Being from out of town, we relied on Yelp and the confirmation of our hotel clerk on a good local spot. Heinnie's did not disappoint. You may wonder if you're going in the right doors, but if you're at the double doors on the side of the building, GO IN! We saw a lot of folks eating steaks- sirloins mostly it seemed, but we were looking for a little lighter fare. Their specialty is the Heinnie Burger, with a blend of spices and onion mixed in with the burger. For those saying they want a lighter fare but ignoring their common sense, there is the Clabaugh, named for one of their favorite patrons, that consists of a double Heinnie plus bacon, mushrooms and three different cheeses and all the fixins. When the waitress said it was intimidating, she wasn't kidding. I'm a pretty healthy person, fairly fit and I can't remember ever eating that much at a restaurant. If you've got a healthy appetite, you can probably easily handle it. Most importantly- it was awesome! Didn't order the fries, but my son said they were really good. My wife had a fried pollock sandwich that she really enjoyed. Make sure to have the combo platter for an app - the zucchini sticks are great! Heinnies is the kind of hidden gem that's hard to find unless you're a local. It's tucked away slightly off the beaten path and doesn't have a large flashy sign out front ushering you in. Walking in the regulars turned their heads but then continued on with their own business. Ordered a Heinniecheeseburger cooked rare with the all fixings and a basket of waffle fries. It was a patty formed from 1/3 pound of fresh ground Prime steak trimmings topped with American cheese on a soft white bun. The burger was the juiciest most flavorful burger I have ever had. And I've eaten a lot of burgers. The patty juices completely wreaked havoc on the bun. The buns held up until the end, but barely. The rabbit food is completely unnecessary and might have ruined a lesser burger. In the Heinnie the vegetation merely acted as a distraction and I didn't notice it. Get your burgers with just cheese, patty and bun and you'll be loving it. Waffle fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. For the big boys, they have the Claybaugh, which are two Heinnies topped with just about every single type of cheese and topping possible. I wasn't ready for a food coma just yet though, maybe next time. Prices can't be beat w/ the Heinnie being 5 bucks and a Heinnie plate rounding out at 7.45 (includes fries and slaw). Well, let me just start with customer service....excellent! Two friendly faces greeted us as we walked through the front door. They took us to our seats promptly and two servers both wished us to have a good meal. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. She got us our drinks very quickly we ordered some onion ring appetizers and they seem to be ready in the blink of an eye. We both ordered the double Heinnies cheese burger and I would post a picture but it was so big I don't think I could fit it in the frame of the camera on my phone. It was well seasoned well cooked and had a great selection of toppings to put on it. It was too big to eat, we should've gotten a single burger! Came here for my brother in laws birthday on a Wednesday night. My husband and I decided to try that steak for 2 special - which comes with a 35 Oz sirloin steak and 4 sides of your choice. When our steak first came out, I was in awe because of how juicy it looked. We like our steak medium rare and it was cooked just how we wanted it. We took a bite out of the steak and it tasted just like it looked. And if you know good steak, there is no need for A1 sauce - this steak was a good example of that.
