The smoked salmon and bacon, tomato, burrata bruschetta were great, and the prosciutto ricotta fig was my favorite by far. All of them were on a delicious piece of toasted bread, and I thought it was a great deal. They are great to share as they are cut into 4 pieces. Postino's is IT!!! I came here with some friends on a lunch date and this is definitely getting added to my Houston go-tos list. It's a really spacious restaurant and they have a super large patio so it's perfect for good weather days. Me and my friends ordered three bottles of wine, including a riesling, a moscato, and a cabernet because during happy hour, select bottles are half off and glasses of wine are six dollars each!!! What a steal!! I heard that they were famous for their bruschetta board which come with four different bruschetta flavors of your choosing -- however I wasn't too hungry so I asked our waiter if we could get it individual one (becuase I didn't see that option available on the menu) and they were amazing at accommodating to my request. The staff is also very accommodating, trying their best to find preferred seating and also explaining all the menu options and their personal recommendations when asked. We love the Board + Bottle and the options are always high quality and of a good variety. An old favorite was the perfect Riesling, which I was sad was not an option last time. All of the Bruschetta options were great, but the Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese was out of this world! The goat cheese and jam really complemented each other to create a sharp, but pleasing flavor profile. Some other standout pieces were the Brie, Apple & Fig Spread and the Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone (who doesn't love a good Prosciutto!). I also like how they have trial flavors (like the elote one) in order to see what patrons think. I was very disappointed with the "crispy" part. The only crispy thing was the rehydrated raisins. The waitress came to take the order shortly before I finished the appetizer. I ordered Italian Beef Panini Dip with salad. The food was fresh. The dip was too salty. The roast beef was bland, maybe because I asked for no cheese. Oh by the way, I don't see any vegan dishes. Everything has cheese. Vegetarian maybe. I had to ask for no cheese because I'm lactose intolerant. Sadly, the kitchen failed to replace the saltiness of cheese with something. Another problem, waitress didn't come by to check on my water level or how I was doing. I saw another waitress stepping on a chair to reach for wine bottle behind me. She did say "excuse me". But don't you have stepladder? That's a safety hazard for your employees. While I was not getting any attention, I wrote my second review and posted some photos and videos at a different restaurant.
