We needed some cleanup work done on our pool before the start of the season. We needed our Rick feature repaired and repainted, a new light wired, the tile bead blasted and pool acid washed and a new vacuum. They came out, gave us a quote we were happy with and started the work on schedule. All of the work performed was done well and on time. The new vacuum, however, was a different story. First they took our old hose and attached it to the new vacuum and left it in the pool hoping I wouldn't notice. I sent a text to the tech and asked where the box for the vacuum was with the new hose, instructions, warranty card and other attachments that the unit was sold with. He sent back a text saying that the vacuums don't come in a box with hoses, etc. and offered me a digital copy of the instructions (note that they also asked to take my old vacuum off of my hands for me too which I'm guessing they rebuild and sell to unknowing customers as new) When I called the office they said that the owner would come out with a brand new unit the next day. While I did end up with the new eventually, the owner never came by to discuss. While the majority of the job they did was wonderful, the shady vacuum situation ruined our impression of the company as a whole. read more

I used Heath Family Pools for pool maintenance for 10 months. The last two months my pool was swampy green and very unusable. They would come once a week, make promises to fix and left their equipment to "allow" me to use. I finally had to fire them because I was having a party and couldn't wait any longer for them to fix. We brought in a new company that had my pool looking amazing in 3 days. It was well below the chlorine needs. I will share a picture of my pool as they left it after 10 months of service. They have also continued to bill me after they stopped services. Very disappointed . This is the 3rd time we used them and were happy the first 2 times but this 3rd time was a disappointment . Scheduled pool to be drained on a Tuesday. Took them till Friday to fill the pool and then Penni said she couldn't get anyone to come back to add start up chemicals until Monday . We had already paid invoice in full on Friday and wanted to use the pool over the weekend . I expressed my disappointment and Penni said she found someone to out Saturday but they were a no show . Jessica is awesome. Beginning of the year, she came out and helped me fix my pump and backwash as well as chems to the pool. No charge. OK - That was cool... So fast forward to July and the pump isn't filtering out the algae. It was time for a new pump and transition from sand to cartridge filter. She came out a week prior to balance the chems to get us to our installation date. Very fair price and good service. I will continue to call Jessica for help. She doesn't shy away from home owners who want to try an do simple maintenance / chems on their own pool. That is nice. Make me feel like I'm contributing and doing my part. Thanks Jessica! After years of searching for a reliable pool company, finally. Family owned & operated, totally honest hard working great people. Great communicators, very honest , always take great care of you. They do everything required to keep your pool looking fantastic but without the never ending up sell and overcharging of others. A friend referred this company so I trusted his judgement. Charged $200 to drain the pool (which is competitive from what I looked at). Doing yard work a couple days later and saw they left the sewage cap off... not a biggie but I'll have to buy plumbing seal tape and put it back on. They also removed a calcium waterline which cost $498. If you have travertine DO NOT LET THEM perform a sandblast. I had to spend $60 to buy a tile sealer and spend a couple hours resealing my tile. I alerted Jessica to this and she offered nothing.. thought maybe she'd say we'll give you a filter clean or a discount. Only thing she said was "thanks for the feedback, it will make my company better". Oh well.. read more
