If half stars were available, I think I'd rate this 3.5. We've been here three times. It's a bit better food than Colorado Wok on the other side of the shopping center, and the ambiance is way better. The help acts like they're at Colorado Wok, which detracts a bit from the ambiance. I had Szechuan Chicken, my friend had Lo Mein Shrimp Soup. My dish was neither too salty or too greasy, and had a light, 'clean' taste to it. The soup was microwaved right before serving, and the ding was clearly audible from the kitchen. My friend gave the soup 3.5 stars. She would have liked more, crunchier veggies, and more noodles. Portion size was ample for me, I took some home. The soup was a bit smallish. We will go back again, so this review is a bit critical. read more

We ordered from Heaven Dragon last night. And it was awesome! This was truly the best Chinese food delivery experience we have had in a VERY long time. The food arrived within 45 minutes of placing the order - and it was piping hot and fresh. It was delivered contact-free. The driver called as he was leaving the box on the porch. We had sesame chicken, which was crispy and hot, NOT soggy. We also had schezwan chicken, kung pao chicken, and egg rolls. Everything was positively delicious! Highly recommended. We will be throwing away all of our other Chinese delivery menus. It's just Heaven Dragon from now on. read more

I went "Wow," when I saw they served shrimp/ sesame chicken platter. It sounded like a good idea, but the only way to get me to come back is to drag me. We liked the service-- they went ahead and replaced my very hard, impossible to bite on chicken. Both entrees were over cooked. We ended up getting basic entrees, but unfortunately the plates went back to their kitchen full. We loved, however, the crab cheese wontons. Amazing. Not bad. The portions are big and the chicken pieces in my kung pao lunch dish were very tender. Unfortunately the flavor left a bit to be desired. It was pretty bland by kung pao standards. There was no kick to it. Some may like the light flavor however, I expect kung pao to pack a whallop of flavor. As an illustration the "brown sauce" was more of an off creamy white. This was one of the worst Chinese take outs so far. Shrimp & scallops was terrible! The scallops - if those were scallops.... were basically a bite size piece of something that was chewier that bacon fat. There were maybe 2 pieces that were totally inedible. Special instructions for all dishes were not followed! :( Has Kung pao, chicken was over chicken. Delivery was super late & the driver had to wait at the restaurant for quite a while. Ordered takeout from the Broomfield Heaven Dragon for three people and paid an exorbitant amount for just three entrées. The food was OK, not great. What stood out to me was that the woman at the counter was Extremely unpleasant. All I wanted was a receipt for my credit card payment. This restaurant is very close to our home. We order take out often. We dined in on this afternoon. The food is always made with fresh vegetables. The meat is fresh and always tender. I mostly order the pork with vegetables. My guest were impressed with their selections. Their steamed rice is exceptional. Fresh fluffy... they do have a full bar. During the pandemic, this store and their employees have been repeatedly awesome at following COVID-19 protocols. You're able to stay in your car and call the restaurant to notify them you've arrived. They bring the food out quickly, with a mask and gloves on; you don't even have to come within 6 ft of them because they place your order on a table right outside the door. We got sesame chicken and it was good. Very tiny egg rolls but it was still good. The service on the other hand, very disorganized and unprofessional. I understand that due to COVID you can't go inside, so the lady told me they would call me when it was ready. Instead of calling me, they just had a man go outside with different foods yelling out names while everyone is waiting in the car for a call, not being able to hear. Ordered through the beyond menu app. Food was ready as I walked in which was great. I had asked for duck sauce and hot sauce...was given sweet and sour and hot mustard, apparently they don't have duck or hot sauce which I find VERY strange for a Chinese food restaurant....their packaging could be better. The styrofoam leaked the liquid from the food so that it soaked through the box..on to the food. Egg rolls here are small and thin and look like spring rolls. They were pretty good though. The beef lo mein was pretty bad only thing that saved it was the actual beef that we picked out and ate. The steamed dumplings were terrible. Hard and seemed old. The sauce was very heavy on the vinegar. The chicken and broccoli was a thumbs up. The fried rice was bland and they forgot my white rice so I can't rate that. Oh yes and the general Tsos was awful. I usually eat at the Thornton Heaven Dragon and it's always on point. However I placed an order over the phone at this location at 8pm. After finally getting the order and back home at almost 9, I noticed the Sizzling Seafood I ordered had a bad smell to it. It's not hard to tell when seafood smells spoiled. And when I tried a bite it tasted awful. I decided not to push my luck and eat any more of it. The steamed dumplings I ordered were totally hard, obviously old. The chicken curry was 98% vegetables and super runny. The fried rice looked and tasted like they just added soy sauce to white rice and didn't even bother to stir it all the way. When I called the restaurant, there was no answer as it was after 9pm. So I waited until 11am the next morning. When I called to get a refund the older man (owner I assume) said he required me to take all the food back to the restaurant for the refund. Petty but okay. When I got there, this man came out, searched through the food, and began to argue with me that it was good. He continued for a good five minutes about whether I deserved a refund and kept arguing that his food "was the best". Ridiculous. After just completely shutting down the conversation he grabbed my card and went inside. Came back out to shout "next time, you don't get a refund." Wonton soup with exactly 2 wontons. Tasteless vegetable stir fry, broccoli and beef and chicken low mein. We ordered delivery on line. They had no driver. After waiting an hour we called. This little shop nestled in the same shopping center as a woody's wood fired pizza, car rental place and a credit union has housed such big shots as Jr. Bush and Ben Nighthorse Cambell (I don't care either way) but there are pictures all over the walls touting the political big shots that have dined. I think this place has some great American Chinese given that a fair amount of what they offer is done in a fairly traditional manner. The egg rolls are all made on site, they aren't the frozen cabbage stuffed appetizers from a box. And they also offer walnut chicken a mayo laden dish that is offered at Kings Land and Empress. The portions were pretty huge as always and the waitress and owner were really attentive. The decor is also pretty fancy compared to some of the other American Chinese food places. I can honestly say that I feel truly sorry for those who rated this place so highly. Their taste buds may explode if they ever experienced what homemade Chinese food and sauces tastes like. That said, like an elderly person answering a telemarketer's call, I fell for the menu I received in my mailbox. Maybe it was the photos of the owner with President Bush or the fact it was freezing outside and the wife wanted a big ol' bowl of Wonton, I was weak. I told her we should go for lunch, that way you can sample the menu at a reduced price taking advantage of combo's and specials. Anyone would understand us falling for it, and let me tell you the three raving reviews about this place on yelp only made justifying it worse. I don't mind taking one for the team every now and then, and I know I am not the only person in Broomfield to have received their awe inspiring menu in the mail. So let this serve as your official warning if it's not heeded I can not be held responsible. The Food: It comes from a Can! I know there's skeptics out there that would never believe that at this very moment there are millions of cans of crappy Chinese food lining the shelves of mediocre / opportunistic restaurants out there. Believe me you can taste the difference. I'll start with the Wonton soup, a bowl of viscous yellow liquid adorned with limp dumplings served lukewarm. I'm not an expert per se on all things wonton but I have made it at home before. ( Which by the way is really easy to make and a lot lower in sodium than the alternative See allrecipies.com) How exactly do you serve a cold bowl of wonton without cabbage, bok choy, green onions, twice cooked pork slivers, etc.? Easy, pour it out of a can heat very gently and serve. Following our terrible soup would be the oily meatless eggrolls, Mmmm Seriously I thought I had passed out and woke up in a vegan's dream come true, a meatless fantasy filled with a bland tofu like array of anti-epicurean delights. WAKE UP! I may be alone in this but an eggroll should have some form of protein inside, deep fried shredded lettuce encased in an oily wrapper is not exactly what I secretly fantasize about. I have truly saved the best for last, how would you feel if I told you the wife had their "World Famous" Sesame Chicken and I went all Panda Express and tried the Orange Chicken only to find THEY TASTE EXACTLY THE SAME. No, no this cant be right, I tell myself as I continue to sample both plates at frantic pace. How could this be, they should be worlds apart. The answer lies in the fact that both sauces probably came from the same can. I will admit this, the pieces of "chicken" were eerily crispy, I mean we're talking KFC extra crispy style swimming in brown goo, It honestly defies all properties of food physics. I found myself trying more and more of this mediocre chow just to experience the unbelievable. The Service: Excellent, hence the single lonely star floating in a sea of possibility. After all that I could find nothing wrong with the presentation and service. That's what makes it so hard the verbally berate such nice folks, It's times like these I say shut up passive aggressive voice in my head and report the facts. They wear uniforms! They keep your water glass full, we all know how salty Chinese food can be it helps to follow each serving with a full glass of water. The tea was piping hot which astonished me in light of our soup. Summary: If you're in the mood for greasy salty canned food presented by well dressed polite servers have at it. They don't deliver so you will have to experience their Miami Vice decor in person. Being new to Colorado, my husband and I stayed home when we got our first snow and decided to order in. After a pizza joint told us the estimated delivery time was 80 minutes, we called Heaven Dragon. I work for a large company and we choose this restaurant for the entire company every once in a while. Their menu was conveniently online and they offered free delivery. We ordered off of their 'House Special Dinner' menu which includes an entree, soup, egg roll, and fried rice for $13.95! We ordered orange chicken and mu shu pork. We got a call from the delivery man about 40 minutes later that he was outside the gate. He spoke absolutely no English, so we had to walk down to meet him. The hot and sour soup was just ok, I've had better plenty of times. The fried rice has no other ingredients, but soy sauce. The egg rolls, however, were PHENOMENAL!!! I could tell that they were freshly made and they were done right. Orange chicken is my husband's go-to dish and he told me that it was THE BEST he has ever had. I have no idea how they did it, but the chicken was crispy and tender and had the lightest breading. The sauce was delicious as well. It was super thick like how it usually is. It also came with lots of steamed broccoli on the side. My mu shu pork was great too with fresh ingredients. Although the soup and fried rice was just alright, I'm giving this place a 5-star rating. They met all of my expectations when it comes to Chinese food delivery. Great customer service, fast delivery, and we were more than happy with the food we received. Order from the lunch menu to get a quality meal ( I reccommend the Sesame chicken for the perfect combination between spicy and sweet), your choice of egg roll, 2 crab cheese wontons, or 2 dumplings (try all 3, trust me), and your choice of soup (my favorite is egg drop). If you're not in the area, try 120th and Sheridan for Pearl Wok (I think they're owned by the same person) for the same quality service and tasty Chinese grub. read more

These guys know how to fry stuff. Everything they fry from sweet and sour pork to sesame chicken are crispy but not greasy. The Walnut chicken is my favorite but be warned it is super sweet. When we order it we have to order a savory plate to balance it out. The egg rolls are also above average. Heaven Dragon has the best Chinese-American style food I've had in twenty years. I am a huge fan of both traditional Chinese cuisine and Chinese-made-for-Americans. This place takes the cake. I've never ordered a single item from the menu that wasn't superb. And maybe I'm a sucker, but I was delighted to be served pineapple chicken in half a pineapple. Kitschy and delicious! When i placed my lunch special order they informed me none of their soups are suitable for vegetarians so I asked if I could have 2 egg rolls instead of the soup and crab wonton that comes with the meal. the lady said "yes we can do that" (you know where this is going, right?). I go pick up my order for sesame tofu, get back to the office, and am rewarded with one (not two) egg rolls and a crab wonton. Awesome. I can forgive that, but my sesame tofu was just terrible. Overly sweet, no sesame seeds to be seen, and not spicy at all despite the little chili pepper on the menu indicating "spicy." Underwhelming food. I was in the area and wanted some Chinese for lunch, and saw this place. It's still closed to dining in, but they are doing full take out. First thing I noticed is that the place could use a refresh - duct tape on a couple of booths and it just looked old and tired. However, that was not the basis for my 2 stars. I ordered Garlic Chicken and Pork Lo Mein (spicy) and both dishes were about as under spiced as possible without being totally unrecognizable as Chinese cuisine. Sauce on the Garlic Chicken was very runny, but on the plus side there were plenty of vegetables and the chicken was tender and cooked well. Lo Mein was just....dull. When we got our order home, we discovered that they forgot our crab cheese wontons (big strike against them, but I'll accept some credit as well for not thoroughly checking the box to ensure they'd completed the order). Overall the food was bland and flavorless; shocking for Chinese food, right?!?!? The soup was simply disappointing. The sesame chicken was more hard & crusty breading than actual chicken. The fried rice was undercooked. We tried adding soy sauce, but it got to the point where I simply couldn't add any more black salty liquid to try to help the flavors of this food. There are enough Chinese restaurants in Broomfield and the surrounding areas that we don't need to return here....and won't. read more
