Met up my sisters for lunch and it was such a beautiful day. They had the patio area open and we decided to sit inside but close to the outdoor patio which was still a great spot as we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor atmosphere. They had beautiful decor and the place was modern with beautiful touches of uniqueness everywhere I looked. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. And our food and drinks were great. We ended up getting two bruschetta boards. I honestly loved all of them. Everything we got was unique and enjoyable in their own way. What a deal! I love their bottle and board specials on Monday and Tuesdays after 8pm. I got Fiore, which is the moscato, and it was sweet and smooth. Of the bruschettas, I always recommend asking for the chefs choice because that was my favorite one. Arcade and LaBria made my night so special. Samsung celebrating my birthday and was extremely exhausted I decided to stop in to get my favorite bruschetta board. I informed arcade that I was celebrating my birthday and he turns around and puts a candle on a dessert and presents it to me with LaBria with a cute little song and perfect smile. Thank you so much! Also took advantage of their HRW menu on this visit. The amount of food that was served for $35 was insane! The first course was a Caesar salad with a chicken or beef skewer. The salad itself was enough to be a meal. I picked the chicken skewer was great. It just juicy and tender with a nice char. My second course was the nine iron panini. When they set the plate in front of me my first thought was "no way I'm gonna finish this". You get a side option of salad or chips. This sandwich was heavily stuffed. This was a very poor experience. We ordered our drinks (diet coke and water). The table next to us received my Diet Coke and realized it was mine and handed it to me. We then ordered our food. 22 minutes later our server came and said she must have deleted our order. "Did we remember what we ordered?" We repeated our order to her. 12 minutes later we received our meal. (Not completely accurate) another server was told of the incorrect part of our order(our server was not the one to ask if our order was correct) and corrected our order. No manager nor our server ever came to the table to check on us. We finished our meal and had to ask another server for our check. They gave us a discount on our tab. We never made a fuss or negative comment to anyone. We realize things happen. However, the lack of concern for such mistakes by the server and the manager indicate the lack of service that this establishment provides. We will not return. I missed the $6 wine offer that ends at 5:00, but I was pleased to be offered me a couple of samples to help find the wine I wanted. I wanted to like the salami pesto, but it lacked a bit of flavor, and the warm prosciutto's texture wasn't my favorite (though that may just be my taste). Last night I went to a Yelp Elite event at Postino. It was so good, I found myself dreaming of their prosciutto/fig/and brie panini. Naturally, I found my way back today. This was a no-frills visit. I was hungry, knew exactly what I wanted and ate at the bar. The beautiful thing about eating dinner at 4pm on a Thursday is that you'll likely never have a crowd. The bartender was nice, the food came out WAY faster than I anticipated and it was everything I dreamed about (lol) Other than parking generally being a task, I can totally see postino being my go-to place for meetups with my friends. The casual but also classy atmosphere is perfect. The wine thats available ($6 pours for happy hour?!) seems like a very dangerous way to spend an entire evening. One of my best friends and I came in the other night for wine and charcuterie. I have a bad gluten intolerance and was relieved when I found almost everything could be made gluten free. When we placed the order, I notified the waitress of my allergy, and the staff went above and beyond to minimize cross-contamination. I didn't have a panini, but they looked massive. I've been wanting to try Postino's for a while. I first noticed it during Pandemic because of the nice outdoor patio seating. Unfortunately, it was too hot outside during this time of year and I was deterred by the vicious Houston mosquitoes, so we opted for indoor seating. I particularly appreciated the cute booth setups, which created a more intimate dining experience. In the evening, they dimmed the lights and provided a tealight candle to each table. That was a nice touch to enhance the cozy ambiance. The customer service was great. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu items and ingredients. She was helpful as I overloaded her with questions about the ingredients due to food sensitivities. The servers also checked on us frequently, which made us feel well taken care of. Additionally, the service was prompt and efficient. To the best part, the FOOD! I ordered a regular size Brussel Sprouts Salad. I enjoyed the flavor especially the lemon manchego dressing, which I found unique. I love textures in my salads, so the combination of almonds, bacon, and dried cherries were delightful. My table tried 12 different types of bruschettas. We just went down the menu and ordered one of each. They had the battle of the boards taking place so we ordered the Italiano and Mexican street corn. The Mexican street corn was definitely a winner. Of all the bruschettas, my top few were: 1.
