Thumbs up for the burger! Everything else was just okay. Service needs improvement. I stood at the front door waiting on a table for a minute then realized nobody was going to come so I sat at one of the bar tables. I sat there for another 5-7 mins before the bartender came out from hiding and gave me a menu. I ordered the Bad 'Bama Jama (since the server said the White BBQ sauce was what they were famous for) and added lettuce and tomato. Interesting combination of ingredients, but I honestly couldn't taste the banana peppers until the end. I could tell the meat was fresh and good quality, but the patty was on the small side, around 1/3lb. I also added a vanilla brown which I've never heard of before but was pretty good too. I thought the white bbq sauce was pretty good on my burger. The peanut cold slaw was another story. Seemed homemade with a lot of mayo as the consistency was pretty thick...not like any cold slaw I've ever had. Didn't really care for it. read more

Stopped by for lunch and sat at the bar. It was pretty busy with the lunch crowd. There was only 1 bartender/ waitress covering the bar as well as the tables in the bar area. Service could have beEn better, in part due to staffing but she didn't do herself any favors and was pretty inefficient making multiple trips empty handed. The Bad Ass Buffalo salad was outstanding with homemade blue cheese dressing. Truly a full meal even for a huge eater The men's restroom was pretty dirty And for God's sake put a coat hook in the stalls. It is snowing outside- people wear coats and don't want too throw them on the nasty floor. Pretty nice bourbon selection which. should be the case in a Kentucky tavern. Stopped in to catch a quick dinner and a few drinks on St Patrick's day. Of course like every bar this day was busy. And to add a UK basketball game was going on. Let me say 2 great things about this place. One the bar maid I think Heather was so friendly and very accommodating. For being so busy she got things done with out any problem. And next the 1/2 chicken was simply fantastic. And to make it over the top was this Alabama white sauce poured on top. My oh my. It has nice TV's to watch sports. Not a big bar. Hebron Grille has significantly improved since previous years. This is a great family spot to stop in for lunch or dinner. They have a full bar, too. Sometimes they even have live music inside. They also have a covered patio that is really nice to sit in and just enjoy a drink and appetizer. This place has a variety of dishes - from HUGE baked potatoes, hamburgers, wings, sandwiches, tacos, great shareable appetizers, and really great desserts. I usually get a house salad here and it honestly is hit or miss - sometimes there is more cheese than lettuce - maybe some people enjoy that but I don't. My favorite thing they serve here are their mashed potatoes. They are served with melted butter and are really good. Their asparagus is great as well. They really don't have many dishes for vegetarians but there are plenty of sides and/or appetizers available. A lot of their dishes feature an Alabama white bbq sauce that people rave about. I personally have not tried it but many of the people I have eaten with here enjoy it. It's kind of their staple. They also have a kids menu. Okay but the real star of the show for Hebron Grille is the Swiss Chocolate Chalet Cake. Myself and two others shared it on our last visit and I thought about it for a week straight after. It is a chocolate cake layered with cheese cake and a chocolate mousse. The slice is GINORMOUS and there is no way one person could eat it alone. The girls who work here are attentive and nice. I think the manager sat down at our table and talked to us for a little bit, which is unexpected but cool. You can tell they take pride in their business and care about their customers. How can you not want to support a local business like this? I suggest giving this hometown spot a try if you have not. Was visiting Kentucky and wanted to try the local foods. We were not disappointed. Jess was our server and did an amazing job making us feel welcome and suggesting some of her favorite dishes. Very nice up scale pub type eatery. Casual dining with many menu options and a breakfast / brunch selection along with signature drinks table side or at the full bar. 6 large tv screens and lots of wood and interesting decor makes for added atmosphere. My girlfriend and I walked in to this restaurant for the first time a half hour ago (party of two) to eat at the bar or inside seating. The party of two BEHIND US were waived over to be sat before us to take up the last table(they did not call ahead). This would of created a 20+ minute wait for us. I asked the hostess if they called ahead for seating, she said no you can only call ahead if you have a party of 6 or more. I said we are a party of two just like the couple behind us waiting. She said they are family of the manager which is why they got the seated before you. We left and will not support this local restaurant. We just moved to this area, otherwise I would've never known about Hebron Grille, but I am so glad we found it! The prices are great, the service is good, and the food is just sooo good. You get so much for what you pay and I always leave feeling very full. The place itself is a little small, but never seems packed (from my experience) and they also have a nice bar area. Our most recent visit, my husband, his dad, and brother all ordered the Bad Bama Jama burger with fries. They were all raving about how good it was. The Alabama white sauce they put on everything here is just awesome. You have to try it! I ordered the Cincy Fish and Chips and I could definitely taste the Rhinegeist Cougar beer batter on it. So delicious. The fries they have are "twisted", kind of like a cross between a regular fry and a tater tot, and they are awesome too. They also serve a peanut slaw, which is so yummy. We were moving our daughter into college this day and really needed a good meal. This place was perfect, great food, great value and super accommodating. We didn't think our student daughter would be able to join us and when she could the waiter was great about letting us wait with ordering until she got there. Just had to stop and take a moment to say how much we love the Hebron Grille. Hebron doesn't have a ton of options and the Grille is a jewel for our family. The diamond in their crown is Amy Lewis. Amy not only knows our family and greets us by name, she remembers our drinks, what we order for dinner, and never misses a beat on service. She's not only an amazing employee, she's become a valued friend. I cannot imagine a Thursday night without her. We always hope to see her smiling face and her service is unsurpassed. Our kids bring her valentines and are so sad when she's not working on an evening when we come for dinner. Food we love: Filet tips Manhattan. ask for medium rare. :) we love the pretzel bites and the wings. you really can't go wrong. Go crazy and order gator bites! they come with tater tots. Stopped in on my way to the airport. Tried the alabama tacos..very yummy sauce sweet,spicey,large serving of chicken stuffed into a soft tortilla. Even a sprinkle of fresh cilantro. So my boyfriend and I ventured out to Hebron Grille today. We heard all these rumors of their White BBQ sauce being to die for as well as their potato's so of course we had to go try them. The potato's were so good I didn't even have a chance to take a picture bc I was so concerned about eating it. The fries were interesting and my boyfriend really enjoyed the twisted seasoned fries ! The burger was definitely over cooked as most of the other reviews say, he didn't eat it & wasn't a fan but everything else was delicious. The peanut coleslaw was a different dish I've never heard of and was so so good. The sweet creamy coleslaw paired with the salty peanuts was a combination I would never think to make but was delicious ! Relied on my fellow Yelpers to help find this little gem while staying in the area for the weekend, and they did not disappoint. The decor is solid wood style bar & grill, a decent size bar area with a moderate dining area. Booths are large and accommodating; round and rectangular tables are available to fit any size table. Wait staff was very pleasant and readily available to refill drinks or offer suggestions. Overall dining experience was solid. We started with the 8 piece wings with the Memphis BBQ sauce. The wings were rather large and not overcooked. Juicy and plump. The Memphis BBQ sauce was rather tangy and sweet, delicious! The distinctive southern style flavors were bold and spot on for all the entrees. The White Alabama BBQ Chicken was a quarter chicken that was not breaded, but deep-fried to a perfectly crisp skin and drizzled with their famous, and very delicious, white bbq sauce. I have never had fried chicken so fall-off-the-bone tender. I asked the cook if they pressure cooked it; they said no, just carefully fried with a temperature gauge to the correct doneness. It was perfection, bursting with flavor. The mashed potatoes and greenbeans were served southern style and were a perfect complement to the dish. Others at the table had the salmon with asparagus. The salmon was described as borderline perfect/overdone - yet perfect. Moist and yummy, infused with lemony goodness. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. The Bad Bama Jama is the reason for the 4 stars; without it this would be a 5 star review. As mentioned by other fellow yelpers, this too was cooked to death. Very sad this seems to be a trend. Based on our experience and that of others, pass on this option. Other items sampled were the Alabama Potato with grilled chicken, applewood bacon, Alabama white BBQ sauce and cheddar jack. My dinner companion claims the flavor is delicious, but skimpy on the chicken. The tots are fantastic; not greasy as you typically see when fried crispy. These were a big hit with the kids. The chicken tenders are just as tender and flavorful as all other chicken we had. Overall a very successful experience. Too bad we don't live near here or this might become a regular stop. Definitely stop in and give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed. read more

Hebron Grill is a decent place to grab a meal and a beer. I was taken there today for lunch and was imediatley impressed by the decor. Clean, airy & light, and well taken care of. We picked a table out and someone was there, moments after we sat down, with menus and silverware. The options on the lunch the menu, made it difficult to decide on what to order because everything sounded great. Our server took our order and was quick to get us our drinks. I'm sorry to say... no beer this time, we all had to go back to work. I ordered the Hebron Hot Chicken and a sweet tea. My colleagues ordered the Fish and Chips and a wrap of some sorts of which I can't remember the name. The sweet tea was southern sweet tea! It was a nice change from what is passed off as sweet tea by the fast food joints. The food came out and looked amazing. I have never heard of peanut slaw and have to admit, it looked strange when it came out. I am an adventurous eater and I was curious to see what it was like. It was a flavor combination that works! The saltiness of the peanut is a nice complement to the sweet, creamy slaw and the peanuts add an interesting crunch. I would eat it again. The chicken was de-boned except for a small bone that served as a handle. It was lightly breaded, deep fried, and had the appearance of hot chicken. It was served with a spicy honey sauce. The last side for may dish was mashed potatoes. I enjoy a good mash and these looked great with a lump of butter on top, melting away. So, that was the good. Now for the not so good. One bite of the mashed potatoes and I could tell they were instant mashed potatoes. The chicken had the unfortunate taste like it was dredged in Shake-n-Bake. Another problem with the chicken was that it wasn't hot or spicy at all. The slaw, while a decent flavor combination with the peanuts, was drowning in mayo, and the slaw was sliced so thin that it didn't have any crunch or bite. It is unfortunate because my meal has the potential to blow your socks off. Instant or pre-made mashed potatoes are not a substitute for the real thing. I'd do some more experimentation with the dredge and come up with something that didn't taste like Shake-n-Bake. I'd also kick the spice up a notch or offer various levels of spiciness. Also, maybe drizzle a bit more sauce over the chicken and provide a side of it for dipping your chicken in to. Maybe my disappointment is a by product of the pandemic. I know things have been difficult, especially in the restaurant industry. Money is tight and buying ready-made products can help. So, I am not going to let one so-so meal deter me from trying other things on the menu. I will be back sometime in the future and try again. read more

Tonight I met some friends at the Hebron Grill! The food was excellent so much to choose from , the service was excellent and the place is clean and the atmosphere is great! It was nice to eat somewhere that wasn't a chain but was modern and fun, we were told they even have music there a few nights a week! This is a fantastic local establishment. If you find yourself walking in here for dinner one night, whatever you do, get a side of the Alabama white BBQ sauce. I had it on my salad even. The truffle fries were great. And my wife had the Sunday meatloaf...probably best meatloaf ever? Better than grandma's?! The service was excellent and they were very accommodating to my wife and toddler. There were other families in there and everyone seemed very happy with the food and service. Everything I've tried here is amazing. The loaded tatie tots, the pasta, the chicken WRAP!! Oh goodness, and my kids love the loaded tots and spaghetti too! Definitely gets busy around 6pm, so we usually head over earlier. Only place we've been to where we consistently receive good food and they can make more than one dish well. Highly recommend the catfish as well! My husband enjoys that they cook your burger to order, so he doesn't have to worry about getting a well done burger because he can request medium rare. We've been here at least 7-8 times since moving to Florence in November 2021, if that tells you anything! read more

This restaurant is a local favorite and great place to see people you may know from the Hebron/Burlington area. They have an extensive menu with a southern creole flair.
