paid for. Then he offered to order an Uber for me so that I can go home. I guess I was supposed to Uber to work the next day, then Uber to Toyota from work to get the rental car because that's when they were open, Monday morning. I was so frustrated that I demanded that I get my car keys back and I figured I would just come back to Toyota the next day. When I tried to leave, of course, my car battery was dead so I had to wait for a technician to come and jumpstart my car. The amount of embarrassment and frustration that I felt on that day still haunts me to this day. The next morning, I had to call AAA to jumpstart my car. I was told that the car battery should be arriving the on 03/12 but I did not receive my car until today, 03/22. When I arrived to pick up my car today, I thought that I would at least get an I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this entire situation has caused. I spent over $70 on gas because I had to make sure that the rental car was filled before I returned it & I still had to fill my cars gas tank up. I already paid for the tire alignment & my car battery was covered, so it would've taken all of five minutes the SA decided that doing some paperwork was more important. Instead of asking other free SA's to at least grab my car/ finish the paperwork, he had me wait for him. I wasn't even given a complimentary car wash. I'd rather drive 10 extra miles to another Toyota franchise that actually showcases professionalism & values their loyal customers. If you can I would suggest visiting Toyota North Miami or Lipton Toyota. read more

This is by far my worst experience ever with a dealership.....I purchased a certified pre owned vehicle (3yrs old) and was given an imaginary warranty....The car needed a completely new AC. How can an AC blow after it was just inspected??? It's been my worst experience-I truly regret purchasing a Toyota....Never buy certified pre owned!! It's a croc! Update: I took their 'diagnostic' paperwork and ordered all the parts listed from a company specializing in AC parts (I spent $294 for aftermarket parts and had them installed by a family mechanic). Guess what? AC still didn't work. This job btw would have cost me $1,700 at dealership. Soooo I went back. For them to turn around and give me $2,500 quote naming the same parts originally (was told that the Mickey Mouse parts I put on don't work and then they added some more parts on my bill.) when I repeatably said that I just put those parts on the car, and it's doing the same thing. I hit a dead end with these people. Needless to say, it turned out to be a quick fix (literally another mechanic took less than 5 minutes) to replace a switch!! Guess how much that part cost me? $40! You go to a dealership for service, for only a couple of reasons: A. It's under warranty B. You bought the car there and think they will handle the car with care-knowing that they will charge you a little extra, but you do this anyways because you think they are the experts with that make and model. Well Headquarter Toyota....you are a joke. You rather hire crappy mechanics or just try to get people for the most money. Either way, your never getting my business again. Went in on Friday night and was approached by a gentleman. I test drove a used Toyota Corolla, and when inquired about the price, he guided us inside. From the beginning of our interaction with the salesman, I clearly told him I was paying cash. We sit at the desk and he asks for my ID. I hand it over and see him inputting information into the computer. After a few minutes, I look at the computer and notice that he's putting my information into a form that says CREDIT APPLICATION. I stop and mention that I already told him I was a cash-buyer and that I don't see the need for him to be putting my information into a credit application. He proceeds to tell me that it's not a credit application he's filling out.. even though I clearly read CREDIT APPLICATION at the top of the screen. At that point, I got extremely upset and asked him for my ID. He takes my ID to whom he says is his "manager" and I had to personally walk up to him to ask him for my ID back again. At that point, a gentlemen "manager" comes to alleviate the tension and mentions that salesmen get paid for each credit they run, and tried to give me the whole "how can I make this situation better and make you our customer".. but at that point, I was SURE I'd never do business with Headquarter Toyota. All I asked for was a PRICE on your vehicle.. and then get told it's "required" to give my information to receive a price? Yeah, I don't think so. Being taken for an idiot = a definite NO from me! I have had a good experience with them, the last time i was there they where fixing my bumper. Once car was completed i noticed front bumper was not put on properly. I went to get an estimate at United Auto Insurance HQ in Miami on Tue 11-16-10, the adjuster told me to go to Head Quarter Body Shop. Reluctant because I have a Mercedes s550 and am use to using a high end body shop. So I dropped off my beast with them and crossed my fingers. So I stopped by and let them work on my rear bumper. I picked up the the car on thursday the 18th of November. Everything was good to go, clean, and FAST! My suggestion is to talk to FREDDY the manager or David his side kick of the body shop and tell them exactly what you want and they'll deliver! Im so satisfied with the work Ill bring in my SL65. I made an appointment for an oil change after finding a coupon on their website ($69.99) the notes specifically mention it (I know because I received a confirmation email). My husband took the car in with my newborn while I was at work, tell me why they ended up charging him double! $140!!! Not only was the coupon mentioned in the notes but it's readily available to anyone and has no barcode or once time use coding. Once I heard this I called to get it cleared up, I must've called 20 times, no one answered. Not their sales department, not the operator, not service, no one! I had to go in myself after work and only after I complained did I receive a partial credit. I was told by the associate that he should've printed the coupon (something I've never had to do, since again it's not unique, I've always just shown my phone). I spoke to a manager and just got a blank stare and mediocre apology. After years of servicing my vehicle here I won't bother to go again. Oh and also, if you get a vehicle serviced here they'll be sure to call you shortly trying to upsell you into a new one. This headquarter Toyota was recommended to me by my parents, and I will never again go here because the service is just that bad. The first day I visited this place (10/4/16) I went in for a ill detail that costs 99.50. I had made my appointment on the phone for 12:00 on that Tuesday. As I go in the guy I was supposed to ask for some guy named Gonzalo, and he said that he wasn't staying because he was supposed to clock out. So then the manager, Hermuth Reese, proceeds to attend me. I wanted to see if I can get my brakes changed as well. Not a problem. The total was about 295.95 give or take. I waited five hours at the dealership for the work to get done. When my car is finally finished, the manager tells me that they never did the detail, only the brakes. So he charged me for the brakes ($229.47). He then told me to come in the following Tuesday for a discounted full detail for $70 (I had him write it down with his signature to make sure), but it he kept changing he price and said it was 79.99. Afterwards he gave me a free wash and he told me it would take 15 minutes when it actually took them 45 minutes. The following Tuesday I returned and Hermuth attended me again. I then talked to him about the discounted full detail and asked him if it was still 79.99. He said it was, but plus tax. At this point I was fed up because they kept changing the prices, and it was getting quite annoying. I waited 2 hours. The discounted detail was not worth the money. I would believe they would serve a customer better than they did the last time, but they just did a crappy job on the detail. They said that they did all they can do. The total was $86.95. I called the dealership in the next hour and the manager told me to please not write a bad review anywhere. But people should know what they are paying for. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants quality service. This headquarter Toyota is full of false promises and number games. I am very enraptured by Gonzalo Martinez who spoke so respectfully. It's not like Lehman Toyota who don't even address you with a hello. They just approach you with a clipboard and you point to the warning light indicator. Furthermore, I am here because I got a warning that my tire pressure is low. I had added air this morning but the tire pressure was still low. The atmosphere is very spacious. I'm looking forward to give my final report on the service. Final review: I never overly pay fix a flat i said a flat tire for total cost of $23.95 for one flat tire. This was ver pricey. I noticed $17.95 for labor and part was $2.00 and store charge hidden fees of $1.80. That was outrages. read more

Oil change and rotation for $58 !!! I came to the dealer to do an oil change for a coupon that it was sent to my house from headquarter Toyota for $17.50. When the receptionist called me to pay she tells me that my balances was $58. I was so confuse because I came to do an oil change for 17.50 according to the coupon I had. The service advisor fix this over charge and At the end I ended up paying $24.62 instead of $17.50. I also schedule an appointment earlier today online and nobody call me back to set my appointment so I showed up at the dealer. Also I was not able to use my rewards point because the service coordinator gave a "discount" ???!!!I he over charged me !!! I believe you should be able to use your rewards even if you using a coupon, those are point you accumulate every time your spent money. Advisors should tell the tire rotations are not complementary. I should've have go to pep boys , oils change and tire rotation for $19.99 on week days with a coupon. Headquarter Toyota will always find away to over charge you for the service. I bought a 2021 RAV 4 from Headquarter Toyota. It was a very difficult process since they showed no interested in helping me buy a car. I waited it out and finally got it on June 7th. I went to use the Navigation System and it said it's not installed. So I called and they said make an appointment with Service, which I did. Just got back! Service had a very nice person that got in the car and tried to help, but said it wasn't installed. The other person told me to go to Sale, which I did. After several attempts to get them to help they sent to Olin Mayoral, the Finance Manger? He made some calls and told me Soto was waiting to install it. Soto told me he couldn't do it without a USB cable for my phone. I didn't have one with me and he said he didn't have one. I asked if anyone in the entire dealership might have one. He told me to sit and wait. I stood and watched him go outside and get on his phone. He then came in and told me he went in the back and there was none there...he didn't go in the back. I then went to go back to the Manager and Soto told me he was in a meeting. The door was locked to that corridor so I couldn't go back in. Worst dealer experience ever! read more

I bought a Corolla S and left very happy. Two weeks later I get a call from them telling me that I needed to come back and bring 2,000.00 Dollars in order to keep the car. The guy admitted to me that the trick was to get people emotionally attached to the car, even though the bank didn't fully approve the buy. I was only pre-approved. I felt tricked by the whole thing. I spent 4 hours there trying to get them to lower the down payment. What a headache I now call it headCUTTER Toyota. Eventually we worked out a deal different then the first one. I had to give a little more down but they worked with me to pay it off in 3 months. and they even lowered the total car amount in order for the bank to approve. I kept the car but the whole situation stressed me. They shouldn't let someone take a car for two weeks if they knew it was not fully approved. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing for car buyers but it was my first experience. I am very happy with the car and i would have been happy with the dealer if they didn't add extra stress on me. I must say that George Borroto and Orlando fixed the whole thing and treated me kind. The guy that made the mistake was cut out of the deal at the end. This review is for their collision department: Long waits every time I went there. Management failed to call back multiple times when they said they would. The car took a couple of months to fix, which I understand that parts were needed and were being waited on but it took several calls on each occasion just to find out why my car was being delayed due to management forgetting to call back the client (me). Car was left outside when the car was vulnerable to environmental issues such as rain and rain got in the car. The place is run like a third world little country. And when is time for you to pay for service, the cashiers act like you are disturbing them. Bad attitude seems to be part of their training. Know this dealer for over 20 years, same problem. Go there because is close to home and hoping things got better but management is still a sleep at the wheel. read more

Never communicated with customer service after the last review, but ended up being enticed to return when my car needed regular servicing and they had a great coupon on their website. Specifically requested an appointment NOT with Yasmany, so I got set up with Harold. Service went very smoothly this time, so it seems that the spotty service is more dependent on the individual tech and not representative of the department as a whole. read more
