Seems that everything on their menu has this "healthy" vibe to it which I appreciated. Had the breakfast quinoa bowl which had a lot of components but overall lacked flavor. I get the clean ingredients and minimalistic dish but there needs to be some sort of seasoning. The quinoa had some chimichurri mixed in but that was about all the sauce or flavor the dish had.

Stopped in after visiting a friend's pottery show. Ambiance is bistro/cafe style. It was hot so we sat inside. Service was prompt and friendly. Some inter choices for food and it was tasty. I would go back if in the area.

This will be my second time dining here. I liked it so much. The first time that I came back. They have ample parking spaces and the ambience is a really nice touch with the tent outside and chandeliers. However, I did have the chicken with the Angel hair pasta and the noodles were weird and it was soupy so I didn't understand that, it did not taste like Angel hair at all but other than that, it was pretty good. Our server was very nice and very attentive however, there was lots of bees out there so my friend ordered a Prosecco and the bee was inside the glass and they didn't see it and when they took a sip the bee stung their lip. Other than that, everything is great.

Met fellow yelper Philip N. here for lunch. Neither of us knew they took reservations for lunch, so we were walk-ins a d sat in the heated tent outside. I think I actually preferred that! They had it so toasty and provided blankets as well. There were so many good looking choices for food, but I ended up getting the buddha bowl. It was just perfect. Lots of veggies, tofu, and pesto sauce was so flavorful. I also got a Dram sparkling water and I have to find where I can get that in a store. Would easily be my new favorite sparkling water. Service was also quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend a stop here!

What a lovely perfect brunch on a gorgeous, lush patio on a perfect summer day! All of the tables had different fresh flowers on them. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and it was enough for two meals! I asked if they had plant based meat substitutes and they didn't but they substituted avocado, which made me very happy. I hate paying for meat when I've asked to leave it off, and avocados seem like it similarly priced item. DH had the special of the day which was ricotta on toast and didn't have nearly as much food so he ended up helping me and I still brought half of it home! He had the lavender lemonade, but we couldn't taste the lavender. I had the grapefruit tonic, which was delicious if a bit overpriced. We also ordered the gold potatoes which we really wished were more crispy. I think if they deep-fried them they would be really delicious. But none of these things made our experience pale, so giving five stars. We will definitely be back.

    Roasted beet bowl

Great local neighborhood restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Menu options include something for everyone. We dined after 1 and breakfast was still available. Our choices were burgers and tots, beet salad, a roasted beet bowl and a baked desert to go. All of the food was well prepared, attractive and very tasty. Generous portion sizes left everyone with extra to take home. Service was helpful, fast and friendly. Seating and decor were fun and helped maintain the neighborhood feel. There is a large, comfy, heated tent out the back door that more than doubles seating capacity. It was being decorated in a ski chalet theme the day we were there, it would be fun to go back to see the result. Parking and access were easy. Definitely a place to give a try for good food and fun.

Went here for a brunch with a large group on the patio and they did a great job accommodating us! It was very loud so just a heads up if you are looking for a quieter place. The food was amazing! I had the shakshuka and it didn't disappoint! Everyone seemed very happy with their dish! I will say the splitting of the bill at the end seemed stressful and we did let the waitress know who's splitting what in the beginning. Would have been nice if they told us up from plaiting is hard with a larger group or told us how we can help make it easier on them. Not a bad thing just felt very disorganized and took over a half hour for bills to come out due to confusion.

First time here. We were in the area for a bike ride along the Minnehaha Parkway and met some friends for lunch. Didn't really get to see much of the inside since we got a table behind the restaurant under the tent. It was a nice day to be outside. A little windy and chilly, but not an issue if you had a jacket. The place was busy, and at times people were waiting to get seated. We had a 12:45 reservation and got seated right away. We were given waters and menus, and we were so busy talking that the server had to come back several times before we made our decisions (thanks for the patience!). Our group ended up ordering the Poke Bowl, Avocado Toast with Fried Eggs, Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, and Blackened Salmon with Dilly Ranch. It didn't take long for the food to come out (though we wouldn't have noticed since we were still talking). Everything was the right temperature, nicely presented, and good portions. Everyone was really happy with their choices -- except for mine. The salad part was good, but the Blackened Salmon was overcooked and dried out. It had good flavor, just cooked too long. Overall, a decent experience. I'd be interested in dining inside the building next time. The service the entire time was very attentive. But I'd definitely stay away from the Blackened Salmon.

My friends and I wanted to kill some time and get a late lunch before our flight and I found this charming spot. Plenty of outdoor seating, which was tented. It all felt very cozy and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and provided my little 10lb dog a big bowl of water. We weren't super hungry so we shared the local goat cheese with figs, prosciutto, pistachio, honey & garlic crostini and the summer vegetable sautee with garlic butter and parm. Even though both appetizers were a little on the pricey side, it was really delicious and gourmet! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the goat cheese combined with micro greens and sweetness from the fig and honey was a party in my mouth. We also got extra slices of crostini which was much appreciated. I also got a cappuccino and a Budapest muffin with sour cream frosting. Coffee and a sweet treat always hits the spot! So glad we stumbled upon this place and perfect that it's just a 10 minute drive from the airport. Would love to come back again next time I'm in town to try their teriyaki salmon bowl!

I've wanted to try this place for a while now. Multiple friends rave about the food here. Today I went with my friend to catch up. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and a raspberry lemonade. The lemonade was so fresh and tasty. The buffalo chicken sandwich was also very tasty and flavorful. Our server was attentive and helpful. We sat outside in the heated tent. It was so comfy, cozy and cute. Can't wait to try more from their menu in the future!

Love the atmosphere. The service was outstanding, the severs are soooo nice. And foods - I think the portion is perfect, taste was great. My salmon BLT feel little dry, a bit more sauce would be better. Fries are the best of all. It's so crispy and tasty. Love it.

Came here on Pride to grab a post / pre celebration brunch and oh my gosh.. it did NOT DISAPPOINT! We had a reservation for 5 and upon arrival, it was all set and ready to go, a perfect table right up at the front and by the window. Our waitress was absolutely incredible, rolled with all of our crazy orders (we ordered TONS of drinks) and she came promptly with all of them and was so sweet and kind to us! I got the bloody mary with sake and oh my gosh.. I drank like 3 of them. So good, so light, fresh, and delicious! I ordered the salmon bowl (made my salmon blackened) and oh my goodness.. all of the ingredients were fresh, perfectly cooked, light, and above all, quality! We ended up thanking the manager and she was so kind and courteous to us (we were a rowdy yet fun) table! When I get brunch, this is what I want my experience to be every single time! Amazing ambiance, food, drinks, and company! Will be back here!

Small but nice bar. Decent wine selection

Yes, the reviews are correct. Heather's is straight out awesome. Stopped by to get some take out. The building (and outside tent) are perfect. Airy, open, just a very clean appearance, and I don't mean it was swept well (although it was). Looking forward to going there and eating in with my beloved. We ordered the BLT and the Cubano. Heaven. Super luxe bacon, monster tomato slice, just perfect. And the Cubano, while not exactly a Miami (or Tampa) Cuban, far better than any other cuban I have had up North. Staff were very pleasant, even though it was a jumping evening. I stopped for a glass of wine at the bar (10 seats?) and was happy with their wine selection. Not huge, but with some nice selections that are not super common. Overall, one of the best experiences I have had.

It wasn't a problem for us since we were ok with taking our time with the empanadas and conversations. Steak was huge with a large bone. Fragrance of rosemary. Also came with a side of 4 sauces/chimichurri. The steak comes with a choice of two sides. We ordered the sautéed veggies, mashed potatoes, and added garlic mushrooms. Sides were standard, nothing special but serving size was small in comparison to the size of the steak. Overall everything was good! Not mind blowing and our overall tab for the steak, 2 empanadas, 3 glasses of wine and 3 beers was around $230.

Came here because of all the amazing reviews and the photos of the inside are so cute, yet everything was mediocre. He charged me the $6.50 for the latte listed on the menu, then $1.50 for one "Xtra Espresso Shot," then $4.00 for an "Espresso." When I questioned it, he brought the menu and tried to say it's $4.00 for an espresso so he was being nice by not charging $8.00 for the 2 add shots... BRO, you have a button ON THE REGISTER for "Xtra Espresso Shot" for a reason. You hit it twice for 2 add shots on the latte I'm already paying for. $3.00 for 2 add shots on a latte is reasonable, $5.50 is insane. Should have been $9.50 for a double dirty chai latte, he charged me $12.00 and thought he was being nice not charging $14.50. And it wasn't even good. Won't be coming back. Disappointed. I shouldn't even be surprised, but I was so shocked I am already writing this review right after we got home. This place is soooo overrated.

It was off-putting, but she was friendlier later in the evening. I'm old, so that might be it too. Many younger people in the Twin Cities don't like old men. Bûcheron's space is small and homey, tying in well with the Kingfield neighborhood. It's cozy and unpretentious. I liked that. The food was scrumptious. Everything tasted wonderfully, and there wasn't even one miss. The menu changes constantly, so listing the dishes might be moot. However, the Pomme Dauphines, gazpacho soup, halibut, and sticky toffee cake made us sigh with pleasure. On a Monday night, the place was packed, but it empties early. That's typical in the Twin Cities. Late dining is not in vogue. However, Bûcheron is popular, so make reservations early. They were fresh, light, and had an excellent texture. Everything else was pretty disappointing. The broccoli and cheese soup was bland, and the broccoli seemed more grated than chopped, giving it an odd texture. The prime rib was nothing special and lacked the flavor and tenderness you'd expect from a supper club. The twice-baked potato was dry and didn't add much to the meal. The Wisconsin Old Fashioned was another letdown. I ordered it sweet, but it was surprisingly bitter and not enjoyable. As someone who's had plenty of Wisconsin Old Fashioneds, I'd give this one about a 4 out of 10. It also didn't help that the dining room was extremely hot on a warm summer day. It was uncomfortable enough that it took away from the overall experience, and it didn't seem like the air conditioning was keeping up. To top it all off, the prices felt much higher than what was delivered. For the quality and portion sizes, the value just wasn't there. I don't mind paying more for a great supper club meal, but this simply didn't justify the cost. Overall I left disappointed. We ordered a few apps from the HH menu - cheese curds, potato waffles and she got the salmon tartare. Overall the food was good. The cheese curds have a cheddar powder on the them which was interesting. I also got a N/A cocktail - The Louie which was really refreshing. The staff were nice and attentive. Pretty good dining experience.

I wanted to order one of everything - especially in the snacks section of the menu. We stopped in for happy hour with a reservation on the patio. I really enjoyed I could reserve a spot outside, a lot of places won't guarantee that. We enjoyed the happy hour selection, including the tini flight, wine, margarita and spritz. We also enjoyed oysters, caviar, rock shrimp tempura, tallow fries and the dexter burger. All was fantastic, and I would love to come back and truly try everything else on the menu! One note of caution, while we were there a gust of wind blew an umbrella out of its stand and almost landed/punctured a guest at a nearby table. It was quite the commotion and very scary. I'm guessing that doesn't happen often but a good reminder to be aware of your surroundings all the time!

The inside is beautiful and made for a really nice dining experience. We started with the Eichten's cheese curds, and they were excellent. They were soft on the inside, some had a great cheese pull, and the spicy dipping sauce paired really well with them. I ordered the Flat Iron Frites. The steak was seasoned well, cooked nicely, and didn't have much fat, which I appreciated. The fries were crispy and came with house-made ketchup. I usually don't even like ketchup, but this one was actually really good. My partner ordered the deviled eggs as his appetizer, and he enjoyed them so much he finished them in no time. For dessert, we had the Strawberry Shortcake Crème Brûlée, and it was fantastic. I've never had crème brûlée like that before. It was a unique twist on a classic dessert and ended the meal perfectly. The only small downside was that the complimentary water tasted clean and fresh. But it was warm instead of cold. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a great experience, and I'd happily return. Glad i was able to cross this one off of my list.
