Chicken with mixed vegetables in brown sauce. Not sure about this piece of plastic in my fried rice.

Found this piece of plastic in my fried rice. Probably won't order from here again. It was convenient and close.

Terrible spring rolls. All overcooked rice noodles, only 2 small shrimp and random mint leaves. Basically a mouthful of paste.

Food was very bland and tasteless. I ordered the sesame chicken and wontons. Both had zero taste and the chicken was dry. Wouldn't recommend

We chose the five-course tasting menu and added a couple of sides, and every dish was perfectly executed. But the service is what really inspired me to write this review. Jack was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent suggestions, and went above and beyond--even helping me get my phone charged during dinner. It's that kind of thoughtful service that turns a great meal into a memorable experience. The next time I'm in Denver, I'll definitely be back. Don't skip the Chiang Mai Wonton and the dumplings,

I was intrigued by the dumplings, but definitely did not try them seemed a bit to modern. Malaysian noodles were decent with bit of flavor, but overwhelmingly, egg & bean sprouts with very little noodle & overcooked pork belly. It was so rough... I was really expecting some being that would basically melt in my mouth and that was not at all the experience. it made me miss San Francisco Asian food so much... as a treat myself kind of meal, it was fine, but I'm glad I went by myself rather than a date night with my husband cause I think we both would've regretted it on the plus side if there is one is that the staff we're remarkably friendly even for the lunch crowd. It was pretty slow.

My favorite was the French toast, crunchy on the outside and warm, soft, and savory on the inside. It was also good I usually don't like anything with coconut and this has it in there. Never would've guessed that's what I was eating because of the way they incorporated all of the other ingredients! Me and my friends ate the ants on a tree, the Korean chicken, sweet and sour chicken, the potatoes, French toast, and the Korean corn dog. We shared everything and all were very full by the end. It was a great atmosphere to have a delicious dinner with friends!

Not just a little, it added an almost acrid flavor. The chicken was cooked fine. We ordered the cha siu and tom yum Noodles. The cha siu was fine, but, definitely overcooked, the lack of sauce just made it just a cooked piece of pork, rather than what is truly "cha siu" I truly had a gripe with the $24 tom yum noodles. Immediately as I arrived I knew what this was - this is mama noodles, $0.25 cent mama noodles packets but made with spaghetti - and completely salty and inedible at that. Truly, the profit margin on this dish must be astronomical. // I just checked, they were going to charge me $28 dollars - I asked to sub out shrimp since I was allergic, and TWO pieces of tofu was an additional $24+4 - insane? We had the eggplant as a replacement, it was fine. My server attempted to explain away the tom yum noodles as being too "green onion forward" - lady, I literally make mama noodles at home everyday. Don't sell me a fake story. It's an okay restaurant, slightly higher prices due to its renown. But it's clear the owners are not Chinese, Thai or Korean. At this point in my life, I don't like leaving a bad review, but mid food layered with mild deceit leaves a bad taste.

The standout for me was the taro fries. I absolutely loved them. They were crispy, flavorful, and something I'd order again. They were also surprisingly good as leftovers the next day, which isn't something you can say about most fries. If you're getting takeout and won't be eating right away, these still hold up really well. Overall, ZOMO is a great spot if you're looking for generous options, flexible portion sizes, and some unique menu items. The taro fries alone are worth the visit.

Uncle is a small, Asian fusion shrine that one should place on your must visit list. In the Northwest area of Denver, Uncle has limited seating and a show if you sit at the bar. Reservations are strongly suggested and well worth the wait. Crazy combinations, flavor bombs throughout and a culinary delight you won't regret. Tonight, we sat at the bar and watched the magic happen. These guys are cranking out amazing and delectable treats you won't forget. The Uncle salad was a great starter with charred cabbage, lemongrass, mint, cilantro, arugula, and peanuts lightly coated in a Thai coconut dressing. A slight burn only leaving you to crave just one more bite, ha! The fried soft shell crab in a bao bun with green papayo slaw, coconut mayo and cilantro nam prik was sweet, perfect crunch and memorable. Two for two with one dish left. The cold spicy sesame noodles with seasoned chicken, granny Smith apple slivers, arugula, cashews and nanami togorashi, a perfect closing dish for an exceptional meal. The service, food quality, flavors and preformance from the bar seats were second to none. The concept, portion size, flavor and cost were a real treat in the big city food scene of Denver. If you haven't been here yet, get to the internet and book a table, I promise you won't regret it. To the staff, chefs, and all members of Uncle, thank you for a surprising and incredibly great meal, we will return on our future trips to Denver.
