The good is the uniqueness. The bad is the price. I definitely will go back. It's one of the few good restaurants in Rigby.

This place is hands down my new all time favorite place in Rigby. If you've looked for food options in Rigby you probably know the options are pretty limited. So finding a low key and fun place is super awesome. There's nowhere in all of eastern idaho that I've seen like this. Honestly there's not much anywhere else in the us Ive seen like this. They are like a Italian food fast food place with a bunch of great different options from calzones or bambino's (which are like many calzones) or pastas. The food itself isn't to die for but is still super good, if you haven't tried it at least once go give it a shot, you won't regret it. read more

Came here in a suggestion from my sister. The Bambino was soft and had good flavor. The onion rings were crispy - just the way I like them. The fries were crispy as well. Both the fries and onion rings were very good. Afterwards I had a chocolate ice cream. The ice cream was very smooth and had a good chocolate flavor. Soda is Coke products. 3.5 stars is offensive. I ended up here cause my friend guilted me into it (his hometown not mine) and I wasn't expecting anything but boyyyyy was I chapped after trying 4 of their options. Bbq pork was the fave with the ranch to dip. Sweet Jezebel.. all 4 were so good genuinely. I'm not just like raving to be dramatic.. it was genuinely just real good. It's like if your childhood after school snack of a hot pocket went into the bibbidy bobbidy boutique and came out hotter and fresher and yummier. We stopped by on our way home from island park for what we thought was a favor to a friend who recommended here. Turns out it's actually a 10/10 and the bambinos are delish. We ordered the classic, chicken ranch, meatball and bbq pork. Bbq was our favorite but we would happily order any one of these again. read more

As a retired Navy Officer, I have had the wonderful experience of dining in all sorts of restaurants, cafes, diners, etc. throughout the world, including several cities in Italy. I have eaten in many places in Naples, Rome, Civitavecchia, Aviano, Sigonella, Catania, and probably a half-dozen other towns. The Great Bambino serves some of the worst "Italian" food I have ever had. It was disgusting. It was greasy, bland, and rather overpriced for the amount of food received. It sat on our stomachs like a brick. The only time I have ever had worse Italian food was at a place in Upstate New York. To top it all off, the owner is a pompous, arrogant prude who, instead of replying to criticism of his establishment like a normal restaurateur, elects to leave snarky comments about the reviewers. I was referred to try this cute place while on a work trip in Rigby. It was easy to find and I was relieved that they had a drive through. The young lady that helped me, recommended I try the spicy bambino, which did not disappoint. Their ranch is off the charts. Fries are crispy and have a great flavor. Actually pretty big fan of Bambino's. They are like a pita scone dough deep fried filled with your choice. I've gotten original which is kinda like a meat with red sauce. The chicken ranch which is like my favorite. BBQ one with pork which is pretty good. Then I tried a bite of my boyfriends spicy one. It's was good! Little too spicy for me but good. I've loved all the bambino's here that I've tried just my favorite it chicken ranch. Fries are great and they give enough option of fry sauce or ketchup. Love that because I'm a fry sauce person. Service has been fine. It's usually a little bit of a wait so prepare yourself. It's not the fastest service but it's super good and definitely one of my favs in Rigby. read more

When I come to town I have to beg my family to come to their childhood favorite to get a bambino as the management/ownership is extremely poor and unfortunately with how much I like and enjoy the product I won't be visiting again either. Who seems to be the manager on duty through the entirety of my visit has been eating fries right out of where they are served one by one then immediately is wiping his hands on his green polo. Fast-food sit in. They have a drive through. Fast service. We ordered a chicken mushroom artichoke calzone, three meat calzone & a kids pepperoni bambino. Meals come with drink and fries. Well if you like politicians you will like this place. Bambino's used to be filling and have lots of sauce and meat and cheese or other toppings. I ordered a "Garden salad with soup, w/bread sticks and water. Wife ordered "Meaty Marinara Pasta" and a soda, and we ate in. Discovered this is a "fast food grab and go" joint! Not a restaurant! My salad was a prefabbed small (takeout) plastic cube, and soup in a plastic bowl. Utensils were the cheapest plastic I have ever had, and I'm over 7 decades old. The fork was soo cheep it would not penetrate the iceberg lettuce spine, meaning the teeth only bent. The spoon was about the same, with handle 30% off angle from the spoon. I seriously thought eating "IN" would be with real utensils and real meal dishes. The soup was ("Tomato Bisk") which was probably the best tasting. It was probably a batch of Campbell's or another canned soup company, heated up in a microwave. Now the 2 breadsticks were not crusted tasteless Whitbread, (what I call "gut food"). My wife's Meaty Marinara Pasta was bad. She said her noodles were old and mushy. The meat and marinara sauce had a bad chemical aftertaste. We have been around the block and back, including Italy, and I must say this place served us "fast food garbage". We would have done better going to Wendy's down the street. read more

I originally went here a few years ago and ordered a shrimp pasta. I waited over 20 minutes for it, and it essentially tasted like Chef Boyardee canned pasta. I was not super impressed. I then went back recently to give it another try and order some Bambinos (more what they are known for). Those tasted yummier and were enjoyable. A bit disappointed... the food is always great. However, I asked to add an item to my order. They added it and charged me for it, but when I got home, I discovered I never received my extra bambino. Likewise, I went inside with my partner a couple weeks ago. We went and stood in line to order, but the employees neglected to greet us and continued talking amongst themselves until we interjected. My wife got me hooked on these when we went to Rigby for the first time. The first question I asked was "WTF is a Bambino" the short answer: It is like a Personal Pizza and Calzone all in one. They were giving people their orders that came in the store after me. Great food and excellent service. Good prices too. What gave this a five star rating though was the toilet paper. Their toilet paper is the softest, nicest toilet paper money can buy. If you're looking to take a nice poop at a restaurant then this is the place to go. read more

What a great surprise that stumbled upon. The dining area is a bit small. The staff were very helpful and helped us pick just the right food. A bambino is a smaller version of a calzone that is a Rigby Idaho classic. I used to get these for $1 after junior high school let out. Now the store has moved and expanded and the bambinos have more variety. Still love coming to eat here! The classic is great, the chicken and ranch is awesome but my favorite so far is the BBQ bambino. read more

It's good, it really is. The food is outstanding and it's good quality. But be warned, you are guaranteed a 15 minute wait every time. Drive thru is even worse as the wait one time was 45 minutes (Not even exaggerating). Just be warned, make sure you're not in a rush. read more
