I used to come here years ago, but they stopped running the air conditioner so I stopped coming. But since the new owner Huy, took over, he's been running the AC so I came back. He's also been making lots of changes, like changing the decor here and there. All are welcome improvements. They also offer complementary waters and soft drinks. But I have to say the star of this place is Kathy. She does such a great job with my French style nails. She's fast and she doesn't make me soak my nails in acetone for an hour like they do at other places. She uses her electric nail file to take off the old gel. I'm much happier, not having my hands sitting in chemicals. I think one day the scientific community is going come out and say that soaking in acetone was really bad for you. Anyway, it's a non-issue with her. She doesn't need it. Also, the product she's using is top-notch. Because I have gone as long as five weeks and not had any lifting. I could've gone longer, but I can't stand the long length when it grows out. Honestly, I've had zero lifting. This is not an exaggeration. I've been coming here for about 10 months now and never once have there has been any lifting, which is shocking to me. (most other places start lifting around 2-3 three weeks) Anyway, whatever product that they're using is amazing or she's got some special technique. Not sure which maybe both. All I do know is she is my girl now. I have to say she's not real chatty, but that's OK, because gives me a chance to unwind. And I don't feel like I have to share my whole life story. Also, I don't want to undersell the other ladies because they ALL do a nice job with the pedicures. I don't have any complaints so far. They also do eyebrows and I think facials, I haven't tried either of those yet. Lastly, , I want to mention that they do take appointments Give this place a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Builder gel feels more natural and light for me. I added extensions so that I can get used to typing with these sets with grace. I did quite a bit of research between hard gel, soft gel and even acrylic but I went with builder gel because I want my natural nails to grow stronger. I wanted to match my jade bracelet and lunar new design since it's coming and I have an excuse to come back for fill. Natalie was my nail tech, and she was awesome. I need to start setting aside nail funds because next design it's going to be Gojo from JJK.

Dunno what lotion they rubbed on my legs, some orange stuff then white stuff, but it made my legs feel like sponges the rest of the day, in a good way. The massage chair was pretty nice too, although a bit too intense at base settings. If I had to say any issues though, it was a bit unclean in some areas; I guess that's the price you pay without the acetone bath. Also, it was fairly hard to communicate with the staff in some cases. I hate feeling like a demanding customer, but for the price of a professional salon manicure, you shouldn't walk out with jagged edges and a visible gap at the cuticle. I wanted to leave feeling pretty, pampered, and ready to show off my nails, but I walked out feeling like I could've done a better job myself at home. I even paid extra for the Cat's Eye feature, but the effect is barely noticeable--it just looks like standard polish. The polish didn't go all the way down to the cuticles on some nails, leaving a massive gap that makes the manicure look like it's already a week old. The filing job was totally rushed. The sides of my nails have jagged edges, and the cuticle work was so poorly done that I left with hanging skin and ragged cuticles. It looks completely unfinished. It's incredibly frustrating to invest the time and extra cash only to receive subpar results.

I would say the nails were almost perfect. I liked Natalie's honesty because she told me what would look good for my nail shape and she made sure to do the little things that would make my nail look good, polish and clean instead of just saying yes to everything. Overall, Natalie did so well that I am definitely booking again in the future. My only concern is the timing and the time allotted for each client. On the app, I am giving 1 hour and 30 mins. When I first came in, I had to wait about 20 mins before I got seated. Then, about after an 1 hour, 15 mins in, her next client came in and I can tell she was feeling rushed. So I would recommend giving extra time or edit the settings on the app to allot more time for each client. But other than that, everything is great!
