    Vietnamese Coffee

First time here with a friend in the early morning. It's located in a plaza so the parking situation isn't too bad. Very spacious seating area, pretty comfortable and clean. There are many items to choose from the menu, some snacks and dessert on the side cooler sections. Make sure to order from the screen menu because the paper one is outdated with incorrect pricing. I was confused about being charged more. I got myself a Vietnamese coffee but it was not a full cup with light ice to be aware. The flavor is okay. Overall it was an okay experience, it's always nice to catch up with a friend no matter what.

Traveling to Covina California and I wanted a coffee so bad I Googles d the nearest coffee place. I figured why not give a small business a try. Sad experience or the Vanilla Latte with Soy milk the large see pic was $7.49 cents It was not all that. The coffee was mostly foam and sold me an small Danish for $3.49 Bad coffee Too expensive Not worth the value

Nice coffee shop with lots of drink, snack, and food options. They have a very spacious area and chill atmosphere. The owner is friendly and makes the drinks well. They have a wide variety of Asian snacks too which I have never seen at a coffee shop before.

It's no Joke when I say I can't cope without caffeine running down my throat. So if you're on the same boat take a note what I'm about to flow so ya know. If you're looking for coffee that's more of a frappe or a smoothie then it's a go. But as far as specialty coffee then it's a no. I did try their cold brew which was kinda rough for the tastebuds but I took hard sips. Their Vietnamese coffee seems to be a popular choice and that too was a rough rowdy drink. It really wasn't enjoyable but if you need a fix of caffeine then yeah kinda. Beware of the prices! For a small it was six ninety five but when she rang it up it came out to almost eight bucks! I was like Hey! The price?! She said the owner forgot to change the prices. Not cool man! So not cool. They place has really no coffee shop feel and it just smells like stale food for some reason and there wasn't anyone there with food. So the Jokes on me on this caffeinated fail. And that's my take on it, Peace out peeps.

I had their Vietnamese Coffee and seaweed wrapped rice ball. Incredible. The coffee was semi sweet and strong. The rice ball was delicious. So much so that we went back in to buy the last one in stock. The man behind the counter was very polite. I came in 1hr before closing, so I cannot speak on the ambiance. Overall, I was happy. I will be back. 100%

The decaf Americano was also surprisingly solid, especially compared to many other decaf coffees I've had. The café has a clean, comfortable interior with several tables, making it a nice spot to get some work done. The staff member who helped us wasn't particularly warm or smiley, but the service was efficient and everything was prepared well.

There are some tables but they fill up quick. It's a great place to study/work and the music they played was decent. I ordered the croissant-cado sandwich and it was okay; there wasn't enough toppings so all I could taste was egg. I originally wanted to get a pastry but the selection available didn't look very appetizing. I also ordered the matcha matcha cloud and it was also okay. It had a nice green color but the flavor wasn't as strong as I would have liked but it was almost there. My friends ordered biscoff lattes and they were good! I would go again but probably get the biscoff latte and eat beforehand.

I kept thinking, *"How many boba shops do we really need?"* One thing that stood out was their ordering system - they don't use the usual percentage options for sweetness and ice. Instead, they have "Perfect Sweet" and "Perfect Ice." Whatever that means, right? I was still skeptical. I waited until I got home so my wife and I could try it together. Mind. Blown. Even though it's a bit of a drive for us, we've already gone back three times in a month. That might not sound like much to some people, but for us to make a special trip just for boba says everything. It's not the fastest. You'll probably wait 5-10 minutes in full, but perfection takes time, and it's absolutely worth it. Suggestion: a stamp or loyalty card would be awesome. No disrespect to the brand, but I think the real Torotea fans would appreciate it.

They provide self-serve water outside of the store in the case that there is a long wait. Fortunately, this has never been the case when I have visited. The employees were also super helpful and very well-versed with their menu. They knew exactly what drink paired well with what jelly. All the drinks are true to the taste profile as described on the website. The Popcorn Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi is one of the most popular items and it was indeed very buttery. It had a very unique taste profile, but definitely not for me. I personally really really really enjoyed the Misty Oolong MT which had a light-roasted, malty flavor with subtle buttery highlights. It paired perfectly with the osmanthus jelly. The best drink Torotea has to offer by far!

Brightly lit interior with a simply designed aesthetic. Many folks were relaxing and enjoying the conditioned air. While the shop served plenty of in-house made coffees and teas, off to the side was a refrigerated section brightly displaying bottled Chaparittas tangerine soft drink and Tehuacán mineral water. I decided on ordering an Oaxacan tostada which came completely smothered in black beans, cabbage, queso fresco, and salsa verde. It was refreshing and made for a quick, light snack while also being deceptively filling. While waiting for the order, I noticed their NY Cookies which came in two kinds. One was simply the regular chocolate chip variety, while the other came packed with white chocolate chips, ate de membrillo (quince cheese), and tejocote (hawthorn fruit paste). I decided on the second one and enjoyed the unique flavors of the bits and pieces, even though it was very sweet. All in all, would definitely come back to dine and chill out.
