So disappointed in the Hearth last couple times we ate here. We shared a pepperoni pizza and it was so greasy including the bottom. When we mentioned it to the waiter he said it's always greasy. Two in our party had the hoagie sandwich, equally greasy. Sorry Hearth think we won't come back after many times there. read more

We went at 7 pm on a Wednesday there were open spots in the bar a big table open, hostess says no can't sit at the "community table" that has at least 8 seats open, for just the 2 of us. The wait time 35 minutes, and there are open seats WTF. Food is okay but over priced. Won't be back read more

I love this place. That being said, after driving from Fort Collins, and adding to the online waitlist per the instruction of the person at Hearth, that I called, planning it out so that the wait would have been minimal once we were there, only to be told once we got there, that the current wait would be 45 minutes, makes this place less than 1 star. Had this been the first time this had happened, I might have shrugged it off, but it's not the first time. They need to get their stuff together. Either eliminate the waitlist, and tell customers they don't do reservations, and that it is simply first come first serve, or get something else in place that actually works. With traffic, I've now spent over an hour on this round trip to nowhere. I have a toddler in the car, and 4 unhappy people, that wanted nothing more than to enjoy a good pizza, that we were clearly willing to drive to get. Shame on you Hearth. We went to Chimney Park the week prior, and I'll tell you it was night and day. I'm not sure how two businesses run by the same person could be so far off in customer service from one another. It makes me really really sad to miss out on a meal I really wanted and was looking forward to, disappointing my family in the process, and dealing with this round trip to nowhere. We just left Hearth and I'm already looking forward to our next visit. The restaurant itself is warm (hearth!) and inviting. Every person we interacted with working there was welcoming and kind. Our server was Karmen - she was stellar - attentive, gracious, happy, and efficient. We enjoyed cocktails and apps prior to ordering dinner. For drinks, we tried the Chupacabra (mezcal & jalapeño), Colorado Tonic, The Horse Feather & Jimi's Citrus Sour; they were all unique and really good. We had the molten brie & brussels sprouts appetizers; perfect combinations and both delicious. We lingered over a dinner of roasted beet salad and bacon/fig pizza and the daily special pizza which had mushrooms, a combination of white cheeses, and truffle oil. All of the food was excellent and came out quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will be back!! Thanks everyone! read more

One of my favorite go to restaurants. We love taking people here because they always love their food and the experience. Try the pizza, try the fish and chips, actually try everything! I was told that I had to come in and order from the bar and then wait for the order to be made, on a Friday night. I told the woman on the phone that I did not understand. This restaurant is linked to Chimney Park. Based on that alone, I had very high expectations. Expectations fell a little short. Friendly service, cool vibe, food is hit or miss. Some items were great. Pizza crust is not my favorite. I was disappointed in the flavor as well. The Brussel sprouts were on the verge of too salty. However, the drink menu is great. Love the balcony and view. The burger I had on our last visit was fantastic. Will definitely keep going and looking for menu favorites. read more

Good looking place. Clean and well designed. Sat at the bar and had good service by the bartender/waiter. The reason for one star the food was not acceptable.The burger came out cooked correctly but had little flavor and there was nothing much to it. A very small hamburger patty at best. There was no taste to the hamburger. The fixings, tomato ,mushy and tasted days old. The red onions tasted OK. The sourdough bread ended up being toasted and hurt. Burnt like they left it on the grill too long. Service was very good but the food was not even to stars this is why I gave a one star review. read more

Was excited to try Hearth but walked in and wasn't greeted in a professional manner. We asked for a table for 3 and was told that "we take reservations and we have nothing until 8:30pm" She was very rude in how she said it and didn't try to accommodate one bit. As a neopolitan pizza junkie I was looking forward to comparing Hearth to our favorite places across the country however I will not go and will tell anyone that asks about our experience and not recommend. She shoved the phone number our way to call and make reservations next time, but we declined and gave back to her. Looks like a decent atmosphere but needs work on basic customer service and treating eveyone equally. We ended up at Origins in Loveland and was accommodated without question and had a great meal. Lastly, when signing on to write this review at 7:40pm, I noticed a reservation for 7:45 at Hearth. I guess they don't need the business, since they said nothung until 8:30pm. Someone needs to talk to tell Hostess on 4-23-16 (evening) and explain to her basic customer service, unless this is the way the entire place runs. I don't recommend because of this experience. Although I'm itching to try Hearth, my pride won't let me after this experience. I'll spend my money somewhere who wants it. read more

So. Good food but actually finding a seat is really screwed up. Made a reservation and after 30 minutes after our reservation time finally stated it would be ANOTHER 20 min before we could be seated. We had done this two times before and left so we decided to stick it out. Eventually decided to sit at the pizza bar instead of a table. Server very apologetic but still overwhelmed. Apps came after the main course..lots of apologizing but no comps etc. place obviously is well liked but needs to get better organized. Takes a big screw up for me to comment. Finding the entrance if you've never been here before might take a second (the restaurant is upstairs), but once you do you will not be disappointed. I did not take the advice given by other reviewers and made no reservation relying on it being a Tuesday and having a willingness to sit at the bar. There were plenty of seats and a few tables open as well. I can however see where during peak days/times you would want a reservation. I had my order taken quickly and even more quickly, the food was delivered to the bar. I ordered fish & chips and everything was cooked perfectly. The tarter sauce had a slight kick to it and the fries were hand cut. A gentleman next to me ordered a burger and it looked like a can't miss item also. Overall, no complaints. We really enjoyed our meal at Hearth. This restaurant is especially nice for those of you that love Chimney Park, but struggle to get there as often as you'd like due to children. They offer a $5 kids menu that includes a personal pizza and ice cream, which was a big hit for us! The restaurant's atmosphere is very laid back with lots of lights, great views of the lake, and a neat open view of the central wood fired oven. The wait staff was what you would expect from a white table cloth restaurant. You have a primary server, but every one in the building is willing to stop by and help out throughout the night. Why more restaurants / servers don't serve this way is beyond me. It seems so much more efficient, the customer never sits with empty glasses/plates, and it benefits everyone (restaurant in reviews, server for tip, and customer for service). The food as one can expect was high quality for the dollar spent. We tried several things including the deviled eggs, fries, mushroom pizza, and roasted chicken. Everything was great, but the roasted chicken was incredible. I think the roasted chicken could be served across the street at Chimney Park and get rave reviews. It was cooked perfect and the crispy layer of skin on top was soooooo good. We'll definitely be back....probably a lot because for around $16 - $20 an entree we don't think there are a ton of local options that compete. read more

We tried out our new eatery tonight. I give 3/4 stars. Beautiful location! Awesome views. Service was a bit lacking, we sat at a crowded bar as we did not have reservations, though many tables remained empty. Bar tender was struggling, needs a bar back. Took 20 minutes before we were able to order our cocktails. Though it took some time the drinks were well crafted and delicious! We ordered the mushroom pizza, it was a really good artisanal and creative but simple dish and used local mushrooms. In all the reason I did not give 5 stars was due to service. They are new and I'm sure still working out the kinks. I will go back, however we will be sure to make s reservation for the patio. read more

We've been in a couple times and have enjoyed the food & cocktails. The issues we've had is having to make a reservation to eat. Maybe on the weekends but during the week not so much. This is Windsor, CO after all.... The times we've been in during the week, we've asked to either sit outside or move inside as too hot and have been told "we are totally booked". When there are several tables in & outside vacant and still vacant when we leave, that's not a booked restaurant. Mind you, they eventually did move us inside. The fact that you are a new restaurant in town, I would think you'd want people coming through there leaving with a positive feeling of telling their friends "you've got to try this place. It was awesome". I know a lot of restaurants welcome the walk-ins as it fills the lull time. Even in the mountain towns! read more

Have been there a couple of times. It could be a great place, but their seating lacks planning. The community tables DON'T work, I don't want to eat with strangers. Tonight we had to sit at the bar, which we usually don't mind, but there were 3 empty tables for 55 minutes while we were there....something is not working there. As far as the food, it depends, loved the flank steak, but is no longer on the menu. Had the salmon tonight, it was very good, but a little too greasy. Have had their pulled pork sandwich and it was not good enough to order again. The pizza we had the first time was very good. Overall, for the money and after giving it a chance 4 times, I will not come back! The food is not consistent, hate their sitting options and we were charged $6 for bread! Too bad because Windsor could use a place like what they are attempting to do, but are not doing well enough! read more

The deviled eggs were marvelous! Service was great! But, the pizza was terrible! It was burned and the toppings were not distributed very well. I would go back, but I'll stay away from the pizza. We were eager to try out the pub since Chimney Park is so amazing. Went on a Thursday around 7:30p. Our waiter unfortunately wasn't the highlight of the evening. He couldn't explain things on the menu and kept bringing our food out of order. Also, asking if we'd want dessert when eating the main dish. He definitely was eager to wrap things up and get off his shift. Life is rushy enough without getting it from the waiter too. Salads were severely lacking any dressing and the pizza was just ok. 3 people, two rounds of drinks, 3 salads and 1 pizza over $100 seems steep. Happy to pay the price if it was as AMAZING as it sounded on the menu. The ingredients were there and you have an amazing pizza oven, just felt like the food was off. Not complicated stuff to execute. Cool restaurant but small details like having your staff be more knowledgeable to answer questions and not rush the customer are all part of the dining experience. read more

Nice ambiance. Love the brick and hardwood. One of the only non culturally specific restaurants in Windsor. Service was good. It was super busy for a weekday. The only knock was it's pricy.
