A small deli. Pies, cookies, sandwiches, take and bake meals. We tried a slice of pie and a couple of sandwiches. Nothing special with the food. Average homemade deli sandwiches. Painfully slow service. Overall, not impressed. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. By 11:30 there were a few customers seated and a line at the counter. Several car loads of customers pulled up, walked in saw the line, and did a 180. They apparently knew about the slow service. read more

When travelling in this area of OK, I always stop here for meals. I first visited shortly after they opened in 2018. Everything I've ever tried has been homemade, delicious, & quite filling. Their desserts are simply DELECTABLY DELICIOUS! The Heart & Soul Kitchen is well worth the drive to savor their wonderful creations. Prices are very reasonable for the food quality & serving sizes. When I stopped in yesterday, 17OCT25, I tried their potato soup! It was GREAT! There were potatoes in EVERY BITE! This place is a hidden gem. Everything is fresh made, and everything is delicious. We got a soup special, grilled sandwich, a loaf of bread, some cookies, pies, and some frozen meals to take with us. This is for the new location in West Siloam Springs, OK. It was absolutely fantastic. I am not comparing my BLT to a $60 prime rib dinner, but my sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. It's the bread. I took half a bite and was WOWED by the bread. The BLT itself was just regular BLT like, but the bread was so good. Did I say the bread is really good? Today I discovered Heart & Soul Kitchen. My mom treated me to scrumdiddlyumptious lunch here. I could tell Heart & Soul is very popular by the way it filled up at lunch. Service was very quick though. You order at the counter, then take a seat. FOOD: Both mom & I had the Chicken Salad on homemade bread. I ate my whole sandwich, so those that know me, know it was deliciously good. The chicken salad was very flavorful with apples & pecans added to it. The mayo had a sweet spice to it and the bread was fresh and oh so yummy! Definitely a must try here!! Mom took home a whole fresh Coconut Cream pie. Yes, you can buy whole pies and casserole dinners to take home. I will be trying different things here now that I know about this little gem. RESTAURANT: Is clean, small & quaint. What a WONDERFUL find on the way to Natural Falls!! We each got four different hot sandwiches. The sandwiches are plentiful and a half would be plenty for most people. The bread was yummy. I tried two separate frozen meals/casseroles to take home. But in my opinion I did not feel they were worth the money. They all seem to just miss something. Like the chicken spaghetti barely had any chicken in it and I have made chicken spaghetti and the ingredients are not expensive and if they added a little more chicken, it might be worth it. I also bought a ham and noodle casserole. I have the same complaint about it, not enough meat. I was also wondering about dates and how old these frozen meals were. I don't know if that is a requirement that they have dates on this type food but it would be helpful. The snickerdoodle cookies were good. I have not eaten any sandwiches there but that's what they seemed to be selling when I was waiting to pay. This is in a rural area and I'm pretty sure my opinion of the price of the frozen meals is not unreasonable. I wish them good luck and continued success. read more

Great food and great atmosphere. This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites. My husband and I just moved to the Kansas area. We love little quaint cafes. The food here is like you went to a friend's home for a homemade dinner. The homemade bread is wonderful and the desserts are great! Highly recommend this place if you're passing through, live in the area or just want to take a drive to the rural area.
