I've written reviews for multiple establishments in the past and everything I've written so far has been negative. Moving forward, I'll actually start writing positive reviews for places I like, and Heavenly Bodyworks will be the first because they have single-handedly renewed my faith in how businesses should be run, both in professionalism and service. Long story short, I thought I could fix cracks and scratches on a first-gen Porsche Boxster from watching YouTube videos and completely flopped. In my panic, I drove my car to Heavenly Bodyworks based off of previous reviews I've read here on Yelp and was absolutely thrilled at the job they've done (see before and after pics). My car looked brand-new and my only regret is that I didn't go sooner. Junior, Crystal, and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful and beyond fair - an absolute gem and rarity in an industry notorious for sketchy business practices. I've been back several times since then for smaller jobs (car handle that didn't open from the inside, blown headlight) and each time has been a pleasant experience. I really hope I don't have to come back any time soon (because that means I messed up my baby somehow) but at this point, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. read more

I went to this body shop based on other Yelp reviews and needed repair work done on my car. I backed into a pillar in the garage at work. Don Jr. met me and gave me an estimate for the repair on my vehicle. I did my due diligence and got other estimates and his estimate was a fair one. The shop is in the same town as I lived, so it was very convenient for me to drop my car off. I called them back to set up an appointment to drop the car off and they said it would be done in 4 days if everything went smoothly. . Around the body shop were some BMW's so I figure they do good work, although I just drive a Toyota I hope it was a good sign. The car was dropped off on a Tuesday for the work to be done. When Friday afternoon rolls around I called to ask about the status and Don Jr. said he'll call me back if the car was ready. I never got a call back so I figure they did not finish the job. Since New Year's was a Sunday I figure they closed the shop on Monday. The shop was open the day after new years. So the following day I called them back and they told me that the car was ready. When I came and picked up my car I asked Don Jr. when the car was complete and he truthfully said Friday which I appreciate. He said they had to leave early Friday and told his workers to call customers to pick up their car, but I guess they dropped the ball. I told him that I was off on Monday and could have picked up the car then too if I would have known. I had to take time off work to pick the car on Tuesday. Don was cool about it and felt bad about the miscommunication from his workers, he offered me to a discount off the repair cost. I did not go through insurance so I was happy that he did that. Overall, my car looked great and have a lifetime warranty on the labor. I only took one star off because of lack of communication on their part for not reaching out to me when I car was done. I hope not to come back here again, but if I need to I will come back to Heavenly Body Works. read more

After reading reviews I decided to take a chance to bring in my new Mazda Cx-5 to have have scratches removed from the tailgate. I thought I would get an estimate and have to make an appointment to come back. Instead Kevin was gracious enough to have my repair completed during my initial "short" visit. My car looks like it did when I drove it off the lot brand new. I am very happy and pleased with the work completed and everyone was very pleasant and professional. Don also freely offered suggestions on how to care for the exterior. Just when I thought I lost all hope in humanity it was restored by Heavenly Bodyworks. My car was in an accident. Unfortunately, there was a part on back order from Honda. It took two months for it to come in. The insurance would only pay for one month of the car rental and I had to pay for the 2nd month. This family owned business tried to help me as much as possible to try and get the insurance to pay for the rental 2nd month or for Honda. It didn't work out but it was not their fault. They really tried and I really appreciated it. They showed me all the parts that had to be replaced which showed how honest they are. I highly recommend them. If I ever need body work done on my car again I would immediately go to them but hopefully I wont need it anytime soon. read more

The service here is absolutely incredible. This shop was recommended to me by my dealership-- BMW of Edison --after someone had hit my car in a parking lot. Not only did they do a phenomenal job repairing the damage needed, they were also able to do it within just a couple of days before a holiday. Furthermore, when I noticed several months later that one of the bumper pieces underneath the headlight was misaligned, they fixed it for me for free in addition to touching up the tiny knicks on the hood of my car-- no matter how much I insisted on paying them for their time! They truly value you as a customer, take great pride in their work and craftsmanship, and are so kind and pleasant to talk to and be around. read more

Someone recently tapped our car from behind, causing a piece connected to the bumper to protrude out ever so slightly. I went to Heavenly Body Works to inquire what could be done to fix the issue and the folks were able to snap the piece back into place. They even added some polish to the car to give it a fresh look. All of this was done free of charge, no questions asked. I attempted to provide a tip but they graciously insisted that payment was not necessary. I typically do not write reviews, but I was compelled to share this wonderful example of honesty and integrity. I hit a "no standing" pole and the front bumper cracked along with the resonator box. I wanted to get a few quotes and hence stopped by Heavenly Body Works. I met with Donald and given his 32+ years of experience, he gave me the most honest and best estimate of the various details. He did not push to make a deal and spent good amount of time understanding the problem and explaining me the internal working of the resonator etc. I did shop around for more estimates and other shops kept pushing for a deal and/or exaggerating the amount of work involved. I finally skipped the insurance company's preferred workshop and got the bumper fixed at Heavenly Body Works. The best part I liked about them is their honestly, simplicity in recommending the required work, and timeliness in getting the work done. I met Kevin while taking the car after the fix and he too explained all the details and gave a detailed list of work done. I would definitely recommend them. read more
