Food and service are great! The brussel sprouts were delicious. It is a little on the expensive side, though.

It was OKAYYYY. Crispy potato wedges are delicious but other than that nothing spectacular (but nothing bad either!) we all enjoyed our lunch and the patio seating was beautiful

I travel quite a bit so like trying new places (and new beers). Walked in and seated quickly, handed a small menu (less than what is on web site) and decided to forgo my usual IPA (theirs would not fit my taste profile) to get a Scotch Export. Served room temp (which is good for darker beers to highlight all the flavors) but the beer had a weird cinnamon taste. Second beer was the dry stout which was a better pour but for a "Guinness-like" had almost no coffee flavor and was sour. If that's the "dry", it maybe went too far for my palate. Got the lemon chicken which was mostly greens. The sauce wasn't bad but maybe a bit broken. The chicken was okay. The greens were frankly the best part. The place was busy but from my experience I can't recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic spot for weekend brunch! From the amazingly creative menu to the friendly service to the sophisticated ambiance, this place is a true gem! The cast iron cheee dip with toasted bread was delicious and decadent in all the right ways. The brat skewers were so original and the roasted cauliflower was just wow! To top off everything else, the portions weren't too big or too small and neither were the prices! I can't wait to return and try more things on the menu.

I stopped by on Friday around 1 PM and the place was very quiet, with only about 4 other tables full. We sat outside on a nice patio. We got the ESB and Porter (both $6) and Salmon Skewers ($13). Service was friendly but a tad slow. The beers and food were both solid. The salmon skewers came with rice and a sweet and spicy sauce that we didn't like -- too much like cheap Chinese takeout sauce. I liked the simple, modern decor.

Stopped in for dinner while visiting friends. We had a reservation and we were seated quickly. I will say the entry way was very busy with those waiting for tables which might be frustrating for those who are seated nearby. We started with the goat cheese toast and Brussels. Both were delicious and shareable. I ordered the shaved ribeye and the Alabama white sauce was a perfect pairing. Big fan of the wedges versus fries that came with it. Good options for everyone on the menu but pricing could be high on some items compared to others.

My husband and I came to Hello Monty a few months ago when we were in town for a few days. We actually came twice during that trip. We enjoyed it so much that we recently took a day trip with some family who wanted to check it out! We had the opportunity to try Sunday brunch, which was a treat. Of course, we had to order crispy Brussels sprouts for the table. I had the brunch salmon, husband and sister had the sweet tea brined chicken sandwich and shared some of the huge biscuit, and my brother had the brunch burrito. Each of us more than enjoyed our meals, so the trip was definitely worth it! Our waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere was nice as always. We'll be back again!

Great spot for brunch!! Great cocktails and great food! Our server was attentive and quick! Highly recommend!

My wife and I dined here on a weekend evening and had a reservation. It was 1/2 full when we arrived and around same when we'd exited around 8:00 or 8:30. Staff and service were great. Ambiance was solid. Some families with young kids around but noise wasn't an issue. We'd already been snacking as we went around town so we were really just focused on quality over quantity in terms of the food we'd ordered. We shared some crispy Brussels Sprouts and the pork chop entree. Both were great, and quantity was certainly not an issue with the sprouts. The pork chop had a really nice char to it but was bone-in and still very moist and delicious. Our first time visiting and will definitely go again.

Walking in , you could see a long bar that you could sit at or just order food at in a designated area and seat yourself around the place. We chose to set up the bar, of course. It kind of ended up being a bad idea because people had no idea about personal boundaries and being in other people's face while they're enjoying their beers and they are standing around ordering food and reaching over you. Ben and I even switch seats, because he is worried about his personal space then I am. Most of the food that was on the menu was barbecue driven but since I had just had poke, I was not hungry. The servers were very friendly when we were ordering and checked in on us often I just wish that they would have kept the line in a more orderly fashion since there was a designated area for ordering specifically.

So, as I was told by the staff, the restaurant portion has been spun off and sold from the brewery itself, so this is my first visit for food, since that has transpired. It is now known as "BUDS & BREWS CHATTANOOGA", part of a larger group out of Nashville, I was told. The bar/brewery looks the same, there is the same helpful staff, but in all honesty, the food just isn't as good. The pulled pork, was okay at best, the fried onion rings, just too greasy, and the chicken wings, just too dry. When first opened NR was the first microbrewery to prepare and offer their own food, and the bbq was stellar, but I cannot make that same statement today. Brews are still good, but if need a good microbrewery in Chattanooga that can offer you good food to go along with that cold one, my recommendation is either Oddstory or Five Wits. I'll continue to come to NR for a beer, as their Moonpie Stout is absolutely one of the best beers you can find in Chattanooga, but like I said if I am hungry too, this will no longer be one of my primary spots to consider.

After watching Sooooo many pizza reviews, we decided to try the Neapolitan style pizza. Thin crust and cooked in a wood fire oven. So.... First and foremost pizza was good. Being a Neapolitan style, I was expecting a bit more crunch with the slight char. The tomato sauce was very good. You could tell it was fresh crushed tomatoes and basil. Bartender and our waiter were awesome. Talked to us about the local brewery, the styles of pizza, etc. very friendly and cooperative with all the questions we had. We were both pleasantly surprised by this local downtown place. Good atmosphere and good food. A must try when downtown Chattanooga. They do offer Detroit style and New York style pizza as well. It all depends on the way YOU like your pizza cooked! VERY good pizza! I would probably give this pizza, on a pizza scale; an 8.2 which is pretty high. A little flop on the crust, but the crunch, char and the amazing tomato sauce, partnered with the atmosphere and friendly staff made it a must visit pizza place! We finished it off with the local made gelato. I had milk and honey and my wife had chocolate. Both were very flavorful and refreshing on this very hot day. Community Pizza is fitting as everyone either in or around this community should stop by and try this pizza! Thanks for a great afternoon experience!

For three dollars, it just seemed too good to pass up. It came out looking great...but, three or four bites in, I felt something was off. Then it hit me! There was no flavor! It's almost like all you guys got on their case for too much salt, so they removed it from the recipe. lol I also had the adult fried cheese. They were just OK. The dipping sauce was fantastic. I'm not sure why they didn't use that sauce in the DeMarco Pizza. If they did, they did not use nearly enough. I think what I did not like about the fried cheese was that...in my head, I expected something similar to mozzarella sticks with flavorful breading. There was no breading to this...it was like a crisp, if that makes sense. It changed the dynamic. Less of a cheese stick, more of a wonton or empanada. I also love trying new things, so I had the blackberry vinegar drink. I don't know why I thought it sounded good, but it was written in fun, colorful purple chalk as if it was a great thing I needed to try....aaaahhh...marketing mind games strikes again. Maybe it's too sophisticated for me. Place was fun. Service was great. Everybody is super friendly. Very nice vibe to it.

We drove an hour each way and brought my 89-year-old mother-in-law, who was visiting from North Carolina, making this a special outing for our family. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were seated indoors rather than at the outdoor table we had reserved. The manager was very apologetic and courteous when I spoke with her, and I appreciate her professionalism. However, the main reason for choosing this restaurant was the outdoor dining experience and beautiful views, so the disappointment could not really be corrected once we were seated inside. The food and service may have been good, but the experience did not match what we specifically reserved and traveled so far to enjoy. For guests making reservations for outdoor seating, I would encourage the restaurant to communicate in advance if those accommodations cannot be honored. It would help avoid disappointment, especially for customers traveling significant distances for a special occasion. I hope management will review its reservation process so future guests can have the experience they planned for.

It was a little chilly, but not quite "Ohio" chilly so we sat ourselves outside with a couple of hazy IPA aka Juice Bombs from Sloop Brewery. This brew pub is sandwiched between brick buildings: Stacks, a burger pub, on the right and another commercial building on the left. Across the street is the Police, so be warned, and don't get too funky. We asked if they had food and said no but it was ok to get some take out and eat it at their table or order from Stacks (what we did) and they bring it to your table from next door. Even better. Stacks' mushroom burger and stack cheese burger were very good too. We washed those down with another set of local IPAs called Southeast by Tailgate Brewery in Nashville, TN, also very good. Some of the tables have heating lamps which would have been nice as it got chillier. Not ours. But no sweat. This place does occasionally make their own beer as well but it's primarily a brew pub which sells other beer and canned beer from all over. I'm glad we had a chance to come. Now for the drive home. Thankfully we are less than 2 hours away. Atlanta here we come!
