Honestly Heathrow is quite honestly the worlds worst airport. Another disaster here last week saw me encounter delays due to fog. The fog along with reduced inbound runways meant I was late arriving for my connection. Our bags were lost.. Twice. Getting access to staff to resolve our flights again a problem. This is the main problem with Heathrow. It is simply too big. Getting from one terminal to the next is an issue. Getting to your gate is an issue. The volume of passengers and the number of security staff is an issue. Getting your baggage through Heathrow is an issue... Again due to volumes. If a flight misses a slot expect to queue for some time. Things that happen at Heathrow don't happen elsewhere and if they do the impact is nowhere near as bad. Take my advice. Look elsewhere first and if you have to book Heathrow but at least I've tried to warn you. read more

The only reason that I fly here is when I have no other options. The airport constantly run at capacity so any event (weather, technical...) create significant delays. I have been delay many times for landing and even for take from an origin airport because of delays of an hour or more. The immigration lines can be incredibly long at times. The airport itself is in the constant upgrade and construction process... maybe it will get better once "Heathrow east" is completed but at this time it's a mess if you have to change terminal for a connection. Rental car requires a long bus ride. On the plus side, you can use the "tube" or "Heathrow Express" for a quick train connection to downtown London. read more

I came to Heathrow expecting the worst having heard all the stories of ridiculous delays and how inefficient this airport is. My experience here was actually not bad at all. Lines weren't terrible and it wasn't as overflowing with travelers stuck with overnight delays like I thought it'd be. It's a low-ceiling but widespread airport and is very modern/sleek with giant windows, probably to offset the lack of an open floor plan. Wasn't really a fan of the flat/maze-like design since it meant tons of walking for us. From the international terminal, it took us a good 15 minutes to walk from our gate to customs and eventually baggage so you definitely get a sense of how large it is, at least horizontally. And the low ceilings don't help with this since they definitely emphasize the wideness. Hence the wide windows. But on the flipside, if you're traveling out of Heathrow, there are lots of duty-free cosmetic/fashion/etc. shops once you've gotten through security. We had a great experience and the customer service at these shops is unexpectedly friendly/cordial! There was always someone available to help us with purchases and questions and some shops had samples available with really kind salespeople. You're also constantly reminded of that British pride that seems prevalent in this city since there are huge pictures of the Queen's Guard plastered onto the walls to welcome you/say goodbye. There are also scenes of London lining the walls of the long hallways to get to your gate. It's cute. And very British. Overall, I'm lucky to have had a trouble-free experience at Heathrow and am here to say that it can happen. read more

Terminal 3 Heathrow is something special. By special I mean an experience. How much would you enjoy over-crowding, watching a child lick a bin then delve inside it to see what he can find to eat? Then of course you can people watch the kind of crowds you'd see on British Abroad or Holiday Nightmares. Yes folks it is classy, real classy. If you want primp, maybe you should head over to terminal 5. If you don't need a classy environment, there are plenty of eateries and places to do shopping. London Heathrow is surprisingly very outdated. Staff was inefficient at moving the line through security and I found it to be odd in the first place that we had to go through security though we had not exited through the secure portions of the airport. Nevertheless annoying and frustratingly long process. Terminal 3 has a large selection of duty free shopping and food options. We dined at Strada which at first appeared pleasing but the food was average at best. Gates don't have enough seats for international flights nor do they have bathrooms which force you to exit the secure area and bring your passport along. read more

This is a review of Terminal 1 and the United Airlines gates. The airport is in the process of consolidating all Star Alliance airlines in Terminal 1, and I recently flew in and out of this terminal for the first time. 1. Terminal 1 seems to be a good trek away from the Heathrow Express platform compared to Terminal 3. There are no moving walkways, so get your walking shoes on. 2. Check-in lobby: Just a bunch of different airline desks. Individual airline signage isn't obvious, so it's important to look up which area (A, B, C, etc.) your airline is using. 3. Post-Security Waiting Area: Duty free shops, coffee stands, Pret a Manger, etc. Nothing too exciting here. 4. United Airlines gates. You have to go through one other passport and boarding pass check to get to UAL's gates. I flew out of gate 46 this afternoon. At this point, your only food and drink options are a Costa coffee and a bunch of vending machines. However, these new gates are a significant improvement compared to the old, claustrophobia inducing ones at Terminal 3. All the glass and the high ceiling give it a rather airy feeling. read more

I ate a sandwich from Boots! A sandwich from Boots! I had loads of time to play with and I had a sandwich. From Boots! It was all I could find that wasn't a sit down 'pub grub' type thing. I mean, it was an ok sandwich, but I like sitting down with my mags in airports and noshing into some good food. Even if airport food is crap, it's still airport food which makes it so bad it's good if ya get me. So, to reiterate my point, there is such little choice in Terminal 1, I ate in Boots. To summise, as airports go, Heathrow is probably not near the top of the league. It's all a bit old and a bit grey and if you're in Terminal 1, as outlined above, there's feck all places to eat. I did notice that they have a new little kids' playground which is nice. If you have kids. But I don't. Although I guess it does keep them from roaming the (airport) streets which is a bonus..!! Poorly trained airport security staff. Takes up more time than any other airport I've been to (I thought JFK and LAX were bad...) Searched almost every travelers bags around us without much cause to, forcing an even longer hold up because everyone had to repack their entire suitcase after security took literally everything out. Two stars for being about average for cleanliness. Enough stores to buy gifts after security, but options aren't great. Travel through here may not be avoidable, so add more buffer room around your departure times. read more

Get ready to walk, walk, and walk some more, even if you're not connecting to another flight. From the gate in Terminal 3 to border patrol? Felt like 2 miles. From the baggage area to the bus area? Felt like 2 more miles, 3 when factoring in I-can't-sleep-on-long-flights fatigue. As I finally found myself on a bus to my final destination of Reading, I wondered, "Damn, that's a huge airport.... my legs are sore... why don't they have free wifi?" Coming back, I had no issues going through security. In some ways, it was easier than American airport security. Terminal 3 is made up of 2 distinct sections: the fancy sitting/shopping area, and the drab, cold gates, where I only waited about 10 minutes between the gate announcement and boarding. I was grateful for the shopping area; I needed a few last-minute souvenirs for my family. Otherwise... yeah. It's just an airport. A HUGE airport. read more

Bad bad bad. Never going to stop in Heathrow again. Absolute nightmare. I fly 2-3 times times a year. I stopped at many airports. Never seen worse than Heathrow. And smokers: there is no smoking area in Heathrow. So if you plan to smoke while waiting for connecting flight. You must get a visa and wait in the immigration line. Just to smoke a cigarette. Not like Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid. Where the have smokers rooms. Heathrow doesn't. It's also too big. You will be to tired to to walk in the airport. Hey Heathrow, I just arrived on a 13 hour flight at 3 in the afternoon after being kept awake by screaming babies and passengers with body odour. The least you could have done was to not keep me waiting in line for 1.5 hours at border control. Other than that little hiccup, I must say you have got pretty decent signage and staff. Heathrow is better then a lot from an inbound perspective. We managed to get though customs in fairly short order. All of the folks were very polite moving us through the lines. There could have been one or two additional staff, but it is common at the international hubs to under staff apparently. I love having the Tub and or Heatherow express right there. Getting to the rentals is pretty quick as well. My biggest issue is the outbound from an international perspective. Getting through security was quick, but then you are confronted with sitting in an area with few seats and few dinning options. I have been to regional airports in the US with more color and flavor than Heathrow. Does not leave a good 'last' impression for tourists. read more

I go to and from Heathrow to travel between Vancouver and Southampton and it's not my favourite airport out there. First of all, it's M A S S I V E - the coach from uni stops at the junction between T 3, 4, and 5 so I have to lug all my stuff for miles. The staff roaming around the kiosks are really lovely although I seem to always get a really snarky lady at the Air Canada desk who seems like she can't be bothered to speak. She usually just sits there while I'm unsure if she's ready for me to go up to her and when I do (after she raisers her eyebrows at me), she just gives me a look without saying anything! There's loads of luxury shops as well as a token Zara and some places to eat. The queues at immigration upon your arrival are totally disorganised and there isn't free wifi to help you pass the time - booo. Would I rather travel by boat to Southampton? Nah. read more

I seem to spend a lot of time at Heathrow and compared with other airports around the world it isn't that bad. Getting there from London on the Piccadilly Line (because I am too cheap to pay for Heathrow Express) takes too long for my liking but once I am there it isn't too bad. I tend to use Terminal 3 for the Virgin Atlantic flights. The lines at security seem fairly quick due to the number of business travelers. There are a number of half decent eating places like Strada to fill up on instead of ropey plane food and there are a number of other stores to get water, books, newspapers, tourist tat etc from. read more

I've flown through Heathrow numerous times but never really have any major problems. In fact my trips though not all pleasant were memorable.... so much fun and enjoyable.. The first time was 12 years ago...we were on our way to Hongkong....and the Far East and took a British Airway round trip flight that had a lay over in London for an hour....well our connecting flight was cancelled and rescheduled later that night. . We arrived early morning I was not gonna sit there the whole time waiting for our flight ...so we got out of the airport got on a cab and enjoyed the beautiful sites with my sister and daughter ....Coming back.... I sense some problems...there were 2 lines...to go in...US passport holders and tourist....we almost missed our flight because of the difference in our passports!! My sister had a local passport and lines was so long. US passport holders was short and brisk....That was scary but we made it....... The last time I have to meet with my sister who is coming from San Francisco. I arrived an hour earlier ....luckily for me my son was already there to meet us. Spent the time shopping at the duty free shop in the airport!!! A huge selection of different designer goods. I bought an authentic Armani Shades....I am tired of all the knockoffs all over Chinatown in NY. ... .We were in Terminal 4 and she was on 3...that was the only problem...but everything went well.......On our way back there was a little problem...My 2 luggages were over and my handcarry was not allowed. ..so my son took it home mailed it from his base...It was much cheaper than the price they quote us for the extra weight. Also I find that food/ snacks in the airport were very very reasonable compared to our own JFK. We had a good meal there before flying home!!! read more

My experience with Heathrow was about as pleasant as an airport experience can be. When I arrived, I was through immigration in less than 5 minutes. Granted, it took me about 15 minutes to walk from my gate to Terminal 1 arrivals... but that's to be expected with such a vast airport. The staff was friendly and directed me to my shuttle quite efficiently. The terminal was pristine, bathrooms were clean, chairs were comfortable and the duty free shops were AMAZING. Returning, I got through security with no hassle at all. I got to my gate in a timely manner, had breakfast at Pret, shopped at the Harrods duty free and made it back to the US safe and sound. As far as airports go, this is the busiest in the world, but I've encountered no problems. read more

Terminal 5, you amaze me. How are you both efficient and inefficient at the same time? I have had hassle free experiences with the other Terminals (3 & 4) but they were just ordinary airport experiences. Upon entering the arrivals section of Terminal 5 I was confused with the check-in process and especially upset that checking in online the night before my flight didn't make much of a difference. Seeing that I arrived at the airport at 11:25am and the gate to my flight was to close at 11:40am, I realized quickly that I was screwed. I proceeded to customer assistance and the British Airways attendant was exteremely helpful. She advised me to "run quickly!" in order to make my flight and even told me it was okay to request a fast track through security. Security took forevvvvveeerrrr and upon clearing through security we were forced to walk through all of the "A gates" to get on a transit that would take us to the "B gates." A short ride and then a mad dash up escalators and through several gates, we made it in the knick of time to be the last few people to board the flight back to the States. One thing is for sure, Terminal 5 is pretty thorough in their security check (trust me, I was stopped one last time before boarding the flight for my third security check). The whole process at Terminal 5 is a bit on the slow side which worked out in my favor as it bought me enough time to catch that flight home! Cleanliness is godliness and the Picadilly Line straight to Heathrow Terminal 5 was my savior. read more

I've read horror stories on Heathrow and was worried about departing from Heathrow. Thankfully my experience wasn't bad. *Service : We arrived at 6:00am (9:45am departure) and airport was surprisingly organized. The staff was efficient with assisting our group of 4 and helpful with our questions. My Harry Potter wand was pull aside for a "special screening". TSA had a sense of humor when they saw it was a wand. They even took time to explain what alerted the screening (apparently it happens often with HP wands). *Ambience: Large and clean. Lots of good dining, drinking and shopping options. They have a mini Harrods, in case you need last minute souvenirs. And if you're feeling like a ballar there's a cigar, rolex and whiskey lounge. *Tip: -Delta gate 15 g is alllllllllllllllllll the way at the end. Be prepared to walk . I recommend grabbing food and making a bathroom stop before your trek to 15g. -Limited wifi. read more

I single-handedly saw someone's bag fall off those little carts that drag luggage. Ten minutes later, a random fellow just picked it up. There was probably one very very angry traveler that day. The workers appear to have been attacked by Dementers and there's not a single proper place to hang out. And on top of being one of the worst airports, I heard "All unattended baggages will be removed and DESTROYED" a million times on the announcer. Two stars because I absolutely love London! The London Heathrow AIrport is ginormous! Lots of horizontal escalator things to help you get from one terminal to another in a timely fashion. Their shopping is very ritzy. Their chocolate section sometimes includes men who pass out samples of different chocolates. Sometimes they even offer samples of whiskey and vodka. There are also fun eateries, like EAT., Pret a Manger (which I adore!), and tons more. The main lounge area just before all the gates is a bit of a hodgepodge though. Everyone kind of sprawls out randomly in the center, and the shops and restaurants are surrounding the area. One time, I experienced THE perfect airport pickup. I walked out of the arrivals gate, immediately caught a glimpse of my ride, and we took the elevator to one of the higher levels and bam--his car was parked right in front of us! Easy. Done. No wait. Tip: Heathrow offer only 15 minutes of free wifi if you register (this also requires credit card info). Also, I can't help but feel like I'm in Love Actually here! read more

London, England I like the London Heathrow airport waiting area where all the shops are at. I was just browsing around stores and exploring London without actually staying in London. It was kind of fun for me; I meet a lot of other people waiting and get to chit chat with them. And you get to spend US money while they tell you about their price in lbs. It was entertaining reminds me of being like in the second grade and the teacher is testing to see how fast and accurately you can count your pennies, dimes and nickels! ;-P read more

Woah London. Woah. Calm your nerves. It is not that serious. I had just finished a 9 hour flight from India with two crying babies. I never knew that a baby could cry for 9 hours straight. I saw that this feat was indeed possible. I believe that infants and babies do not belong on an airplane. "Oh but think of the baby! They're going through so much with the air pressure". Fine, I'll think of the baby and then file a CPS report for abuse. Why would you put your infant through so much change in pressure. My poor ears can't even handle it. Moreover, you just pissed off 160 passengers. I veered. My apologies. Anyway...that same baby was also in the customs line. I didn't even have luggage to check in. The customs line was 2 hours. I had grandeur plans of going out to downtown London, hitting up 3 pubs, eating fish and chips, and running around town saying "chip chip cheerio". By the time I was finished with getting out of the airport, I was so exhausted, I went to a random pub near my hotel, drank a beer, and crashed in my bed. The next day was a little better. That's how they earned their second star. The security staff in the morning was very nice and fresh! One even complimented me and said that I had a nice smile. Then he said, "I have a smile that a man should wake up to." Woah. Thanks homie, but my parents are right there! The shops are nice and expensive, and there's a lot to do while waiting for your flight. They don't post the gate until about an hour before boarding time. My dad likes to be four hours early for a flight. I had to keep myself occupied. They also have free wifi for 45 minutes. Just have your name and flight number handy. I wish they had a restaurant that served fish and chips. It was here though that I discovered the London Pride beer. It was delish! :) And there was no judgment for ordering it at 8am! :) read more

When Heathrow comes up in conversation people always say to avoid it like the plague because it's so huge, busy and overwhelming. In my opinion, it's actually a pretty decent airport considering the amount of traffic it handles. We've had to switch terminals every time we've flown through Heathrow as a connection point and the buses to get you back and forth are extremely frequent and efficient. I've been in Terminals 2 and 3, with 2 seeming to be a bit quieter than 3. Both had tons of shopping and restaurants though. No complaints there. My luggage did get stuck there when I had a tight connection coming from Canada and going on to Portugal, but it was sorted out fairly quickly. My only real complaint is their system for displaying what gate you fly out of. They typically don't display the gate until just before boarding. I like to get my gate early and chill out, but you can't really do that there. I know it's a busy airport, but we've been to other busy airports before and they always say gate numbers well in advance. When we flew from London to Calgary, we checked in two hours before our flight and were told our gate at the check in desk at that time, but it still wasn't displayed on the boards until just prior to boarding. read more

Terminal 3 was the equivalent of sitting in and empty warehouse waiting for a flight. Hot, stuffy, and way out in the back forty. The absolute worst airport that I have ever had the misfortune of going through. Incredibly bad customer service, especially when you are entering the country. There was a huge queue of people entering (if you're European then you're all set because you have a totally separate line and get through in no time) with one very aggressive and angry Indian woman barking orders at people that had just come off very long flights and were totally unprepared for the vitriol awaiting them. Welcome to London, yeah right. One poor girl next to me started crying as this horrible woman screamed at her to hurry up and fill out a form. I really wanted to say something but that's a stupid idea at an airport. I felt awful for her. Getting out of the airport wasn't easy either. We waited an eternity to find our bags. The only decent part was renting a car. The employees over there were polite and nice and you could tell they had actual customer service training. Leaving was another fiasco. They herd all international flights into a waiting area filled with expensive stores and gross restaurants. Finding a seat is nearly impossible and if you have more than an hour's wait for your flight you may go insane. Just a mass of humanity jammed together. Yuck. I'm never going to this airport again. I don't care if I have an 8 hour lay-over anywhere else in the world or if I have to go to London via a ferry from another country- I will never, ever pass through this horrendous airport again. I've been in and out of Heathrow a few times, and have never experienced any issues. Based on some of the other reviews, perhaps I am a bit lucky. I'll choose to be positive today, so I'll focus on just that. The international terminal is great in terms of a place to hang out, shop or eat. All of these options are located in a central location. However, the system of releasing gate information until 1 hour before boarding can be a bit annoying. I'm just one of those people that likes to be at the gate once I'm done exploring, but that's just me. If you like walking, great, you'll have plenty to do. If you don't, you can curse the long hallways and endless passages. Customs has always been a breeze, with cabs readily available just outside the door. However, the Heathrow Express can be a bit difficult to find, especially if you don't get a friendly person at the exit of customs to help you get there. Airports have a tendency to be hot, stuffy and dirty. Heathrow is none of those things, but still has a few quirks. And after all, why would you want to spend a ton of time in an airport anyway? Well said the members of parliament we have that brand spanking new airport that we just completed. People have to travel through there. Since abuse of people abroad is no longer fancied we will just do it on our own soil by making ridiculous rules for those connecting at Heathrow. Ok in all seriousness this is not the history, obviously, but traveling through Heathrow's security is well... garbage. Now liquids rules are pretty universal but Heathrow takes it up a notch by saying you cannot carry container, yes that is right the container cannot be more than 100 mLs. It doesn't matter if it's almost empty, they will throw it out. Oh and also you can't take more than a small ziplock bags worth of liquids or gels through. It doesn't matter that this is ok in all the other developed nations, the Brits are special and had to retain something of their colonial days!Oh and as they throw out your contact solution and toothpaste they will recommend you buy some at their airport store... brexit and all, I suppose they really need the money these days. I would love if someone could explain to me how sealed brand new toothpaste will threaten national security? Any who besides their terrible liquids policies there were two other reasons I found Heathrow appalling. A family with two young children, had their children's Tylenol taken away, and an elderly woman, who could barely stand was forced up out of her wheel chair by two members of Heathrow's staff so they could walk her through the screening instrument... really Heathrow the elderly woman and children's Tylenol are a threat? I guess I'm glad that in the US we make accommodations for young children and the elderly. They were even telling people they could not bring through breast milk and formula!? I mean seriously?! Surprised because in every other aspect Europe is usually more progressive. Once you have passed through their nazi era security the airport itself is very nice. They have a lot of nice shops throughout the international terminal and some lovely places to eat. I had a delicious salad and salmon tartine at a restaurant in terminal 3 called Rhubarb I highly recommend it. Want another star Heathrow? Get rid of your ridiculous rules and let sick children have their medicines and grannies sit down. Sheesh Anyways for those traveling through Heathrow read the website carefully, when I read it I assumed that it was 100 mLs of liquid, that the container size didn't matter as long as what was inside didn't exceed the allotted amount. Also if your liquids, including your medicine, like aerisol inhalers don't fit in a sandwich bag they will throw it out so check it before you leave. read more

What a mess. Five terminals? I find Heathrow almost completely incoherent. Obviously jumbled up in haste of necessity (or not, according to many environmental activists), Heathrow is only convenient on account of the Tube, otherwise I'm sure we can all share horror stories. It is, as well, the best serviced of the airports, and I imagine this pays off as well. But I have rarely felt more alien in a city than when I've passed through these cold corridors. read more

I've been in and out of Heathrow a few times. This mother fucker is a beast. You can get lost just in one of the lounge areas where you have 12984791284712974 people using the plugs and wifi. Yes, it's clean. Yes, there's a ton of food and booze. Yes, there's a ton of expensive shopping that makes no sense. Really, do they REALLY need a Louis Vuitton store in the airport? I guess so. On my last trip to Spain I had connections to/from here. On my flight back home I had no sleep for over 24 hours, so I was walking around like a zombie being shuttled from one part of the airport to another. I went from like Terminal 4 to Terminal 5 switch is still a long haul. Bus. Shuttle. Tram. Escalators. Walk. Walk. Walk. Let me tell you, with zero energy, this feels like it takes 30 hours. Soooo... I had my euro plugs and my US plugs with me, but not my UK plugs. I spent THIRTY FUCKING DOLLARS on their cheapest plug. They didn't have any available that would take US ones. It looked ridiculous. I had my UK plug plugged into the wall, my euro plug in that one, and my US plug in that one. Whatever, I got to charge my computer and get on my precious internets. I don't hate this airport, but fuck, it's so ridiculously crowded. I can't imagine this airport on a holiday weekend or during the summer vacation months. I've only been on off-season and it's a cluster fuck. If you can avoid a flight where you have to change terminals, do so. If not, plan at least a couple of hours in between flights. read more

I'm writing this review just for the tip I wish I'd had -- immigration queues are terrible. 2 different employees separately told me to get into the wrong line (2 different queues!) Wasted close to 20 minutes going in and out of wrong line. I saw 2 other probably US passport holders get out of the same wrong line. Very disorganized and employees don't seem to know what's going on. Better to ask fellow travelers than than the employees for help. read more

This airport seems to work pretty smoothly - as usual we turned up 3-4 hours ahead of a long-haul flight [additional time added for the recent added security] and everything worked like clockwork. I travel frequently and I travel light/efficiently. Until recently, my Heathrow experiences have been good (incidentally the food at the food court is overpriced-gas-station-quality, but that's unrelated). On May 5, 2014 at Terminal 5 near the middle, I was unfortunate that the security line my friend and I chose to go through was being operated by security personnel who hadn't read their manual . My luggage was put off to the side with no less than *15* other luggages (back filling into the scanner) because I had purposely left my tablet in my backpack. TSA in U.S specifically states that although laptops and large electronic devices must be removed, tablets and other small devices may remain in their case in your bags. My friend and I looked around, and NONE of the other security line had such a large backlog of hand-checked luggage. I confronted the woman who hand checking luggage with the speed of snail, who told me that I should have pulled out my tablet, telling me that *all* eletronic devices must be removed. The problem is that there was now a small crowd gathered at this particular security line because of how slow she was going, taking multiple trips. As a security person, I appreciate the discretion (stupidity, since she yelled at me that I was wrong, but let's stay civil) she applied. What's intolerable is that she single-handedly reduced my 2 hour layover to 5 minutes and the ONLY reason I might it to my next flight, having told her that she was going to make me miss my flight, is because 7 other passengers voluntarily and simultaneously let me cut forward in the queue when they saw that under her current pace, I would never make my flight. If you're going to make me dance for your security measures (which are nothing compared to TSA), have the decency of being consistent and quick about enforcing them. Random checks are one thing, poorly educated personnel that jeopardize people's plans are unacceptable. There's really only one word for that type of woman. And she fit the bill to the letter, short of having a tail. read more

With the addition on Terminal 5, Heathrow went from a 1 star to a 4 star. I remember flying from the US to Germany via LHR. Even when I travelled intl first the transfer was a nightmare. Long security lines, crappy halls. Now if I fly BA in F, I arrive T5 and leave T5 and spent my time in the Concorder or one of the other lounges. What I did not like was that when you fly out of a different terminal, even with lots of time, they won't let you in the T5 lounges. That's just silly. read more

Clean facilities for a busy airport. It's always nice to fly in here, especially the Paddington Express that can get you into the city center quickly. read more

This airport is sorta big, in a sense it has a subway system leading to it. It does take quite a bit of time to get to it as you have to walk outside. If you want to take the underground rail way to King's Cross, it takes about over an hour as it's about 24 stops. It's cheap but far. read more
