I used to come here years ago, but they stopped running the air conditioner so I stopped coming. But since the new owner Huy, took over, he's been running the AC so I came back. He's also been making lots of changes, like changing the decor here and there. All are welcome improvements. They also offer complementary waters and soft drinks. But I have to say the star of this place is Kathy. She does such a great job with my French style nails. She's fast and she doesn't make me soak my nails in acetone for an hour like they do at other places. She uses her electric nail file to take off the old gel. I'm much happier, not having my hands sitting in chemicals. I think one day the scientific community is going come out and say that soaking in acetone was really bad for you. Anyway, it's a non-issue with her. She doesn't need it. Also, the product she's using is top-notch. Because I have gone as long as five weeks and not had any lifting. I could've gone longer, but I can't stand the long length when it grows out. Honestly, I've had zero lifting. This is not an exaggeration. I've been coming here for about 10 months now and never once have there has been any lifting, which is shocking to me. (most other places start lifting around 2-3 three weeks) Anyway, whatever product that they're using is amazing or she's got some special technique. Not sure which maybe both. All I do know is she is my girl now. I have to say she's not real chatty, but that's OK, because gives me a chance to unwind. And I don't feel like I have to share my whole life story. Also, I don't want to undersell the other ladies because they ALL do a nice job with the pedicures. I don't have any complaints so far. They also do eyebrows and I think facials, I haven't tried either of those yet. Lastly, , I want to mention that they do take appointments Give this place a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

The salon is beautifully designed--modern, clean, and well-lit. Everything felt updated, and the chairs looked brand new and super luxurious. I went with their most deluxe package, and it did not disappoint. It came with a tray of oranges, scrubs, lotions, and salts that all smelled amazing--such a nice touch. Laura was my nail tech, and she was incredibly sweet and attentive. She checked in often to make sure I was comfortable, asked if I needed water, and made sure the temperature was just right. She was also very gentle during the exfoliation and scrubbing, which I really appreciated. When it came to polish, she made sure I liked the base color before moving forward--good thing she did, because I ended up switching it. I got a French tip with a flower design, and she took her time with every detail. My toes came out absolutely beautiful. 10/10 would recommend. I hate feeling like a demanding customer, but for the price of a professional salon manicure, you shouldn't walk out with jagged edges and a visible gap at the cuticle. I wanted to leave feeling pretty, pampered, and ready to show off my nails, but I walked out feeling like I could've done a better job myself at home. I even paid extra for the Cat's Eye feature, but the effect is barely noticeable--it just looks like standard polish. The polish didn't go all the way down to the cuticles on some nails, leaving a massive gap that makes the manicure look like it's already a week old. The filing job was totally rushed. The sides of my nails have jagged edges, and the cuticle work was so poorly done that I left with hanging skin and ragged cuticles. It looks completely unfinished. It's incredibly frustrating to invest the time and extra cash only to receive subpar results.

irene saved my nails today on such short notice. her attention to detail, honesty, and expertise…read morecompletely won me over and i cannot wait to return for my next appt. for context, the day prior to my walk-in at kim nails, i went to another salon and received gel x that was poorly fit (my sidewalls were still showing on 6 out of 10 nails), an ombre that was not blended whatsoever, and extensions that were sloping so far up my coworker two desks over asked me if i wanted her to fix them for me. i couldn't endure it so i decided to go to kim nails near my work and ask them to just soak it all off and redo the entire set. irene took one look at my nails, patiently heard me out, and got to work. instead of a new set, she and her coworker filed down all that previous unshaped bulk and gave me the best acrylic fill of my life. irene dedicated extra time to filing and shaping my nails pre-builder gel and then even more time post-builder gel to create the perfect apex and minimize unnecessary weight. ive never had a nail tech use three different drill bits just to refine my nail shape before at a salon. she even filed underneath the nail where the gel from the previous extension had built up - without me asking! this all by itself was more than i could have asked for, but then i find out that they have asian nail polishes, too! ive always brought very translucent/transparent inspo pics to my appts and have always been let down by opaque polishes. but at kim nails they have the exact type of translucent jelly nail polishes i have been looking for!! irene also perfected the subtle cateye gleam that i love and have been unable to achieve at home. when i inquired re: designs, irene informed me that if she feels like she can't do a design justice, she'll be upfront with her client and let them know. i value this honesty so much because i am lowkey nonconfrontational and have watched my nails become something totally different than the inspo i brought to the table. to top it all off, they have a very, very affordable pricing for a very efficient appointment. for the same duration and more effort, i almost spent under half of what i paid just the day before for my previous set. (i tipped over 50% to match because it would feel like a moral failure to pay irene any less than what i paid for my failed set.) all in all, 5 out of 5 stars i am endlessly grateful. my pictures do not do this establishment justice and for that i apologize i will take better pictures with my next set!!!

I would say the nails were almost perfect. I liked Natalie's honesty because she told me what would look good for my nail shape and she made sure to do the little things that would make my nail look good, polish and clean instead of just saying yes to everything. Overall, Natalie did so well that I am definitely booking again in the future. My only concern is the timing and the time allotted for each client. On the app, I am giving 1 hour and 30 mins. When I first came in, I had to wait about 20 mins before I got seated. Then, about after an 1 hour, 15 mins in, her next client came in and I can tell she was feeling rushed. So I would recommend giving extra time or edit the settings on the app to allot more time for each client. But other than that, everything is great!
