This place is awesome. Great service, cool venue, amazing food. I went looking for a vegan option place and this place delivers. I ordered a Caribbean sandwich, with a tangerine salad on the side and it was fantastic. Great flavor and presentation. I also ordered a smoothie with whey protein and almond milk, it was delicious. They also have other sandwich options which looked delicious, and maybe when I'm not on a vegan/vegetarian diet I'll come back for one of those too. The decor is relaxed and welcoming with a nice variety of shared books and local newspapers encouraging you to stay a while. As mentioned the staff is friendly, will offer recommendations if you don't know what to choose. You can tell most of them are having fun while there, I got to hear them singing and laughing while preparing food. Had to put down the phone and enjoy the moment. read more

This place is GREAT. The pesto turkey sandwich was especially good and normally I'm not even a fan of sandwiches. Turkey meat from an average sandwich is too dry for me and is not marinated all the way through. But the turkey used in this sandwich was very soft and flavorful all the way through. The bread in a typical sandwich place is either hard or stale. Not here. The bread they used was fresh and very porous and felt very easy to bite into, so it felt like it was part of the sandwich. This place is absolutely delicious! People are so afraid of vegetarian food, but at Something Healthy, eating healthy is easy. So far I've tried the vegetarian southwest, parmesean and mediterranean wraps as well as the vegetarian sundried tomato turkey. Everything has been incredibly fresh and beyond tasty. I appreciate the fact that they make all of their dressing from scratch. My husband the carnivore even loves the vegetarian options here. Something Healthy recently introduced some great vegan options. I had their Compassionate Club panini today and it was AWESOME!! The vegan chicken was amazing.. tastes better than regular chicken. Interesting place right by the gym. Not very original or vast selections but what they do, they do well. The shop has a very minimalistic feel to it, from the colors to the decor, even the food comes looking pretty homemade, but of course the point is that they're healthy, or at least healthier than most. Love this place! Perfect for a quick, healthy, fresh, and delicious meal after the gym. I almost always get the Southwestern wrap. Love the black bean hummus they use! They used to make it with sundried tomatoes but now they make it with fresh tomatoes and avocados-- still super delicious though. Their smoothies are not bad. Price is okay for the portions. The staff here is always friendly and the cafe is always clean. I think they also have free wifi which is another great perk of eating here. The only bad thing is they now close by 3:30pm everyday, so those of us who don't work in the area on weekdays can't get food here anymore after work or the gym. Thanks to my best friend and her hubby, I have fallen in love with this place. I went out of my way to drive my sister and boyfriend out to Monrovia from La Puente just to try it for once in their stinkin lives! I was so excited to share the health! Anywho, they both loved it and its affordable. It also gives me an excuse to roam the area and head out to Arcadia for some shopping or windown shopping. I always feel like its worth it. The food is delicious, the staff is cool beans, and you can't beat dollar tea that you enjoy to your taste. Vegetarians like me will enjoy this place. This is my first time here! It's right next to a 24 hour fitness. Found this place on yelp so my babe and I decided to give this place a try. He ordered the tuna avocado wrap with a strawberry banana smoothie, and I ordered the Mediterranean chicken wrap with a fountain drink which soda wasn't an option (which I like very much). According to my boyfriend, the wrap was full of flavor, light in your tummy and delicious. The strawberry banana smoothie is ok, nothing special. My wrap was really good with lots of flavor, and good amount of dressing. It does take awhile for your food to come, but hey it's made fresh so why not wait a little bit. The choices for the fountain drinks are decaf watermelon juice, decaf green tea mixed with another tea, and decaf black coffee. I choose watermelon juice and it was pretty good, but I added a sweetener. Overall I give this place four stars! I will be returning here :) read more

I found out about and tried Something Healthy for the first time today. My friend knew that I am vegan, and she thought that this would be a great place to take me - turns out she was right!! So many vegan options!! Two things though... 1) I wish that there were more vegan options that do not contain fake meat. I much prefer pure, unprocessed veggie power :) 2) I wish that it was shown/listed/advertised what type of fake meats are used here. There is a wide variety of fake meats on the market, some that are super grossly processed and unhealthy, and others that are much more natural and are actually quite healthy - I would like to know which type is being served here! All in all, if I am ever in the area again and am looking for something great to eat, I will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!! And the service was very nice, so thats always a good plus! read more
