I adore the staff here! Folks do love this restaurant and rush to get there with their friends and families in tow before they close at 2:00pm. On warmer days, there's a nice patio in the back, otherwise there's enough windows to brighten the entire room. I usually order their oatmeal and will add, for the price, it beats out Flying Star's small cup unless you want to pay about the same price for a small cup oatmeal instead of a full sized bowl that will leave you sated for many hours! PS on the days they have their green chili chicken stew, order it, even if it's take out for later!

Oh my gosh! This was the best Eggs Benedict!!! And the atmosphere was really nice. We went straight to the patio with our two doggies and they even brought our dogs water. After breakfast, we went to walk on this beautiful green belt type area that is right next to Hello Deli.

So day 3 in New Mexico, and our director brought me to this place for breakfast. So far, it has been amazing, and Hello Deli is holding on to that trend. Their is plenty of seating inside and outside. However, the outside is just lovely. There is a nice view of some bridge and a walking path I believe. The service was super fast and they do have non-dairy options for your coffee. I had the sante fe skillet, which sounded just awesome, and indeed it was. I have been told to start with having the chili on the side to start since I am not used it on everything. The red chili was much spicier for me than the green chili. Green had a nice sweetness to it, but both had lots of flavor. Everything about the dish was great. They have a whole bunch of more items on the menu, and I am excited to have their pancakes next time. I heard they are insanely good. I def recommend it here.

Amazing first experience, nice environment, great staff and incredibly quick service. The food was surprisingly fresh being that it came out within 5 minutes of ordering! Of course we had to try a side of the unique green chili and pinion nut pancakes which were phenomenal! My wife and I both had sandwiches which were super tasty. We will be making another visit soon!

I cannot recommend Hello Deli enough! I thought about the biscuits and gravy for a full 24 hours before declaring we had to get them for Sunday brunch. Upon arrival, you'll notice that they're always packed (due to the mouth-watering menu!) but the service is excellent and moves quickly. My husband's go-to is the chicken fried steak burrito, and once you order it, it's hard to stray from this perfect plate. It's the aforementioned sausage gravy that is truly the star of the show, which smothers the burrito and biscuits! We added the chocolate chip pancakes this time for a little sweetness and they were absolutely incredible! You have to check this place out!

This is my green chili cheese fries review for Hello Deli. Very busy at lunch on a Thursday but service was friendly and fast. My order of GCCF came out within 5 minutes of ordering which was nice they were out before larger orders ahead of me. Kudos to the kitchen staff! Atmosphere is very deli-ish and a bit loud during heavy traffic. The GCCF were hot and made with real cheese! The green chili was hot enough to make my tongue tingle and my forehead sweat. I'd come back again for them. They serve 2 cans of local and 3 bottles of lighter barley soda.

Hello deli was busy this Sunday morning. After about 10 minutes we were led to our table. The better half had the Santa Fe skillet it was swimming in cheese and she loved it. She'd definitely get it again. I have probably around 100 CFS's a year and this one was great. I did have to send the first one back because it was cold, our waitress, Andrea, was right on it and about 3 minutes later I was provided a brand new order. This CFS has moved to my number 2 spot in ABQ. Great job Hello Deli you now have a new fan see you soon!

We have probably driven by here a gajillion times and just didn't think to look in the shopping center for a place to eat. Small but busy; not unexpected with it being the end of Balloon Fiesta Week and its close proximity to the fi. Friendly staff. We were seated quickly. Our food came out fast as well. I wasn't feeling breakfasty so got the Chipotle ranch wrap with fries. My husband got the biscuit and gravy with sausage and hash browns. Gravy is spicy and sausage is mild. Fries are thin and crispy. Chicken in the wrap wasn't dry. The chipotle gives it a nice kick in the end. So many choices on the menu. We will be back to keep sampling what they have to offer.

Finding a place to eat breakfast on a Sunday is almost as bad as trying to find a restaurant on Friday nights. We got here, the parking lot was full - but we got seated right away. Lots of choices on the menu. Biscuits & gravy is the selection add the Chipotle Ranch Wrap and there's a meal for 2. Food came out surprising fast. Biscuit was thick & gravy spicy. Must have been the red/grn chile. Food was delicious and a lot. Service was good. Hours are consistent with the area. It's businesses so they close around 2pm depending on the day. Not a bad place for breakfast.

Haven't been here in years. The food and service was on point just as it was years ago. I came in early and there was no wait. Let's get to the good part, here's what I had. Huevos Rancheros- Christmas style! The chile is pretty spicy and although my nose was running, I couldn't stop eating it. Instead of traditional corn tortillas, this is served on flour tortillas. Once you're done with your eggs, use the tortilla to scoop up the beans, hash browns and chile, sooo delicious! They're consistent and I'll visit again when I'm in ABQ next time.

It had been a while since I ate at the Hello Deli. The last time I stepped foot in this restaurant is when it was located further up the road in a shopping center near Target. At that time they were in a much smaller building and, to my recollection, they didn't have as vast of offerings. Flash forward. The year is 2024 and they are now in a much bigger space with an almost overwhelming menu selection. Seriously, it will take you a minute to go through all they have to offer. Everything from breakfast plates, sandwiches, salads, soups, and more can be found on their menu. They have a pay at the front then sit system which is kind of nice but I always feel bad because the waitstaff that tend to you after you sit always do a really awesome job. The system always causes me to tip less when paying upfront because I forget how awesome of service they provide after I pay. Tip: Bring Cash to leave at table. The restaurant is always extremely clean and waitstaff are really nice and helpful. The food is excellent. Of the two times at the new locations, I have had the big breakfast burrito twice and it is amazing. The chile is really good and the portion you can beat. I know I'll be back to try and make my way through their vast menu. Looking for something good to eat for breakfast or lunch? This is the place to go.

Preface: I had to find a new breakfast place had a horrible experience at Hannah and Nate's: 4 friends ordered eggs Benedict. Eggs came out rock hard. Waitress never checked on us. Complained to manager..walked away without saying anything. When we were ready to leave he sent us eggs in ramekins..also heckled by two other customers because I was wearing a Kamala shirt. Ended up asking all 4 of us to leave. So nice to experience Hello Deli's: Excellent eggs Benedict. Sat at bar and received wonderful service...gracious and attentive at front desk...WILL BE BACK!!! Here for my first visit today. Pretty much walking distance from the Marriott Pyramid. I chose the BLT Club because it has green chili in it. Nice spice profile to a tasty blt. I enjoyed Hello Deli. It's got a fun, expansive menu with twists on a variety of deli standards. Over a couple of days, when we were in a hotel and didn't feel like driving, we walked over for lunch a couple times. I tried both the Hello Californian (turkey, sprouts, Swiss, and avocado on a croissant) and Tom and Jack (turkey breast, Monterey jack, and onions on grilled sourdough), and my wife had the quinoa and avocado and Greek salads. The food was fresh and well prepared. Because we walked back to the hotel, the grilled sourdough was a little soggy, but that was on me. I will order that sometime when I'm going to eat in. The service was prompt and courteous, though the place was pretty busy. We will be back to try other items on what is a reasonably varied menu. read more

Unfortunately not the best experience here. We went for a Sunday lunch, and after being seated, it was maybe 10 minutes before anyone stopped by our table. Then after placing our food orders, it took a while for the food to come out, and it overall was pretty average tasting. The hash was plentiful in potatoes but lacking in carnitas, and the chicken fried steak portion is small. We had a side of pancakes that didn't come out till after we were almost done eating. I will say though, the wait for the pancakes was well worth it. They're fluffy and soft, and if I were to come back here, it'd be for the pancakes. Little else draws me back. read more

When you're done with your sleep study a little before 6 AM, there aren't a lot of breakfast options near Journal Center. Thankfully, Hello Deli opens at 5:30, so I had time for a leisurely breakfast before heading to work. I really appreciated their healthier "Power Breakfasts" options. The quinoa bowls sounded delicious, but I opted for the avocado toast. It's three pieces of seeded whole-grain toast, one topped with avocado and an egg cooked the way you like it, one with avocado and bacon, and the third with fresh tomato slices on the avocado. I don't know what they seasoned the avocado with, but it was fantastic and went so well with the three toppings. I ended up eating the pieces with the egg and bacon and putting one of the bacon slices on the tomato-topped slice to take with me for lunch. The server was warm, friendly, and prompt with drink refills. There were a number of regular customers who were greeted by name, but there was plenty of room so it didn't feel crowded at all. If you're in the area at o'dark hundred, Hello Deli is an excellent breakfast option. read more

I brought my mother here for lunch for her 80th birthday. The staff really helped to make it a special experience. The owner even came to say happy birthday, and she even had candles for the cake I brought (which they also put in the fridge while we were eating). The patio had a great atmosphere and wasn't too hot. I recommend the bloody Mary's, the spice was just right. Thanks hello deli for making my mom feel special! read more

Hello deli has something for everyone. Everything I have tried here is great. From their BLT to their soups and salads. I could probably eat lunch at help deli for a week straight. The service is fast and professional. The parking was great and the restaurant was clean inside and out. They get real busy at noon but if you can wait until 1, you won't have much if any waiting. Chris and I stopped here to order food for a picnic on the interior patio at the Marriott courtyard down the street. We ordered at the carry out register. The clerk was friendly and thanked us for our business. The menu is comprehensive with good choices for vegetarians and carnivores. The prices are a good value and the portion sizes were generous. I used the bathroom while waiting for the food. The bathroom was clean and spacious. I ordered the tuna salad on mixed greens with shredded cheese, sliced boiled eggs, tomatoes and the Greek salad dressing. I ate half and saved the rest for lunch the following day. Chris ordered a wrap sandwich with chicken salad and a side of fruit salad and a pickle. We both loved our food. Good quality and flavorful. We recommend this deli!! read more

From start to finish Hello Deli will Wow you every time. The staff is WONDERFUL! They genuinely care, and are very diligent to get your orders, and requests correct the first time. They have one of the best breakfast burritos that I have ever had. They may have the largest group of "regulars," I have ever seen. I think that points to how good their food is! They have a chicken fried steak burrito that is out of this world! It's also humongous! You could make it 3 meals! The Papita Grande is another Fave! Their potatoes are diced and cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong with anything for breakfast here! For lunch, I recommend the sandwiches and wraps. The turkey bacon wrap is fantastic! I sub out the ranch for honey mustard! :) YUMM! If you haven't been here you are missing out! read more

I love this place--before, during and after Covid. They really adapted well and continued to provide amazing service and delish food. Hubby and I love the Cobb salad and order it every time. My kids love the burgers. During shut down, you call in your order. Drove over and kid met us at our car window. Paid for food and delivered right to the car. Quick, friendly, local and delicious--could you ask for more??? read more

One of my favorite restaurants I have almost ordered everything on the menu never disappoints. Green chili soup so creamy so delicious. Huevos rancheros red, turkey wrap fries everything so good. I took a neighbor to hello deli on Jefferson st in valentines day because she lives thier tuna melt. I had never been there. Wow..what a menu . Anyways she's a stroke survivor any only gets out if I take her out. During lunch she started acting strange and slumping and her words were off. I got scared and called an ambulance. I need to thank Angela the owner and her managers Sarah and Dana. I HAVE never met kinder people in any business! They not only packed up my food and even filled up my drink to go. While I was outside waiting for the verdict on my friend Angela brought out 2 large cookies to take. My eyes filled with tears with such compassion I was given. ‍. Their food was delicious I had the gyro. So if you want amazing food served by the kindest people never go anywhere else but Hello deli on Jefferson. Cannot say enough good things about this place! We are a baseball team from Texas eating a quick lunch in between games! The owner was beyond accommodating to our 40+party! They usually close on Friday at 2:30 - they stayed open an extra hour for us! The food was fresh and delicious!! The service was friendly and efficient! If you are considering a sandwich type of lunch - don't go to Jason's Deli, Subway, McAlester's, etc... you'll just be disappointed - this is the place! read more

A nice big restaurant if you want to be able to sit with a large party! They have indoor and outdoor seating available so Covid concerns are low. It's very warm outside too because there are many heaters set up! The menu has a large selection of food items I would recommend for anyone that wants a casual lunch with tasty food. read more

Aw, I'm sorry Hello Deli. But my husband and I had some pretty dry sandwich take-outs this past Sunday. One of my favorite sandwiches is made with turkey, avocado and sprouts. But it was dry and the croissant was a couple days pst it's use-by date. My husband had an Italian sandwich made on a fantastic bread roll. But his was dry and flavorless. BUT we will be back! We all have an off day from time to time. read more

Great sandwiches, good food, pleasant atmosphere, served fast. Only problem right now - board said sandwiches were $8.75. Printed Menu said, $9.75. Then register rings them Up at $10.75 and so - manager says we've just been too busy to change the prices, but $10.75 is the price. I dunno what kind of thing this is -. A small note pasted on the counter says prices are higher than what is posted. Hope they get around to making this right. read more

Service has been poor. Since we've been long time patrons, we opted to give folks a second and third chance. The final straw was after waiting 20 minutes we asked about our order. It was never placed. We had to ask three additional times about our order. During the 20 minute wait, our server never checked on us or apologized for the delay. Service has gone down. It was our go to place but sadly no longer. read more

This place was very well recommended and had loads of delicious options. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I don't believe they realize what is gluten free on their menu. I have celiac disease and I asked my waitress multiple times whether the blue corn pancakes were gluten-free and she reassured me that they were. Unfortunately, they were not and I physically suffered for it dearly. They either contained gluten within them or were cross contaminated. Two hours after I had the tasty breakfast I spent throwing it up. Please educate your restaurant staff on food allergies! read more

The green chile at OTC is always plenty piquante (that's a fancy word for HOT). You add your own condiments. Their pickles are so good and crunchy that I am suspicious they might be made in-house. Your hamburger bun will come with the OTC initials grilled into the top. The buns are high quality and add to the hamburger experience. No dissolving buns at OTC. You get your choice of sides. I always pick the fruit cup as it contains at least one large piece of fresh pineapple or watermelon, making the other bits and pieces much more pleasing. Service starts when you order at the counter. Then the trusty staff makes your stuff and brings it out to your table. They have several beers on tap and more in the bottle, but I drink either water or Dr Pepper with my burgers just like the Texans I grew up with.
