This place was your corner shop with the BEST service and such affordable prices. All their sandwiches are less than $10, have great breakfast, and all the locals come here all the time. I got their prosciutto sandwich and my friend got their bacon BLT. Fresh ingredients and def worth checking out !! Next time gonna try their bagels :) Instagram - @joangela.eats

One of the best places to get hot and unique burgers in NYC! The bagel was ready in a matter of minutes and tasted amazing.

Solid place for a grab and go morning bagel. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself putting this place a part of my morning routine. The bagels aren't life-changing, but they're affordable and *so* tasty--soft, slightly crisp on the outside, and good chew. Breakfast of champions! When you get there, the line can be long so it's hard to tell what's going on. The line tends to start at the back, not at the door. Some of the review photos on here have paper menus, but the only menus to speak of at the restaurant are on the walls behind the counters (difficult to read when it's crowded) and the counter displays of bagels and spreads. I'd suggest scoping out what you want beforehand. They have pretty much any kind of bagel and spread you could want, so if nothing on the menu looks appealing, make your own! Thankfully, the line moves quickly. Seating available but I wouldn't plan to stay since it's very limited.

A simple sausage egg and cheese on a croissant is all I need to get me through breakfast AND lunch! I also love the cream cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel. Lines can be long, but worth the wait. My husband loves the hot coffee and my sister likes it with hazelnut creamer. Simple coffee beans and nothing special but goes really well with the sandwiches. Staffs are all super friendly and cheerful, even at 7am which is definitely a plus for those early morning days.

Best NYC bagel I've had to date. Local spot. Busy. Many items on the menu including breakfast. There was a line but moved quickly. Employees were rocking it as always. Great service.

Soft bagels and pretty inexpensive classic breakfast sandwiches! Pick your bagel and filling. I got the everything with scallion cream cheese and lox. The service is quick even though it can be busy. There's a small outdoor seating area but We brought ours down to east river park which is a short walk

    Medium sized coffee. So yummy.

Overall: AMAZING BAGEL SPOT. Variety: large variety of bagels, spreads, protein options, breakfast platters, and coffee/tea. Cannot recommend this place enough. Please come for your breakfast bagel fix!! Price: $, BEST price in the lower east side Service: staff are all friendly and will even get to know your faces and names !!

This bagel caused me to miss the bus, forcing me to figure out how to kill the following two hours before the next came. Was it worth it? It is with a heavy heart that I must say: No!!!! Grr... Don't get me wrong, the bagel itself was really good (i.e. objectively above average quality) and the lady behind the register was super sweet and had great vibes but wow, the SEC was a disappointment. Very dry as well as stingy in terms of the egg and cheese amounts. Maybe I'm just big and greedy but when I order a SEC, I want it to be PHAT. The thing is though, given how good the bagel itself was, I'm compelled to think that maybe I just ordered the wrong thing from here? Perchance ... but all I'm gonna say is that I've had significantly more delectable SEC bagels in NJ. No disrespect though.

Small space inside but you don't need much space to make bussin sandwiches. Walking or public transportation is preferred. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here after a long day doing booth duty at a summit and was starving from not eating the entire day. Fortunatley the place was pretty quiet since it was 2pm and I got my orders in. For sandwiches, I ended up getting the Favolosa and the Italiana. The favolosa had a delicious artichoke cream and salami that was a banger. The italiana had all your great italian cured meats as well as a truffle cream sauce that made the umami bomb even more umami. So good! THE FINAL BAMBOO: The two sandwiches were around $45, a little pricier on the sandwich side but man are they delicious. I'll definitely be back when I'm in NYC.

Someone order a Hot Italian? Here I am…read more The legendary Florentine sandwich shop achieved global fame by earning some of the highest praise in food journalism for its massive, fresh-baked schiacciata sandwiches. Google their name and "best" and get hundreds of hits, but the majors who crowned them "best sandwich" title include Saveur Magazine, the big one touted by the family; Eater NY, ranking La Paradiso the most elite Italian sandwich outside of Italy; Las Vegas Weekly, who crowned them "Home of the world's best sandwiches"; TripAdvisor, for whom the Italian original is the most reviewed eatery with a near perfect rating; and The Infatuation NYC guides who promise the execution of the crispy, airy schiacciata bread completely justifies the hype. All 17 options looked amazing, so I spoke to a regular in line, telling her I couldn't decide between "La Paradiso", the most praised (even though she informed me "mortadella is just bolonie" or the Hot Italian, which was more my style. So, I did what any gluttonous American would do and I got both. And a Diet Coke, of course. La Paradiso has thinly sliced bolonie for a savory base, with creamy shredded stacciatella cheese, with sweet but earthy pistachio cream, and a sprinkle of toasted pistachio for texture (that I didn't detect). It was good, but I will likely fuggedaboutit. The Hot Italian had thin, lean turkey, spicy and smoky spreadable Calabrian pork sausage, a balancing provolone, calabrian chili honey, and peppery arugula (that they claim adds crunch that I didn't detect). Were they life-changing? No. But I rank Paradiso a 8.8 and Hot Italian a 10. And because everyone is hard-working and everything is so freshly prepared and cut, it's a class act. They should seriously make a sign that says, "Can't decide? Get two!" and then give me free sandwiches on my yearly trips for the idea.

I'm so glad Broad Nosh Bagels & Deli popped up in my search, as it was exactly what I was looking to enjoy. A couple of us trekked the few blocks to find the storefront. Inside it was PACKED, and several groups and lines snaked around the dividers. But the line moved quickly between customers picking up to-go meals and placing orders at the counters. The display cases are beautiful and feature so many different kinds of cream cheese. (Who knew you could make a whole vat of Biscoff?) They also had many types of smoked fish and toppings for customers filing through. Once you order food, you take your ticket to the register where you can add any drinks. This also went fairly quickly. Food and drink order numbers were called out and checked with the receipts, although they called out a set of orders for several minutes and no one came to pick them up. There are a few tables there, but since customers wait to grab drinks and food near the front, the couple tables at the front were basically for crowd control. I definitely wouldn't try to eat there unless I happened to be going at a quieter time. I got the bagel with smoked salmon, and it was exactly what I had been craving. Their bagels are a quarter pound each, so you might even get two meals out of it if you have a fridge for storage. But even as good as the bagel was, the hot chai latte with oat milk was the star for me. It was so incredibly layered for flavor and fragrant, just lightly sweet. I would go out of my way on a trip to NYC just to get one of these for breakfast! We all really enjoyed our food, and I will definitely return.

We ducked here to grab some nourishment before I became to hangry. Ordering takes place at the counter then grab a table. I had a 1/2 bowl of their "famous chicken soup" and 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Had good flavor and was enough to warm me up on this brisk morning. My niece did a bagel, and after trying all week she finally got one exactly how she wanted it made. We ate and chilled for a bit, no plans for the day other than making it to the airport to go home. Was able to people watch and catch up without feeling rushed to leave. Saw locals come through, so you know it is a place worth stopping. The staff were nice and even apologized for not being able to give me the soup I wanted in a half order. Date of visit: April 14, 2026…read more Our friend wanted to go to a real New York deli during her first trip to the city and this is the one in the vicinity of Times Square and our evening show that was the highest rated according to my fellow Yelpers, but I am not quite sure why based on our experience. Things did start out great, with Boudjema being very friendly and helpful as we placed our order. And once we got seated, we were able to fully appreciate the vibe, both in the primarily 70s playlist, but also the mirror and brass touches across the restaurant. Food-wise, however, there were some definite opportunities. My Roasted Turkey sandwich did come on quite possibly the best rye bread I have ever had, warm and flavorful. But while the gravy was also good, the turkey was cold. This odd temperature mismatch made it hard to appreciate the generous portion of meat on the sandwich. We also ordered some tater tots and those were quite good. While it definitely could have been worse--and I've had worse in New York City--this also could have been so much better.
