It did not smell like chemicals. It is a small local salon and they do quality work. I highly recommend. Today I walked in as one lady was leaving. She had a facial done. When you arrive they will confirm the services and offer you a complimentary beverage. Go get your nails done. Next time I'll request a facial mask while I get a pedicure. Prices are affordable and competitive with other salons on the area.

Janai did a wonderful job with my dip manicure and fabulous sparkle nails. I have an event in Vegas next week and this gives it just the sparkle I needed. She is an absolute MASTER at the dip technique. My nails always look beautiful, I go from long to short, and they have looked phenomenal regardless of the length. They tend to grow quickly because they NEVER break! Selina is always so warm and welcoming and makes me feel like a valued customer. Everyone has had those moments where you don't want to point out a flaw on your nails because you don't want to offend your nail tech but Selina welcomes it. She encourages you to inspect and point out any flaw you may see but to be honest, I think I've pointed out a tiny flaw in all my years of being her customer. I'm really disappointed with my recent experience. I paid $84 for this nail set, and the quality does not match the price at all. There are clear inconsistencies in where the acrylic starts at the base of each nail, and some of them already look grown out--even though this photo was taken the same day. That comes down to poor application and lack of attention to detail. On top of that, a few nails are already lifting, which should never happen immediately after a fresh set. The overall finish just looks uneven and like I did it myself. What's even more frustrating is that cuticle care isn't included and costs an extra $10. Without it, the nails look incomplete and messy around the edges. I've honestly never been to a salon that charges separately for something that should be part of the service, especially at this price point. For $84, I expected clean, precise work and long-lasting results. this set fell far short of that. I've attached a pic with my review.

A simple change of builder gel and polish change took nearly 2 hours today despite the salon not being busy. All the of remaining nail techs from the original ownership complete excellent work but I've noticed the new hires rush and produce sloppy work. Another frustrating aspect is they started a new booking/reward system but did not transfer over any points. I have been a client for nearly 3 years but have zero points. The only redeeming factor from today is another nail tech noticed the owner's sloppy work and remedied it without me even having to ask.

At 1150 his colleague started filing my nails, and then I had to wait a little longer for him to finish his previous client. It was a little after 12 when he finally had me seated. He was very thorough and meticulous with my nails, and asked me a few times if the progress, shape, color, etc was ok. He nicked one of my cuticles and it bled a tiny bit, that part was unfortunate. After all was complete I walked out at about 1:30. Overall he did a great job, I do love the after results minus the sore cuticle. If you have the time to spare then I recommend giving it a shot.
