We went to papa Tom's for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We got there after 2pm it was empty. It was nice to have the place to ourselves for a bit. This is about the third time we have been there. The paint is old the carpet is very dirty and has holes in it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was fantastic and the kid working the front counter was very nice and helped us make sure we got everything we needed. The pizza nice and hot and fresh. I don't particularly like thin crust pizza but I'll eat this every once a while. Over all it was good experience. read more

Ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch, this could have been way better. The crust is really thin, cracker like. Not my favorite. Overly salty. If this had garlic, chopped green onions. Could really be something. This pizza didn't sit well with me after 2-3 hours. I could only think the chicken wasn't fresh. Pizza is great and the staff were nice. Only big issue was the changing table in the women's bathroom was partially broken. It cannot safely hold up a baby without physically holding it while changing your baby. Should seriously consider fixing. read more

Most people like this local overpriced pizza joint. It was pretty good years ago when they made their own dough. They receive it in frozen now and it's way below par. There are several pizza places in the falls that have never frozen dough. It's middle of the pack at best. read more

I dont know what has happened to this place. Used to be the best around now its not very good at all.. very little cheese on the pizza. I just wanted a medium pepperoni pizza...I placed an order at 7:33. I spelled my street address 3 times and was told my order would be delivered in roughly 50 minutes. I asked if it would be faster for me to just pick it up, and was told no. I started to wonder if I was ever going to receive my already paid for food, so I called at 8:43. The service member looked through a stack of pizzas and said it would be about 10-15 more mins. I waited 10 mins and went back up. Spoke to someone else and they said they were baked in the order received. I explained that the rest of our party was almost done eating. This is the point our pizza finally went into the oven. They apologized, said they were short staffed, but the first time I asked about our pizza, it should have gone directly into the oven. After about an hour and 20 mins they called our name and offered to put it in a to go box; however, we were hungry and wanted to eat dinner. We have been going to Papa Tom's for 40+ years. I don't know if this place has changed owners, but the last few times we have been there, the crusts are tough and once we got one (of the many) we ordered that night (Party) and it came out burnt - when we took it back the employed acknowledged he noticed it - seriously still sent it out like that! The last time ( March 29th) and it is THE LAST TIME. My daughter was so kind and ordered all the pizza's and salad and drinks...They charged her 15% for it being over $100.00 What the heck! Hands down the best pizza in East Idaho. Generous toppings, healthy beer pours, and a bunch of vending machines and arcade games to entertain the kiddos. My little lady isn't a fan because she looks at the cleanliness of the kitchen, carpeted flooring, and restrooms, but the pizza parlor I grew up enjoying had a similar 'classic' feel, so it feels like home to this simple fella. The pizza is hands down the best, as can be proved by the lines and busy atmosphere on weekends. Don't pass on this East Idaho classic if in town looking for a good pie. I get it. Saturday night at 5:56 PM is when I signed the CC check with a 20% tip. They are busy. But we waited over an hour for our pizzas. In fact one hour and ten minutes. And the order was wrong. We ordered two pizzas and we got one. So another five minutes waiting for the second pizza. As a "member of the family" we certainly did not feel special in any way. Half of our party left at 45 minutes with a hangry child so we delivered the pizza to their place. Cold. The crust was very crunchy and not the best, I'd suggest investing in some new ovens. . I have been going to this location for years and I can't understand why their beer cooler is always having issues... beer is cool at best ... nowhere near cold. I've lived in Idaho Falls for about 3 years & this is the BEST PIZZA I've found since the gourmet pizza place in Alpine! We got a Hawaiian with white sauce. Sounds odd but it was AWESOME. I am from Idaho Falls - We ordered Take and Bake Pizza's for a family gathering on the 4th of July as our favorite pizza place was closed for the holiday. As we just picked up the pizza's at the counter, we declined to leave a tip when asked. The quality of the pizza's was poor and the price was high. After checking my bank account we found that they added a $15 tip even though we had declined to leave one. When we called they said that they automatically put a tip on all orders over $100 even if they do not have your consent. I find this so dishonest. Would not encourage anyone to go there. read more
