this place is insulting. i don't ever leave bad reviews but i just received my ubereats order and there is something wrong with every item. the cream cheese bagel has almost no cream cheese. it has maybe 10%? of what a normal cream cheese bagel at any other donut shop would come with. you can't even taste any cream cheese. not only that- if i ordered this at another donut shop AND paid for extra cream cheese it would still cost less than what i paid for here. lol the coffee is not filled to the top (80%) and the ice is extremely light. if they added two more full scoops of ice, the cup would be *almost* full. they couldn't just do... that? to make it appear more full? the bacon cheese croissant is severely lacking ingredients. i'm not surprised though after eating the bagel and seeing the coffee cup. would never come back or recommend this place to anyone read more

I have been going to this Mom and pop shop since high school!!! For reference I'm now 24 :,) I've seen this establishment grow and remodel yet their rice balls remain the same. My favorite snack to get here when I'm in a quick need of onigiri is their teriyaki chicken rice balls. They have other flavors such as salmon, spicy tuna, spicy salmon..etc Maybe it's the nostalgia that hits whenever I eat these, but I enjoy them so much. The creamy flavor of the sauce along with the chicken all packed in a little onigiri, how can I resist??? While I know it's not the most unique life changing experience, the service and dedication of the owners and joy these little rice balls give me is something I had to share! A 626 staple!! First time here with a friend in the early morning. It's located in a plaza so the parking situation isn't too bad. Very spacious seating area, pretty comfortable and clean. There are many items to choose from the menu, some snacks and dessert on the side cooler sections. Make sure to order from the screen menu because the paper one is outdated with incorrect pricing. I was confused about being charged more. I got myself a Vietnamese coffee but it was not a full cup with light ice to be aware. The flavor is okay. It's no Joke when I say I can't cope without caffeine running down my throat.So if you're on the same boat take a note what I'm about to flow so ya know. If you're looking for coffee that's more of a frappe or a smoothie then it's a go. But as far as specialty coffee then it's a no. I did try their cold brew which was kinda rough for the tastebuds but I took hard sips. Their Vietnamese coffee seems to be a popular choice and that too was a rough rowdy drink. It really wasn't enjoyable but if you need a fix of caffeine then yeah kinda. Beware of the prices! For a small it was six ninety five but when she rang it up it came out to almost eight bucks! I was like Hey! The price?! She said the owner forgot to change the prices. Not cool man! So not cool. They place has really no coffee shop feel and it just smells like stale food for some reason and there wasn't anyone there with food. So the Jokes on me on this caffeinated fail. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to share my experience here. This coffee shop was honestly one of the worst I've ever been to. I came in hoping to relax, maybe get some work done, but the entire visit left me upset and shaken. The coffee itself was terrible--bitter, burnt, and almost undrinkable. I tried to be polite and asked if they could remake it, but the staff member just gave me attitude, rolled their eyes, and made me feel like I was the problem. I've worked in customer service before, so I understand that everyone has bad days, but this went beyond that. They were flat-out unfriendly and dismissive. What hurt the most was how uncomfortable they made me feel for even being there. I left without finishing my drink and actually cried outside because of how humiliating the interaction was. No customer should ever feel that way, especially in a place that's supposed to be welcoming and calm. I really hope the management takes this seriously and treats people with a little more kindness in the future. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless things change drastically. read more

Was curious about this place for the longest and I finally stopped by. I came this morning to try their Vietnamese coffee (M). I noticed that their menu has latte drinks and blended lattes (basically fraps). I'm not a fan of blended drinks in the morning but the flavors listed were interesting. I got my coffee and it was underfilled. There was a half inch gap from the top. The drink was fine and service was good. The Viet coffee wasn't made the traditional way so the flavor of the milk tasted different. Would return again to try other drinks. read more

This place is a joke just like it says in it's name. I went in for a Vietnamese coffee and they made it with powder milk. What kind of coffee is that?!?!? That is a joke. Vietnamese coffee is condensed milk and Vietnamese coffee with ice but powder milk?!?! They lost a customer! I do not recommend coming here. Staff and service are terrible and rude. I needed a place to work and sit (this was during after school hours after Arcadia High has been released, many students come here to this plaza to grab a bite), the drink shop next door was packed, so I came here instead. They have an odd policy, while I understand not allowing non customers to come in and sit unless they made a purchase. They told me before I sat down I must make a purchase first. I did do that, I bought something from them and then I brought a drink in from next door, they kicked me out, extremely rudely. I find this really frustrating and upsetting, especially with pretty much everything they have in their store is all overpriced. Overpriced for a mediocre quality. They also sell snacks at a high price to attempt to cash grab at the students of AHS. (A bag of chips being over 5 dollars) Their food is overpriced and bland, poor quality of ingredients, as well as the drinks. Their drinks are all made with different powders, which all can be seen with canisters behind the counter, labeled with the different powders. Their drinks tend to be small and really sweet too. Also considering the students that go around here, students don't always have this much money to purchase things and just need somewhere to sit. I feel like their prices and their "policy" is extremely restricting and unwelcoming, especially the staff always being rude and unfriendly. Because of these reasons, I no longer come here and refuse to ever step in. Their ambiance is alright however but that's only if you can experience it without being kicked out, or if you have money to even sit here. If you're really looking for a nice drink, I suggest checking out Tea Brick next door on the left instead, and try their drinks and better quality food. I came here for a quick snack, and I was hoping to find some good options here. When I walked in, I noticed that this place is spacious, and has plenty of seating. This would be great to come with a large group of friends after school or on a nice evening. There were several things for sale in their cooling units, but most snacks or drinks didn't really appeal to me. I decided to get an apple turnover, and passed on the coffee as I've already had enough that day. I got the turnover heated, and headed back to my car after checking out. The turnover was delicious, and did not sit to heavy with me. In fact, it gave me a bit of energy without giving me much of a sugar crash. The staff here was friendly, and they keep this place clean. I don't know if I'd be back here, due to it being far away from home. But it's an alright option in the Arcadia area. read more

Been coming here for over 5 years. The owner and her husband are super nice and the rice balls are amazing! Big size & super fresh. I always crave these when trying other rice balls, nothing compares. For drinks, the Vietnamese ice coffee & Passion Fruit tea (with little sweetener) are my favorites. This is a local gem. The owners are the most hardworking friendliest faces around. They use Groundwork Organic Coffee. Everything else they create practically from scratch. The hidden ingredient in here is love, and you can taste that. The ambience is super-relaxing; casual and friendly. The almond croissants are HUGE. Did I mention they make fresh chicken salads as well? Not only that ; they created an APPLE croissant! It was huge! Not too sugary or greasy! Flaky and layered enough to rival the French! I also ordered a cappuccino and lavender milk tea with Boba. Cappuccino was dreamy; lavender milk tea was fresh and neither was acidic. Will be back soon... read more

First time here...needed a iced coffee! So I tried the Extreme Toffee Coffee and it was delicious!!! I'll def stop by again whe I'm in the area to try out their unique iced and hot coffees! This is a really cute and affordable little place across from the Arcadia Public Library. It reminds me of the campus cafes I used to go to for break snacks during college. Coffee is pretty good, some drinks are a little sweet and heavy but I expect that from blended drinks or Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai tea anyways. Lots of croissant options for a quick breakfast (which they will warm up for you) and I love being able to grab a couple of rice balls if I didn't have time to bring lunch to work (they're stuffed). They've also offer meal sets and lots of snacks and bottled drinks. Never been charged tip automatically, never not had an option for a receipt. They're friendly and efficient, and they're open from something like 6 AM to 9 PM. It DOES get a little crowded weekday afternoons when the kiddos are out of school, but I've never had to wait very long regardless and the kids are pretty well behaved. It's basically ideal for students or something quick for adults. read more

Granted that I had never ordered orange chicken from this place before and learned a hard lesson and that is to read the reviews before ordering! And now here I am posting this review to save you all the trouble from getting the orange flavored bread fluff bowl. I recall the lady calling out that my food was ready that "It's really good!" Don't put Orange Chicken Bowl in your menu if it doesn't have any chicken please advise prospective customers what the bowl truly consists of! They couldn't give me a refund! They said, "you order, I make" and "Not my fault that you don't like it" and they were just laughing at me and calling me "My friend". Gettt out of here with that nonsense.
